Our cabin was well stocked; it even had movies, towels, silverware and a Keurig with donut shop coffee pods!! The host Evelyn was amazing; she was so friendly and helpful! The place was serene and close to a great swimming spot!! Will definitely be going back!
The pictures give it a more private appearance but each âcabinâ is right next to another. Would have been fine if there wasnât black dog hair all over my sheets and pillows, Iâm not sure if they were clean it looked like a dog was just sleeping under the covers. It had me itching all night.
I chose this place as it is off the beaten path. Close to the river. More importantly not tourist heavy. Cons now. The shower facility uses bad water that has sulfur bacteria. The smell is something. No warning that I can see. And a little wifi could help too.
Cabin was very cute and clean when we got there. Unfortunately no where in the description did it say that there is a community toilet and shower house. I didnât realize this until the day after I made a reservation and it was too late to cancel and get a refund. Due to health issues and the community bathroom we had to find a different place to stay on short notice.
Very hard to get into the community bathroom because the park was packed and if you didnât get up at the crack of dawn, you werenât able to use the restroom. Also, the restroom was extremely hot. And the water smell smelled like sulfur who wants to take a shower and smell like rotten eggs?

Disappointed
The cabin was in a satisfactory condition regarding cleanliness. However, there was a distinct lack of privacy, as the cabins were situated in close proximity to one another. Furthermore, our expectation of being able to access the nearby river by foot was not met. The communal bathroom facilities were deemed acceptable, with the exception of the unpleasant odor of sulfur emanating from the water, which rendered it unsuitable for showering.
We didn't stay due to horrible sanitation in the port-potty and no access to the one and only shower on the property. The ports-potty hadn't been cleaned in days, there was diarrhea caked on the urinal, floor was flooded and it smelled like cat urine. We left after fifty five minutes, din't stay the night and want a full refund. We discourage anyone from staying at this "campsite"
