I'm not that hard to please, and there were good and bad aspects to this stay. Good: well built and maintained converted garden shed to weekend cabin. Complaints: 1. Listed as 3BR, 1 Bath. I'm reality, this is a one room cabin with no BR. One bed and a couch on main floor, one tiny bed in tiny loft. Only bathroom is shared bathroom/shower in campground. 2. Little cell service in this area, which was a real problem when our biggest problem occurred. 3. Following the map directions for this address took us down a long dirt road that got worse and worse, finally turned into last road filled with mud holes and water filled craters with absolutely no sign of the cabin. The plastic guards under my car were torn up by the road and mud was everywhere. We drove on and finally got a tiny bit of phone service and found a note on listing that the map app location was inaccurate. We drove on and finally found the campground. We discovered a much quicker way to town after figuring out where we were. I just think the owner could have helped us avoid some of these issues up front.
Comfy and clean! Broken Futon Bed and Missing DVD Player
The cabin was comfy and clean. The only issue was that the DVD player was missing and with no Wi-Fi or cable service, we couldnât use the TV at all. The futon bed worked but one of the sides would not stay connected to the bed and if sat on, it would fall in. The other beds were comfy and there were towels, extra sheets, a lighter, and silverware which was a nice touch. The other thing to mention is that it really is one room and a loft.
