Lovely home in such a cozy town. We really enjoyed our stay there. The beds were comfortable and we had all the amenities to make dinner and watch movies as the fog rolled in.

The house is very clean, the kitchen has everything you need. I had the perfect mornings sitting on the porch with my coffee. Jodie is a great host, she gets back to you right away if you have questions or concerns. And my dog just loved it. We had great stay!!

We really loved staying at this peaceful property. It was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The host was very helpful and responded right away every time we reached out. Look for the deer . Walking distance to restaurants the bay and to a beautiful landscape. We will definitely return.

This gem of a property was exactly what we were seeking for our getaway. The charm of the 1860s home, old growth Monterey cypress and eucalyptus groves with the peek-a-boo view of the Bay was magical. Each morning and evening we were treated to a parade of deer, quail and turkeys while the pelicans roosted in the tree grove up the hill. Our pups enjoyed the enclosed yard as we sipped wine and read books. An incredibly relaxing oasis! The bed was very comfortable with memory foam topper and the kitchen well-provisioned. Only feedback would be to trim up the trees for even better Bay viewing!

Host was very communicative and clear about what this property offered! We enjoyed this stay, especially so close to delicious fresh seafood and wineries. We were able to cook fresh seafood as the kitchen had all the cooking amenities needed. The property was quiet and beautiful and I would recommend it to someone trying to relax and enjoy Bodega Bay and the surrounding small towns.

Nice cottage with lots of privacy and wildlife. about a mile or so from the beach. close to the restaurants and shops in Bodega. Very peaceful and relaxing. A great way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

It was a very cute and quiet place to unwind. The only thing that was bothersome is on the last day the house cleaner was in front of the home an hour before checkout and blabbing on his phone. It made for an uneasy exit.

Our host Jodie was great with communication. She answered questions right away and had great recommendations on places to eat. The home is rustic in the best way. It sits on an open property that allowed us to see deer, quail, lots of birds and there is an eagles nest in the backyard! It was truly relaxing. Looking forward to returning.

Great little place

We enjoyed the stay, it was a very nice experience. There was some wildlife walking around, like turkeys and deer and quail. And it was very peaceful, next time we come back we will definitely try to book this place again

I rent this for my husband birthday. I don’t know why people who rent out their property, don’t use quality mattresses. So, if you have people with back problems this is not someplace you want to stay. The price I paid and not get quality mattress. I paid for three nights and only stay two nights. Because we didn’t sleep well.

This seems like a harsh review for an issue not related to home. We use mattresses with levels of softness/firmness that we personally feel are comfortable . Prior guests have no issues and some have even specifically commented on how much they enjoyed the bed/mattresses. Preexisting chronic back pain in guests is something we cannot control and we cannot promise that our accommodation can alleviate any prior medical conditions.

The house backs up to a Eucalyptus grove. A trio of wild turkeys regularly visited. The house was comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Secluded Cottage Surrounded by Nature

Jodie is a great host and her cottage is tucked away surrounded by wildlife. Our friend also stayed with us and, as an avid bird-watcher, he was thrilled with all of the nests nearby. Our family would definitely stay here again.
