Very convenient location and perfect for pet owners
Very nice stay in this property. You are about 5 minutes from downtown and very easy to access. The house is great and roomy. The backyard is perfect for dog owners. Owner was quick to respond to any questions and overall satisfied with the stay.
Very nice placeâclean, and well-stocked with plenty of essentials. We did receive our key code a bit late, but the host responded quickly and sent it right over as soon as we reached out. Extremely responsive and helpful! My family and I were in town for Peach Jam week, and the location was super convenient to the venue where my son played. The neighborhood is currently going through a revitalization phase, so some areas may look a little worn at first glance, but itâs honestly not as bad as it might seem. We never felt unsafe at any point during our stay.Just a couple of minor notes: the couch is starting to show some wear and may need replacing soon, and the rug in the primary bedroom could use some refreshing. The neighbors dog does bark early mornings! Other than that, everything was great!Overall, a very positive experience and a solid choice for anyone visiting the area. Would would stay here again.
The house was great and very close to the course. The only thing I would say is the same thing that others have said - the street/area isn't THE BEST spot to be. But it was super doable and we had a great time!
First of all if I could given our host Evan more than 5 stars, I would. He was great and replied quickly to any request or concern. The house is roomy, attractive, and comfortably set-up. There was more than enough room for the five of us. We were a bit dubious about the neighborhood at first, but we really felt very safe and comfortable there. My husband and I walked the neighborhood every day and all of us enjoyed the front porch sitting area. Being just off Walton Way was great as we were just minutes from most of Augustaâs main attractions. Had a great time!
We really enjoyed our time here. The house was clean and spacious. We arrived the evening after a snow shower. The house was freezing and it took most of the evening to heat the house. The front stairs were covered in ice and my daughter did end up slipping on them. Thankful, she was not hurt. The host replied to my messages promptly. There is a great coffee shop at the end of the street which was so convenient and yummy! Neighborhood was quiet. We would stay here again if in the area.
Les points faibles : Communication et emplacement
Good and Bad
Good1. Comfortable beds2. Close to the MastersBad1. Neighborhood 2. Overwhelming smell of air fresheners that I was allergic to.3.Response when the link to unlock the house was not there. Had to call VRBO to get help.4. Not terribly clean5. Furniture worn out. I was afraid dining room chairs were going to break.6. The cleaning crew showed up at 10:00 but our check out time was 11:00.7. We received check out instructions with tasks after the cleaning crew arrived.8. Little value for the exorbitant price charged over the Masters weekend.
Host was easy to communicate with and very thorough with details needed to ensure a smooth stay. House was very clean and included everything needed for a comfortable stay!
This place was a more than enough space for 3 adults and dog. Space was clean and perfect for hanging out on the down time. Here for Army ceremonies.
Close to stores, coffee bar right on corner to grab a cub of Joe in the morning.
Fenced yard for the dogs was great.
Our host, Evan was prompt in communication and questions we had. Would recommend. Good price for the off season too- less than any decent hotel with more offerings.
Our experience with this host was unacceptable. The host canceled our reservation an hour before check-in, citing construction issues. While the construction itself may have been out of their control, the way they handled the situation was appalling. The host made no attempt to notify us through call, which they claimed they would from previous messages in app. When I arrived, I saw the construction and spoke with workers, who said theyâd finish in 2â3 hours and suggested a delayed check-in wouldâve been more reasonable than outright cancellation. The host hadnât checked on the construction and only aware of their presence before making this abrupt decision. While a refund was provided, it was useless to us since funds wouldnât be available for 5â7 days. Scrambling for accommodations on short notice was stressful, worsened by the hostâs lack of communication. When I contacted the host, the call became unprofessional. They cut me off, accusing me of planning a party as I called my group a âpartyâ of 6, a baseless assumption. The host also falsely claimed to have called me 14 times, which was untrue. When I explained my group was arriving soon, they were not very empathetic to the situation at hand. Despite the terrible experience, the home was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Under better circumstances, we wouldâve enjoyed it. However, the hostâs unprofessionalism and lack of accountability made this a nightmare. Avoid booking with them until they improve their practices.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very comfortable, clean, and well equipped with anything you might need for a stay. Nice backyard space to enjoy as well. The neighborhood itself is unassuming, and there are great coffeeshops, restaurants, and stores just around the corner! Our host couldn't have been nicer or easier to work with. It was a great experience, and we would definitely stay again should we find ourselves in Augusta!
