CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.
-PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS/WEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 40LBS OR LESS.
-$100 per pet fee (7 days or less), $200 (8-29 days), $300 (30+ days).

One shortcoming

The furnishings were not ideal for shorter people. The sofas were very deep and soft. The beds were high and soft. While this was a personal issue due to stature and age, it might be something to consider if you are elderly and short. On the positive side was just above everything else. The kitchen has almost every conceivable pot snd pan and utensil. The covered patio was great for enjoying the outside in the shade. The small pool was wonderful and not heavily utilized. With only 10 units in the complex we often had the pool to ourselves. If you are looking for quiet peace, this place is perfect. It’s also convenient to restaurants snd shopping. The cleaning crew missed a couple of things, but the property manager quickly responded.

Loved it!

This was our first vacation in 2 years and we all had an absolute blast! This house was perfect for us and it was very clean and well kept. We loved the pool the outdoor shower and the privacy. 10/10 recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for our family of 4! 2 bedroom and 2 bath was great! The furniture was is god shape, all the tvs worked (without having to logged into anything). Kitchen appliances and utensils were is good shape as well. Location was great, easy 5 min drive to anything/everything. The only thing I would request is to remind any renters on Friday to make sure you wheel the trash bin out to the street.

Very Cute Place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great place, I'd stayed at a different unit in this complex before so specifically looked to stay here again. The unit is well maintained, A/C works great, the hot water is a bit too hot, it probably should be turned down a bit as it could injure someone, especially a child, just some constructive criticism. Also this is the only vacation rental I have ever stayed in that didn't provide beach towels. And they only provide 4 regular towels, which was ok for 2 people but if there were 4 women/girls that would be a problem as most women need one towel for hair and one for body. Maybe invest in a pack of 30.00 for 6 towels at Sam's club and put some more in there. Those were my only 2 complaints and they're minor. I definitely would come back to this unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spent a week in Corpus Christi visiting relatives. The condo was close enough to get to all my relatives, friends and the attractions without a long drive. And was located in a lovely, out of the main hub of the city, quiet and relaxing neighborhood. When we return to Corpus I am hoping this condo will be available.Our biggest concern was finding a place that takes pets, specifically cats. Our tortoiseshell cat is 13 years old and we prefer to have someone watch her when we vacation away from home or to take her with us. She has never been boarded and I believe she is too old to have a first experience of that. After so many false starts with properties that said they take pets only to find it was only small dogs, I was ready to give up vacationing in Corpus. When my husband finally found this condo, I was over the moon.After we arrived and settled in our cat stalked the new area and then curled up in her bed. We were relaxed, she was relaxed.Our vacation was lovely and made even better since she was with us and we did not need to be concerned with her welfare being boarded.

Mixed Feelings

First, booking was so easy and efficient. We drove up to a really cute cottage surrounded by other cuties! We walked in and oohhed and ahhhed as we looked around. But that evening when we came back in my son was laying on the cushion of the kitchen booth and pointed out ants. Then all of sudden ants were everywhere and crawling up the walls and by the front door and in the room my daugter was going to sleep in as well. The after hour people were great because they answered right away and were very polite. They called back and said an exterminator would be out in the morning. Looking back I wish they had offered us a hotel room or at least that night's refund. I think that would have shown outstanding customer service. They did spray the next day but an even higher up exterminator had to come out. The sleeper sofa bed was hard to pull out and the metal was bent on the left side so the handyman also worked on that when they initially sprayed for ants. The Fire alarm chirped early one morning but thankfully there was no fire or smoke. The handyman worked on that and just cleaned it with air compressor and that worked. We did like him, very sweet. The other thing I would add is details like the shower curtain bar was rusted over in places. In summary, everyone is super nice and they helped us. I just think going above and beyond with customeres goes a long way. Again, an offer of a hotel room or at least take off a night's stay. So this is why it's titled "Mixed Feelings".

Probably Should Keep This Find a Secret

Very professional and efficient management. Booking and check in were a breeze. Communication was perfect from start to finish. Found all the information we needed in the downloadable app and again provided in print when we arrived. We did call with one question regarding guest parking - (the parking signs at this property are a little confusing). The call was answered on the first ring and the advice was friendly and helpful. The parking was in fact great - two spaces steps from the door and plenty of guest parking. The location is A+++ - right in the center of everything - minutes from Mustang Island State Park, Padre National Sea Shore and multiple other beach access points. A few minutes the other way over the causeway and you’re in Corpus Christi - HEB plus , restaurants, the University, downtown Corpus and Ocean Drive. Port Aransas is only twenty minutes away. There’s a Circle K, Starbucks and a Whataburger within walking distance. What else could you need? Rental was very clean and looks almost brand new. Beds and furniture were comfortable… not the cardboard Wayfair stuff you often find. Outdoor shower and hose is super helpful. Pool is tiny but well kept. Fenced in breeze way gave the dog a place to stretch his legs. Overall a great rental experience. While the unit was pretty well equipped - the consumables were lacking. No dish soap or hand soap, no shampoos - no snacks😕. Those are nice to find.
