Home Truths: - This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - This unit is located on the second floor, accessible by one flight of stairs. There is no elevator in the building. - The trash bin is located at the front of the building at the street and is picked up weekly.
Parking Details: - 2 cars can be parked in the open parking lot in front of the building.
This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.
As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.
Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.
There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.
As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. The stay was perfect for Mother’s Day! The space is bigger than it looks from the outside, and very clean. The “3 beds” is more of a “2 bed, one couch” situation, but the one who slept on the couch slept comfortably as the couches are really nice. I do suggest using the washer and dryers by 7pm at the latest, as it can be a bit noisy if you’re trying to sleep, but isn’t a problem if you’re just hanging out or watching a movie. There were nearby grassy spots for our dogs to relieve themselves, and the location is close to some good beaches and eateries. I wish I tried the cafe across the street, but that’s a trip for next time. Overall, I’d stay here again :)

Property was clean, Pet-friendly, and we did use the pool. The pool was immaculate. Crystal Clear. The property was very comfortable with modern amenities and furniture. Check-in, check-out was smooth, and through the Avantstay site, I had all the information I needed for the stay. Everything was covered, and the text message reminders were helpful as well. I would recommend this property. Outside of the property, the neighbors were quiet and were friendly when outside walking their dogs. The location was excellent for walking to a nearby strip with a CVS, souvenir shops, and various other shops. With a vehicle, the main beach area was only 3-4 minutes away, with the area you needed to get to visible from the property. About one mile down the main road you can turn left and it leads straight to the beach, or go straight and the supermarket is right there. Location was excellent and we could find everything we needed at all times. We also had an event to attend in downtown Corpus Christi, which was easily possible due to being only a 20-ish minute drive from the property on one main highway.

The pictures on VRBO are much better than the actual place. The bedroom carpeting is dirty and needs replacing. The same with the living room furniture which as uncomfortable and worn. The washer was very loud. The back of the property isn’t as nice a pictured. The positives is that the unit was priced pretty well and it was very spacious.

Just a quick getaway
Very spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space after spending a whole day at the beach together. The host has lots of small touches to make the stay a lovely experience. Best thing about this location is its right behind Island Joe’s coffee! Just a short 3 mins walk to enjoy the best cup of coffee ever!
