My husband, Mike, and I have recently completely remodeled our 1895 Queen Anne Victorian that we have appropriately named, "The Queen on Main" and we are excited to offer it as a unique experience for overnight accommodations in the quaint, historic farming community of Winters, CA.- which has become quite the destination place!
I am a retired horse breeder of 15 years now, retired also from Marketing and Operations Management for Total Horsemanship Training. While there I also was fortunate to manage work in the film industry where my daughter and I provided the horses for various film productions. I also wrote a monthly column in an Equestrian magazine in that capacity. I am recently retired with my husband as owners of a chain of automotive repairs facilities in Solano County where I was the Office Manager.
Winters has been home to our family for 36 years where we have resided just outside of town on a ranch- it has been a wonderful community to be a part of!
My passion is Interior Design and Entertaining. The Queen On Main has allowed me to express both.
I currently work in: Interior Design, Farming and Property Management
Mike is a retired business owner of a chain of automotive repairs centers for over 30 years. He is a muscle car enthusiast (and expert). Classic Rock Music has always been a part of his life. He is a guitar enthusiast and collector. He has discovered he also enjoys antiques- lucky for me!
Mike has stories but they aren't fishing stories... People enjoy visiting with him, he is interesting and has quite the sense of humor. ... And dogs seems to really like him. I'm not sure what that indicates but its the living truth- and cats!
Mike currently manages our farming operations and oversees the business end of things.
Now that you know we are people just like you, we hope that you will feel comfortable in booking your stay with us. It is our sincerest hopes that your stay will be one that provides enjoyable memories for years to come!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
I want you to know something else about me- when I do something I go all out. I had you in mind when I went all out on this home. It is important to me that you feel welcome and like royalty. We all should feel that from time to time. It is my greatest ambition and hope with this endeavor that you enjoy yourself and make memories that will last a lifetime in this home. It really is the sweetest home ever- you won't want to leave, I promise you! The home is cozy and comfortable and "entertaining" with all of it's unique antique and vintage pieces, the books, art, the scented gardens... all of it is about having a beautiful, interesting experience. You will come away (hopefully) exclaiming "I never expected I would come away with so much, I have learned things I never knew before... and never knew I wanted to know even..." or something as to that effect. The Queen On Main is more than just overnight accommodations. It is also a memorable experience!
The downtown vibe just can't be beat. Winters is a quaint historical farming community quickly becoming the "go-to' place and for a good reason. Friendly with people who care. Fine restaurants and superb shops. Summer concerts in the park, The Earthquake Festival, The 4th of July Fireworks, The Tractor Parade at Christmas... car shows, quilt shows, art shows... there is always something interesting and fun to experience!
We have lakes! Lake Solano provides a popular place to kayak, canoe, bird watch or fish. Lake Berryessa provides for water sports as well as great fishing! Bass fisherman know this already.
Hiking! We have trails...
Bicycling! we have bicycle races- famous races and enthusiasts come from all over the world to traverse these scenic parts.
Farm tours, wine tasting, breweries... if you can't find something to do then you aren't trying.
Not only do you get an amazing, elegant, romantic historical home that is comfortable, but you get a town full of friendly people and fun places to go!
