Your family will be close to everything when you stay in this cozy bungalow, decorated with a 1950's glam flair, featuring a brand-new kitchen, living room, half-bath and laundry on the main floor. The second floor features two bedrooms and a full bath. Enjoy the awesome front porch and enclosed back yard. One block off Tipp City's Main Street and a half-mile from Tipp's historic downtown shopping district. Note: we are close to a fire station, so you may hear occasional sirens.
The host was very kind and responsive, and the house was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, the upstairs bedrooms were extremely hot when we arrived, and there didnât seem to be proper AC up there. Since thatâs where the sleeping areas were, we decided not to stay and found a hotel closer to our family instead. The host was great to work withâit just wasnât the right setup for us.
So enjoyed my stay in Tipp City at this lovely bungalow! The accommodations were comfortable, clean and easily accessible to everything downtown.
Will definitely stay there again!
Enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Home in Tipp City. Check in was easy and communication with the host was easy and much appreciated. The place was spotless and our two dogs loved the fenced in back yard. I highly recommend the house and plan on staying again!!
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The property owner was readily available and checked in with us to make sure we had anything we might need. We often use Vrbo when we travel and this was, hands down, the best experience we have had!
We loved this house. The host was terrific. During the severe weather, she brought flashlights to us in case the electricity went out.
We hope to rent again next year.
Just needed a place that was clean and pet friendlyâŠ.definitely checked the boxes. Quiet neighborhood and loved the fenced in yard. Owner very communicative and house was exactly as described & photographed.
We loved having our own "non-hotel" space for a week. It was a blessing to have the dishwasher and laundry. We slept well in the beds. Price was better than the hotel!
This was a perfect property for our trip to OH for work. The neighborhood and super safe and clean and within walking distance to the Tipp City main street shops. The backyard was perfect for our fur baby! The property was just as pictured, clean and had everything we needed!!! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.
This house was everything we anticipated and more! Sparkling clean, tastefully decorated with a lovely fenced in backyard in a friendly and quaint neighborhood. The host was kind and she communicated extremely well. Easy check-in and check- out. Will definitely stay here again when back in Tipp!
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Samantha was during our stay. We were visiting family that lives nearby and this place was the perfect retreat. Samantha left us a welcome gift that was very sweet.
Street parking was seamless, a spot right out in front, keyless entry, great bedroom space with a comfortable bed, plenty of towels, large closets and dressers, usb charging port on the nightstands and body wash in the bathroom. The second bedroom was large enough for 2 children with dressers and closet space.
Although we didnât use the kitchen except for the coffee maker (k-cups included!), it was brand new with new appliances and plenty of room to cook.
Mornings and afternoons on the porch were so peaceful. If you are going to Tipp City, rent this place! And go into town! I know we will be back again.
Comfortable, quiet, tastefully decorated, and convenient
Very much enjoyed this bungalow. The neighbors were quiet and courteous. The neighborhood should be featured in a magazine regarding âAmericanaâ as itâs picture perfect with beautiful homes. The bungalow was everything weâd hoped for, and more. The decor was fantastic - late 1950-early 1960âs. Loved, loved the decor. Bungalow had all of the amenities and the twin bed room was fantastic. Master bedroom was comfortable, quiet, and dark - excellent mattress for sleeping. Kitchen was equipped perfectly - we lacked nothing. Loved the turquoise siding and pink door. The front porch fit in with the nostalgic feel of the area. Aston the front porch every morning with my coffee and watched the world go by in the comfy tropical-themed big chairs. Hostess was awesome. She paid attention to detail and often answered questions within the hour. Accommodations were well worth the price. Highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again if we visit the area in the future. Thank you Sam, for a great stay!
We love the decor of the house. The fenced in backyard was so nice for the dogs. The front porch was so relaxing while sitting in a papasan.
Sorry that we did not put a request in for toilet paper and paper towels. There was very little of each. There was none under the sink as mentioned. We love the style of the couch and the chairs but they are not comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Maybe a tv in the bedroom.
Weekend trip with the dogs. Cute house in nice neighborhood. Well kept fenced yard a bonus. Hiked at three parks then enjoyed sitting on the back stoop to watch the sunset, while the dogs explored the yard. Everything was clean. It is an older home with painted floors and stairs so I had to be mindful to not slip. Comfortable bed. It was like staying the weekend at grandmaâs house. Easy walk to town as it is just a block from Main Street. Would stay there again.
We were in town for our nieceâs wedding. We wanted more space than a hotel would provide and this home was clean and cozy too! The privacy fence around the backyard was perfect for our daughters service dog. He could run and we could sit at the picnic table in the evening when the weather was a bit cooler. My daughters had never seen lightning bugs before so that was an added treat! It was the perfect size for 4 of us. It was right off I-75 and centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit. We didnât need to contact our host but she sent us a welcoming and thank you message. So I have no doubt that she wouldâve been available had there been the need. We highly recommend staying here.
Small-town mom, word nerd, book lover, and vintage/midcentury modern collector. I loved creating a truly special and unique place for you to stay. Welcome to our adorable town!
