Beautifully renovated and professionally designed two bedroom 2 bath home in Santa Barbara! The unit feels like a house with only has one shared wall and a private backyard with patio and hot tub. Walk just half a mile to the Mesa Lane Steps for a relaxing day at a quiet beach, or walk just a block to fabulous restaurants like Mesa Verde, Mesa Burger, and supermarkets like Lazy Acres. The 2 bedroom, single level duplex unit sleeps up to 4 comfortably and comes fully equipped for a great stay!
We booked this home for graduation weekend and it was a wonderful choice. There was plenty of space for all of us in this comfortable and clean home. We enjoyed the backyard and the short walk to the beach and the ice cream shop were bonuses.
Spend a quiet weekend in Santa Barbara with the family. The home has everything we needed, and we felt very comfortable. Will definitely be back! Great location and a quiet neighborhood.
In town for SB half marathon and had a great stay in the process!
This space was relaxing, clean, close to town. We had a great vacation weekend and thoroughly enjoyed this quaint home! The hot tub was wonderful and the beds were cozy, comfortable and warm! The location was lovely and friendly. We brought our bikes and rode to dinner every night in the funk zone!
The condo is awesome. We had a great stay. Everything was accurate as shown and The Mesa is a great neighborhood. Highly recommend and will stay again.
Great stay but some small tweaks would make it perfect.
Beautifully presented. Interesting and carefully chosen artwork and furnishings. Contemporary design. Spotlessly clean. High quality bed linen. Quiet, smart neighbourhood. Close to restaurants and supermarket. On site parking provided.
Just missing - a full length mirror, sufficient crockery to run the dishwasher and have a cup of coffee at the same time. Also four long stemmed wine glasses needed. Small details but would have made our good experience, excellent.
The unit was clean except for a comforter on the bed. We complained and management replaced that evening. House is sparse and has no mirrors in the bedrooms. Management should explain parking to all tenants staying there. We would have used the hot tub but description didnât mention it. All in all I would stay again
Unfortunately I made reservations when it rained nevertheless we were still able to enjoy our stay. We were fortunately able to check in a little early and it worked out perfect because we had dinner reservations. The place was absolutely beautiful, looks newly remodeled and it was perfect for my small fam. We were able to turn on tv and use Netflix, cook as they pretty much have everything including wine glasses. We forgot our shampoo and they had hotel size shampoo/conditioner and a bunch of towels whichâs we used. Jacuzzi worked well and we were able to use their picnic table outside when it stop raining for breakfast. The only thing missing was a iron, ironing board, q-tips and coffee. Since we travelled to get here our clothes got wrinkled and we had to go buy one at Target which was a bit of a drive especially while it rained. They had coffee beans but their coffee maker doesnât grind them :( unless we couldnât figure out how to do it. If it does grind the beans maybe some instructions so that the next person doesnât break the Coffe maker. They have WiFi and beds and pillows were very comfortable. Also, everything was pretty close to us, no more than 10 min drive.
I regret renting this property, the owners are the rudest hosts Iâve ever experienced. Our second of two nights at 9 pm, we endured a plumbing disaster that would last hours with no working toilets and sewage backups. When Diana finally responded to my many phone calls trying to inform her about the situation she was rude & condescending, she said she would keep in touch. Two ppl were sent over, a cleaning person with no supplies and a plumber w no tools. The plumber made the issue worse, by backing up sewage into bathtub and bath sinks. We had to wait for both parties to retrieve tools off site, this took hours longer than necessary to remediate. We never heard from Diana again. After checking out I wrote Diana expressing my frustrations, she responded aggressively, no apology or compensation offered. On top of this, the day of check in I was provided no instructions on how to check into property, I had to msg hosts for instructions. Upon checkin we discovered the back door was unlocked, I msgâd the seppi, he showed no concern or apology of this security issue. They later accused me of never informing them about this issue and said seppi never responded to my claim. They are liars it was in app texts. The unit is a cheap Reno, furniture is cheap and falling apart. Blinds in bedroom were missing panels, dirty towels/linens (glad brought my own). No instructions on how to use hot tub/devices/WiFi. These hosts do not care about their guests, they just want your money.
The house was very clean, in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to the food market. Beds were comfortable. The backyard was nice and having the hot tub was a definite plus. Downtown Santa Barbara was only a ten minute drive away. One morning we walked to the Douglas Family Preserve and then back along the beach. I would strongly recommend this walk. The owner was very responsive. The first morning my wife noticed that the coffee maker was broken. He had a replacement delivered by the end of the day.
All in all, an excellent place to stay.
Happy to add a second review for this wonderful little property. Felt like a small single family home in a quiet neighborhood. Great layout with brand new (incredibly clean appliances, bathrooms and finishes - must have just been remodeled) + comfortable furniture and comfy beds + hot tub was a terrific bonus! We easily walked to the ocean and we were 10 min or less drive from all the Santa Barbara attractions - not to mention walking distance to all the restaurants and stores in The Mesa. Donât worry about the low number of reviews, this is a gem!
