The ultimate river oasis complete with outdoor fire pit, concrete dock and outdoor kitchen make this a great option for a weekend retreat or family vacation. This stretch of river offers diversity that is hard to find, from shallow flowing water, to cascading falls to deep holes there is truly something for any water enthusiast. In addition to the outdoor kitchen, the home is complete with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a sleeping porch, and a sleeping loft. River and yard toys such as kayaks, Stand up Paddle Boards, canoe, river floats, corn hole, spike ball and can jam are available. An Outdoor Paradise!

We absolutely loved every minute of our stay! We had many littles running around for a Spring Break trip, and they couldn't have had more fun! The property has the most incredible landscape, and we spent every minute outside. We kayaked, canoed and explored the river rocks all day. We loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen and ate every meal on the outdoor dining table. We cooked every night and the home had everything we needed, down to s'more roasting sticks! The 4 and 8 year olds loved the kitchen loft and the younger kids enjoyed the sleeping porch. The two rooms were perfect for the adults of the two families that stayed! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay!

Our family enjoyed this home so much. Was a perfect place to enjoy meals together, play games and enjoy the Guadalupe river. Loved it and can’t wait to be back.

Great river house

We loved spending the weekend here with family! Very clean and very beautiful property. The river was so peaceful and our boys had so much fun playing in the river.

Great two nights before camp pickup

Loved the property and great communication. Only issue was we couldn’t get gas grill to work and went to Hunt store for charcoal to work the other but otherwise such a clean house! Would rent again!

Beautiful home & grounds

This has got to be one of the best waterfront properties in the area! HUGE river frontage and the house is unique historic and beautifully decorated- host was wonderful! Will be back!

Hill Country get away with young family!

Just spent a week relaxing on the river with the family! In-laws came out for a couple of days to break things up a bit. House was wonderful! Extremely clean and the layout worked well with our kiddos. River was up and water temp was perfect! Would definitely go back!

Spring break fishing and canoeing!

The river front here is unparalleled! Communication w the owner was easy and prompt! We loved it — went hiking at Lost Maples and ate dinner at Grape Juice in Kerrville. The porches and outdoor areas are simply fabulous.

This property was perfect for our family. The layout and amenities were wonderful. The kitchen was well appointed. The games and books kept the kids happy when they weren’t out exploring or swimming!

The property was amazing!!! We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and relaxing. Everything you need is there! Lots of beds and space! Highly recommended!!

Fantastic Stay!!!

We didn’t want to leave. Beautiful home! Can’t say enough good things about the property and management. My son fished all day. Our family played games. My daughter spent her 16th birthday here and wants to go back!

Perfect home in perfect setting

The home had everything you could want! We spent 4 nights there on a girls long weekend. We love to cook, and the kitchen was fully stocked equipment wise and also spices. The view of the river from the porches is breathtaking! Thank you Julie for sharing your beautiful home.

Amazing!

What an amazing historic home right on the river! SO fun to explore. My girlfriends & I had plenty of private sleeping rooms, nice comfortable beds and the kitchen was fully stocked. The outdoor kitchen was a bonus and we enjoyed a nice meal outside under the covered porch with the stars. We had a fabulous time on the river with the complimentary kayaks on site. There are Stunning views from 2 balcony’s. A great place to stay in Hunt, TX.

Great House, Beautiful River!

House was clean and charming and fit all our needs. The downstairs outdoor kitchen were where we enjoyed most of our meals. My kids loved exploring and climbing in the rapids, and also floating in the river!
