à propos de cet hébergement
Park Circle Guest Pad with Putting Green and Pool Table
Our guest house is a light filled and relaxing space with a treehouse vibe. It shares a fenced yard with the main house that features a putting green, bocce court, gas grill, and outdoor dining area. You'll also have access to our game room with a pool table, located below the guest house. The property is a short walk from Park Circle's many restaurants, breweries, bars, & parks, 10 mins from the airport, 15 mins from downtown Charleston, & 20 minutes from Charleston's best beaches. Upon booking you will receive a link to our custom area map with our best local recommendations. If there's something specific we can help you find or plan, please ask! We are local to the area and love playing tour guide!
The Space
The guest house is located behind a 1940's craftsman bungalow on the second floor above the detached garage, nestled among the oak trees. This soothing space has tons of character with original hardwood floors, door hardware and other touches. It features one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bathroom with a tub and shower, a full kitchen, and a living/dining area with a work desk and monitor as well as a very comfortable king-sized sleeper sofa.
INCLUDED WITH EACH STAY:
100% cotton bed linens and towels
High-speed internet/Wi-Fi
Coffee, tea, and sugar
Toilet paper and paper towels
Hotel quality shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body wash
Dish and laundry detergents
Hair dryer
Iron and ironing board
Cooking supplies and kitchenware
Please Note
When not traveling we live in the main house with our two friendly dogs, and we share the yard space and game room with our guests. We love meeting new people but are happy to give you your space if you prefer. However, if you are not comfortable with dogs this property may not be a good fit.
The LocationÂ
Located in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston, our house is an ideal place to stay when visiting the Charleston area for work or play. Park Circle is a friendly, eclectic neighborhood conveniently located a short drive from the airport, downtown Charleston, and the beaches (10 minutes to the airport, 12 minutes to the North edge of downtown, and 15-20 minutes to the beaches at Sullivans Island and Isle of Palms, to be more precise). Our diverse and open-minded neighborhood is experiencing an exciting revitalization and was named the âBrooklyn of South Carolinaâ by Thrillist. Â
Park Circle is an easily walkable area peppered with several parks, green spaces, and outdoor recreational areas, even its own disc golf course. Walk to the Farmerâs Market on Thursdays, take in a CrossFit or yoga class at Locomotion Fitness, or pick up some craft beers at the Brew Cellar. Be sure to visit Stems and Skins, our friendly neighborhood (James Beard nominated) wine bar and try some of our awesome local restaurants. You can walk or bike to Riverfront Park, located just outside of Park Circle on the Cooper River. Riverfront Park is home to the High Water Music Festival, hosts many other concerts and festivals throughout the year, and is a great spot for a picnic. The neighborhood is encircled by train tracks that service Charlestonâs port. The trains can create a fun memory for children; however, if you think the noise may bother you, you may want to consider staying in a different part of the Charleston area. Other than the occasional train horn, we think you will find the neighborhood peaceful and quiet.
