Situated on the Main Street in Park Circle you are just steps away from the well known restaurants and breweries that have made this neighborhood the best kept secret in Charleston. The newly built apartment features a vaulted ceiling in the great room with large modern windows and great views of the downtown. The space also features 2br/1ba and a full shared rooftop terrace with plenty of space for a quiet get away. Experience Charleston like a local! Clean property, situated in a beautiful town with many places to eat/drink within walking distance. Great communication with host, who was super helpful. We will definitely be returning.
This was a great 2 night pit stop for a couple of nights on our way to FL for spring break. Great food and a playground nearby for the kids, and easily accessible to both Charleston and the Interstate, to continue our trip south. Very comfortable for a family of 4.
We had a decent stay overallâthis place was clean and having a parking spot included was definitely a plus. However, I have to emphasize how very loud it is here at night. Thereâs a restaurant/bar/outdoor venue right next door, and they blast music almost every nightâwhether it's a weekday or weekend. Between live bands, karaoke, and loud rock music (lots of drums and bass), the noise is intense. It was so loud, we could clearly hearâand sing along toâevery single song from inside the apartment. This wouldn't have been such a big deal if we were out late or didnât have young children. But our toddler, who usually sleeps with a sound machine, was woken up several times each night because of the volume. The noise consistently went on until at least 11 PM, sometimes even later. It really impacted our ability to rest.Other notes: The beds felt smaller than advertised. Theyâre listed as queen size, but both felt more like fullsâdefinitely tighter than our queen bed at home, and a bit uncomfortable for two adults. There are also train tracks nearby. From the front bedroom, we could hear trains passing and honking in the early hours of the morningâaround 3:30 AM on some nights. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The place could also use an oven. We managed with the microwave, but an oven wouldâve made meal prep (like frozen pizza) a lot easier. All in all: clean space, convenient parking, but the nighttime noise is a major issue.
I was fairly familiar with the area after living there 7 years ago. I knew I didn't want to be in the hustle and bustle of downtown, so Park Circle was a good choice. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The condo was perfect for what we needed with 2 kids and 2 adults. We did wish that we had more kitchen items like a pot or two, but we made do with what we had to make some lunches and dinners. Over all, we had a great time and we would definitely choose to stay here again.
The owner allowed double booking. When we arrived at the property after many hours driving and with an infant we realized the property was occupied by others. We had to leave. The money was returned but it was a nightmare to find a new rental late at night. This is not the first time the owner has allowed double booking. See older reviews. Book under your own risk.
Couldnât have asked for a better location. Property is modern, clean and is located on the trendiest street of North Charleston with plenty restaurants. A few hiccups with check-in and communication but once resolved the stay was wonderful. Would definitely book again!
We drove over 200 miles to stay at this location only to find out the owner had doubled booked it making us scramble to find suitable arraignments from the weekend. We did eventually find a rather expensive resort 20 miles away to stay at. We missed one event scheduled for Friday night due to this irresponsible practice.
I would like to know VRBO's policy on reimbursement and compensation for the trouble caused by and money lost because of this happening.
Park Circle has everything you could possibly need. Its nicely decorated, good light. Lots of choices for dining out. All within walking distance. Evo was our favorite! There could be occasional traffic noise but we travel with a sound machine so never an issue.Over all nice & quiet. Park Circle is a great location & Nathan is excellent with communication. Check out MoMos riverfront park & restaurant right down the road. Very comfortable stay. I would recommend it & will definitely stay here again.
As a longtime Charleston resident we have enjoyed watching the Park Circle neighborhood turn into the the best kept secret in town. Enjoying the restaurants, coffee shops and surrounding neighborhood is one of our favorite past times in town.
With its central location in Charleston you can get almost anywhere in town in 20 minutes, beaches, the Peninsula, shopping, the airport and much more. But more importantly some of the best restaurants and breweries are within walking distance of this great condo.
