Summary: Stop! You have found the PERFECT home for your trip to Nashville!
Just renovated GORGEOUS bungalow originally built in 1920! Less than 2 miles from lower Broadway (all of the downtown bars and fun), this home is perfectly located and has all of the character in the world. Complete with groovy lava lamps through out the home and a 7" by 10" black light activated mural of Johnny Cash and Kacey Musgrave, this truly is the perfect setting for your amazing and unique adventure in Nashville!
The house is beautiful and clean. We used Uber to get around and most rides were under $15. The neighborhood leaves a little bit to be desired. Overall experience is good. I think electrical needs updated in some rooms as I got shocked on an outlet.
Owner was responsive to messages.
We LOVED this property! The house is so clean and cute! Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Check in and check out are so easy and Julian is very responsive. 10 out of 10 would recommend and I would love to stay here, again.
A comfortable place to stay in an up and coming neighborhood
The property is essentially a renovated bungalow-style house with 2 bedrooms and a modest bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable. The large living room/entry has a stylish setup with a big TV. The wifi was great and I was able to get a reasonable amount of work done on the large coffee table. I did suggest to the host that they update the desk so it works a little better with a laptop. The kitchen has everything you'd need, but I went out for just about everything. It was pretty cheap and easy to get an Uber to downtown with it being so close and the neighborhood is very walkable.
The neighborhood has some really cool places - I walked to Redheaded Stranger (5 min) and enjoyed some tacos and to All People, (20 min walk) for coffee and a light breakfast. I also went for a run at McFerrin Park, just a few blocks away. It has a decent loop so you can avoid street crossings. I'd say the area is transitional but I never felt unsafe and I think any traveler following common sense is probably going to be fine.
I usually stay at hotels - this was the closest thing to where some friends were staying and I had a lot of work I brought with me. Overall, it was a great experience. I think if you filled the place up the small bathroom would be something to consider, but I'd stay here again if I ended up in Nashville.
We had a great stay! The host was more than helpful and quick to respond. We were with a few 21 year old girls so naturally they were all about the photo ops and this house had all sorts of cool vibes for their selfies :)
Quick lyft/uber ride to downtown and the airport. We did have multiple drivers tell us to not walk around at night though so heads up on that. Kitchen had pretty much all the necessary utensils and whatnot. Tip: if you aren't too picky about your booze, the gas station just a few blocks away has beer and liquor so don't waste your money getting it delivered if you don't need to! Thanks Julian for the great stay! We appreciate you!
My mother and my daughter stayed at this home for a 4-day girls trip. We had a blast and the house was so beautiful and well maintained, the neighborhood was very quiet and it was a very peaceful way to end crazy days of sightseeing!
