Modernism comes alive in our 3BR/2BA Palm Springs house. Pop Art pieces and the homeowner's original sculpture pop up all over this house, including the fabulous saltwater pool and hot tub area with a mural climbing the wall. Close to everything downtown has to offer, including the shopping on famous North Canyon Drive!

INSIDE THE HOUSE

It's easy to see why this distinctive house was on the Palm Springs Modernism Tour three years ago.

If you love art, you'll appreciate the curvy entry made from stainless steel squares that wrap around to the open kitchen and serve as part of the backsplash area, reflecting light from different angles.

The open living space, from the striking coffee table to the leather couches, provides space for 6 to hang out and watch the flat screen TV or grab a book off the bookshelves.

The kitchen is distinctive, with frosted cupboards and stainless appliances. Have cocktail hour at both a bespoke breakfast bar that seats 4 and a glass dining table for 4 more.

Three bedrooms sleep 6 guests. The master has a king, while the two other bedrooms have queens. All feature work-of-art details like fabric headboards and original paintings and sculpture. The master en suite bath has a side door entry to the pool/patio, so you can sneak out for midnight dips.

The second bathroom is just newly updated with a nice walk-in shower.

But we saved the best for last: the whole backside of the open concept house is glass.

A wall of windows and patio doors overlook the simply divine saltwater pool and patio area, and tall hedges make the space completely private. Not to be overlooked is the hot tub at the side of the house, great for unwinding after a hike in the desert (or a long day of shopping).

From early morning coffee on the patio to twilight around the pool, you will have an unforgettable experience at this one-of-a-kind artist's home.

Lovely little modern home

This super cute house was in a great location between airport and downtown. It was very well-appointed, with a nice, private pool. We appreciated the layout of the home which made it feel spacious for ourselves and our (grown) children to enjoy time together as well as have some privacy. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Palm Springs getaway home!

We booked a girls' weekend for 4. The house is close to everything in Palm Springs... < 10 minutes to the airport, and just a few minutes to Palm Canyon Drive, the aerial tram, and other attractions. We loved the art & decor -- so mid-century modern and colorful! The house had everything we could need or want -- a great yard for hanging out, well-appointed kitchen, fire pit, plenty of towels and comfy beds. Much of the art, we discovered during our stay, was created by the home's owner. We didn't choose to pay to heat the pool, and it was pretty chilly in mid-November. I jumped in, but didn't linger. The hot tub was a great option for afternoon lounging. We all loved the house and said we would happily stay there again.

We loved the property! The house fit 5 of us perfectly. The pool was lots of fun. The artwork is amazing inside and outside! Proximity to everything we wanted to see was perfect. Would stay here again.

"Absolutely fantastic stay! This Palm Springs oasis exceeded our expectations. The pool was divine, perfect for lounging in the sun all day. It was comfortable and not too sterile. The AC had been frozen by previous occupants and the property mgr took care of it in a timely manner. The haphazard manner in the way things were arranged made it a bit like it was thrown together just for a quick rental...but really, it was fine.

Weekend getaway

Had a great weekend getaway with friends. The house was perfect! Very easy to access and exactly like the pictures. Loved the modern yet retro feel of the home. The pool was wonderful and the hot tub was a plus at night. My only issue would be that we had a hard time trying to figure out how to turn it off or on. There were instructions but they’re difficult to understand. Other than that we all had an amazing time and can’t wait to visit again!

Great House but some issues with cleanliness

Great house for a couple or small group. Location is good, biking distance to downtown. Bed very comfortable. Inside is spotless. Agree with previous reviews mentioning the cleanliness of the jacuzzi. Very dirty. Don't think the pool guy even checked it when he visited during our stay. Though the listing does mention no cable TV, you can't even get local Palm Springs news without logging into your personal YouTube TV account. Just an FYI for older renters who may not be as media savvy as others.

Short spring break stay - March 2024

Property was very clean except for the hot tub. When I texted the manager he was very responsive and sent someone to clean it the next day. Overall communication with Vacasa was poor though. I have rented many properties through Vrbo. Never dealt with vacasa…their response time on my emails before we arrived took several days to a week. Our check in person had no knowledge of the property, when I asked him where the washer dryer was he said the home didn’t have one. My husband reread the Vrbo write up and we then found it in the garage. I texted our check in manager and told him we had found it. Never heard from him again, no apology. Great location, close to downtown and close to a park. Overall a nice rental, fully equipped kitchen and tastefully decorated. Not sure what % the owners pay vacasa but there are def better management co’s in PS

Some issues, but great backyard and location

Pros: The house was a great size for a family of 4. We liked the proximity to downtown and the backyard was excellent. The inside of the house was pretty clean when we arrived. Cons: There was no time between renters so the previous group, who appeared to be there for Coachella, generated a lot of garbage. The bins were overflowing with garbage blowing all over the yard for us to pick up. If you have kids, beware the pool surface is quite rough, so they ended up with raw fingers and toes from playing. Know the backyard is pretty noisy. The fire station is nearly right behind the house and calls were pretty regular. Planes were also loud. Between those and the wind, I really had no concerns anyone could take issue with noise from my kids playing. We had a 7am wake-up from a utilities employee, saying he needed to check the gas. Because the garage doesn’t open and we had no gate code, we had to let him through the home. Later the same day another utilities employee needed to come through again to fix a gas leak. We really should have been given a heads up about about anyone coming into the home.

Cute house with amazing pool. Terrible rental agency.

The property is everything you want in Palm Springs. I didn’t realize til after booking that the property is managed by Turnkey vacation rental agency. Pretty disappointed by this as I’m used to communicating with an owner for these types of rentals. The agency was not flexible at all in the very late 4pm check in and very early 10 am check out times. I received a series of text messages from the agency prior to the stay informing me that if early check in or late check out were available they would let me know the day of and that there’s no need to call to request this. The day of check in I was informed via text that early check in was not available. I called the agency anyway because the messages were definitely automated. After a brief time on hold I was told that early check in was not available because the owner doesn’t allow it. I asked if they were cleaning right up until 4 and they agent said no but he was not capable of authorizing it in their system. Summary: gorgeous house but there are plenty of beautiful homes in Palm Springs. Next time I’ll be looking more closely at who’s managing the property and avoid this agency in the future.

What a mess...

I am only giving this property two stars and that is because of the property itself. The interior was clean and the kitchen well appointed. There were small misc. things but that is what you should expect living in someone else’s home. My biggest issue was with Turnkey. I rent houses in Palm Springs many times a year for the past ten years. I have rented from individuals and other rental companies. In fact, the weekend before I rented a place down the street from this property from another rental company. I will tell you that I have always looked past minor things and given great reviews on these properties. I understand things are going to happen, communication needs to happen, and there are rules we must follow to avoid fines and evictions. I get it…trust me. I rented from Turnkey last year and did not have any of these issues. I will think twice before renting from Turnkey again. To start, the correspondence from them is borderline harassment. Since I booked this rental, I have had sixteen e-mails, four texts from one number, and two from another number – a total of 20 correspondences. When I texted back one number about an issue the person told me I had to call another number because she was not the property manager. Good grief! I get it but why not just have a one-person deal with the communication on these properties and coordinate the issues. Once I checked in, they started texting me about the cleanliness of the place. For their cleaning staff to get bonuses you must text back within in a certain time frame. Tacky. They advertise an above-ground jacuzzi but when we went to use the jacuzzi it looked like it had not been cleaned in quite a while. There was sand in the bottom, dirty scum around the watermark, murky water, and it smelled. I asked it to be serviced but they could only come at noon on Saturday, our only full day at the place and prime time for the pool. I did decline the jacuzzi service explaining that noon is prime pool time and we didn’t want the intrusion, so we were not able to use the jacuzzi. Gross. It was a house full of women that weekend and we just didn’t feel comfortable. The next day we got up, made breakfast, and were embarking on our day of laying and playing in the pool. Everything was going fine till an aggressive representative from Turnkey was pounding and screaming at the front door. It was noon, we were outside in the pool, as I had told another person from that company when we ta

Great home and neighborhood!

We had a wonderful time at this home. Very cozy yet vibrant house with a nice salt water pool and a great hot tub. Plenty of towels and other necessities. Beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place

Very private and quiet. Secluded back yard with an amazing pool and hot tub. The beds were very comfortable. Loved the kitchen and the stove was great! There was a grill we used as well. Couldn’t give the place a better review. Only thing that I can complain about is the pool light and hot tub light were burned out. Other than that I have no complaints. Highly recommend as a place to stay.

Very good but room for improvement

The house and pool were very nice but the hot tub did not work and one of the bedrooms smelled a little cigarette-y. That same bedroom did not have a mirror. Just a few travel size shampoos and conditioners also felt skimpy for a house with a pool. I wouldn’t be sour about it if extras were stored in the bathroom. Outside of those downsides the house was well decorated, clean, and had almost everything we needed in the kitchen. The pool was great for swimming.

The house, and especially the backyard, were so lovely we ended up spending a lot less time sightseeing than we’d planned and a lot more time at the pool! Basically everything we needed was there, from pitchers to towels to shampoo. Highly recommend.

Family time

Perfect set up with adult children. Outdoor space is fantastic. Kitchen/living room area is very comfortable. Noise restrictions could make things difficult for younger children.
