Enjoy our waterfront Lakehouse. Whether you are sitting on the top deck of the boat dock, fishing, sitting on the back porch, watching the fireflies fly, or enjoying a fire around the fire pit. You are always welcome and our guests to relax and enjoy.

Everything was nice and clean. The house is beautiful and very well stocked. It was close to an event we were attending. Sunrise from the pier was absolutely amazing! My only small complaint is the WIFI was terrible but we didn't spend much time on our phones anyway.

Annual family getaway

This home is perfect. Many open spaces to sit and visit, including the roomy living room, the palatial patio, the boat house, and then there's the lake side bar area and fire pit. Our family of 10 had plenty of sleeping room too. The house has everything you need and is well kept. Thanks, Chip & Julie for sharing with us.

Great getaway!

Very nice and clean property. Literally has everything you need, so many extras. Kids had a great time with the hot tub and the games. The owners are very nice and responsive if you need anything at all. Overall, wonderful stay and hope to be able to return again soon!

last minute spring break get away

relazing, peaceful still kind of chilly for Texas but nice to snuggle in jaccuzy a plus. patio was whimsical, boat dock amazing, brought out some blankets to the perch and star gazed. Clean spacious well appointed, Chip and Julie very good hosts, yes we will go back someday soon.

Perfect!

This is our fourth stay and it was perfect, as always! Clean property with Great Lake access. Even with rain on day one our stay was excellent. Communication from the owner was spot on (again). Highly recommend!

Amazing Getaway

The home was beautiful, clean and spacious. We loved the peir where several in the group spent alot of time catching fish. And just relaxing on the back porch watching the Texas and OU game. Our host were friendly and alit of help! available to help exactly when needed.!

Great water front house on Tawakoni

This is our second time staying at this house. We really enjoy the waterfront for fishing and hanging out at night. House has everything we need. Great communication with owner. We are already talking about booking again.

Wonderful retreat

The VRBO listing pics do not do this place justice. The property is beautiful and the house is charming. It was the perfect weekend getaway. The host was so sweet and the house is equipped with everything you could think of. Highly recommend.

Great Lake House

We had a really good time here. Really nice house that is well managed and maintained. You can tell the owners put alot of work into it. Big yard, Big dock and plety of outdoor seating. The fishing was pretty good, the kids caught lots of fish. Owners are very nice and responsive. Great place for a family to enjoy the lake.

Absolutely Perfect

The hosts have made this lakehouse absolutely perfect. The house has plenty of roomy spaces, fantastic views, and more amenities than you'll ever need. They really thought of everything. The kids jumped in the lake and actually caught a couple of fish! We just chilled and enjoyed a very relaxing time. Thank you for sharing your home!

This is the best property we have stayed at on the lake. The owners are so nice and accommodating. This property has everything you need. The house is beautiful and well kept. Inside and out. The boat dock is the same. We will be coming back hopefully year after year. This is a perfect family home.

Great family trip

We were able to stay in this great property for the total solar eclipse. It was a wonderful place to stay as a family and enjoy time together. Julie was very respnsive and helpful. Wish we lived closer so that we could come back more often!

Best place ever!

This house was perfect for our mini vacation, couldn't ask for more. So much space, everything thing was so organized and clean. Such a beautiful home. Fishing dock was my favorite part, guaranteed big fish all day. Definitely not going to be my last time going there. Owner responded super quick and answered all my questions I had. Highly recommend

Winter Camp

Great house great location lots of room beautiful back porch and yard only thing you need to bring is food. They have everything from trash bags and zip lock bag to all the pots and pans you would ever need and more than enough linens. If I could change anything about this house it would be less family pictures.

Chip and myself are locals. Growing up on lake Tawakoni. Chip graduated high school from Wills Point and I graduated from Terrell. Not going to tell you our age but we do have grands! We love to fish, water ski and snow ski.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Since we both grew up on this lake we wanted a lakehouse. We bought The Lakehouse and decided we would rather live at the lake rather in town, so we built our dream home and settled here and welcome family and friends always.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Our Lakehouse is in deep water so the fishing is great. Lake Tawakoni is the number 1 catfishing lake in Texas. We have a double decker boat dock with an electric light ft. Did I mention the beautiful sunrises and sunsets? We have a pavilion by the water with music, an ice machine and 10 chairs to sit with a granite bar top to enjoy any eating or your favorite beverage while watching the waves hit the retaining wall. If you want to remain on the back porch you can watch the water from there and watch your favorite show on tv or listen to music while grilling a steak or making fajitas on the grills provided for you.
