À propos de cet hébergement

Cette petite maison rustique a beaucoup de charme. Une grande cour arrière fournit un endroit amusant pour les enfants à jouer et à avoir ce feu de camp spécial avec smores. Jeux extérieurs et intérieurs fournis. De grands arbres et un bassin de jardin rempli de poissons dorés et une fontaine font de la promenade autour de la maison un régal pour tous. Profitez des chaises à bascule ou des bancs à l’intérieur des porches. Toujours approvisionné en café, chocolat chaud, sandwichs pour le petit-déjeuner, maïs soufflé, boissons fraîches et condiments pour la cuisine. Très bien chauffé et refroidi pour l'hébergement toute l'année. Il y a des rampes de navigation à l'entrée de la communauté à Duck Cove Rd. Off 751. C'est l'accès le plus proche au lac. Grande pêche à deux parcs à proximité, Tawakoni State Park et Red Park. Si vous n'avez pas de bateau, vous pouvez en louer un aux marinas, juste à côté de la route 751, ou au lac Tawakani, à la route 276. Nous pouvons fournir des kayaks, canoës et cannes à pêche sur demande.

Comfy and Cozy

Stayed here with four teenage girls for a birthday slumber party. The house was cozy, comfortable and clean. The kids had a good time and there were a lot of games available for them to play. The neighhood was quiet and felt safe. The owner was very nice and very helpful. Would recommend. Thank You 😊

Enjoyable

We had a bad fishing weekend because of the wind,but the house is stocked with everything I was told. It's very quiet. Very clean. Fire pit, charcoal grill, gas grill. Plenty of indoor and outdoor furniture. We had six men take a shower all in a row and never ran out of hot water. Those are what I care about. Two thumbs up.

Great Little Spot With FISHING!

We had a great time. Ben is a great host. Lots of games, indoor and outdoor available for all ages. TV and internet both work great. Will definitely book here again.

Relaxing getaway

We had a relaxing couple of days here - enjoyed the games, Frisbee by the lake, fire pit etc. The owner has definitely made updates in most of the rooms but not all. If it's chilly, be prepared that one restroom is off the front porch (but has a heater in it). The upper deck above the house was a treat for the kids.

Scenic and Great Getaway

Weekend stay was perfect for breaking away from society with family and spend time grilling, games, and outdoors! Ben was great on recommending activites and making sure we had everything needed! Highly recommend!

They say was amazing the home owner went above and beyond for us. Location was great the house was great and if you miss the country stay there it was just that. We really enjoyed the stay and will do it again.

Definitely older and rustic but close to the lake and what we were looking for. Ben was a gracious and attentive host that made are stay that much more enjoyable.

Nice house

The house simple, but very cozy and has everything you need for living. We loved nature there, especially birds songs. The big tree provides shade and comfortable temperature in and near the house.

Quiet GetAway

We enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere of the backyard. It is private and the outdoor area is a great place to hang out and let the pets run free. There is covered parking, two screened porches with a swing and rocker on the front porch. It was lovely listening to the song birds as we sat outside, beside a fire watching our dogs play in the leaves. The house is cozy and the bathroom is updated. The kitchen has all the utencils needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. Wish we could have stayed longer. Ben is a great host who is easily reached and responds quickly to text and phone messages. He was very helpful and accomodating, helping us to schedule our weekend getaway. When we return to the Lake Tawakoni area we will surely look to see if this property is available. It is affordable, we give it two thumbs up!! Thanks Ben!! God Bless!!

Great little house

Had a great time, house was perfect! no its nothing fancy which was perfect as we spent most of our time on the lake or in the back yard. house had everything needed to make our stay e joyable without having to bring our whole kitchen of go to the store to buy stuff. to top it all off Ben was amazing! called the morning of with the instructions and a list of things to do on or near the lake! also had a great selection of DVDs to watch

Grandma's house

Nothing pretentious in the property's description. If you don't find something here 'like' at your Grandma's house at Ben's property then I'm so so so sorry for you. Everything isn't for everybody so if this isn't your cup of tea I was taught by my mother and grandmother 'if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all, they'd say shut your mouth. But again the description says it, it is what it is!!??!. Communication with the property owner was wonderfully easy, timely and enjoyable. To sum up our stay I Googled it LOLHehe "" nos·tal·gia"" a sentimental longing or wistful affection for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations. "I was overcome with acute nostalgia for my days 'OF SITTING ON A SCREENED IN PORCH'!!!! Thanks for the experience. And oh by the way, the fishing anywhere at Tawakani is always great, even when we don't catch anything. See ya again soon.

Fish hut

The property is a fishing hut and is great for that! But my family is a more bogie then this place. The property needs a bit of fixing up, the ceiling is hanging down over the tv area. One bed was broken bathroom vanity was broken just needs bit of work and repairs. Owner was super nice and left water and snacks for us. So I can't say it's extremely bad but not our up of tea.

HORRIBLE! MOLD! FILTHY!

We were not even able to stay at property due to the MOLD, the grass was grown up, spider webs everywhere, we had to knock them down to even get inside the house. The KOI Pond was empty and full of dirt and leaves and NO fish like described. There was no Sodas or waters in the fridge like was mentioned. Dust was so thick on everything, This house was not stayable. Contacted the owner and he is not professional at all, he laughed about the situation. He ended up only refunding not even half of our payment, even though we had to leave and find a hotel room cause it was so bad, we werent even at the house for 20 minutes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE!!!!

Dallas w/the Family

We absolutely loved it. It was a perfect fit for our group. We loved the yard and all the relaxation. The lake was gorgeous as well. I got some great sunset shots. All the movies that are there were like we had picked them out ourselves, seriously, we have a lot of the exact same ones at home. So they were family favorites and we really enjoyed being able to spend that quality time together. Everything was great....would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It was big enough for family and friends but small enough that it did not require to much maintenance. Has a great HOA that looks out for everyone's home. Nice neighbors I can contact at anytime. Private park for family & guests to use.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Large trees that cover house and screened in porches with rocking bench and chairs allow you to unwind in peace or go to sleep on the large hammock. A large fire pit with chairs around it in backyard for grilling hot dogs or smores makes for special moments.
