After a day on the lake or slopes head back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub or enjoy the sunset from the upper deck before heading to one of the many restaurants/ bars within walking distance.
Don't worry about parking, finding a taxi or booking one of the few Ubers in the area after a night out on the town. Our cabin is walking distance to the lake, The Village (restaurants, bars, shops), trailheads, Alpine Slides and much more!

Lakewood Den is a 1100 sq ft. warm cozy cabin with two fireplaces and a hot tub. Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset through the trees from the upper patio and then star gaze from the hot tub.
Lakewood Den was a popular 5 Star rental prior to being remodeled in late 2020 and then put back on the rental market.

Things To Know:
- Pet Friendly! We allow up to 2 dogs ( $75 per pet)
- You must walk up 8 easy steps to get to our front door and inside up 14 steps to get to the bedrooms (see photos).
- Heater: a gas wall heater is located in the living room with vents in each bedroom.
- Main bedroom contains one queen bed, wood burning fireplace, smart TV with Sling TV, dresser, closet, luggage rack, portable floor fan and portable floor heater.
- Second bedroom contains one queen bed, smart TV with Sling TV, dresser, closet, luggage rack, portable floor fan and portable floor heater.
- Sofa folds out to a full size bed with a memory foam mattress in the living room.
- Bath: 1 full bath (tub/shower) upstairs and 1 half bath downstairs. Both have a blow dryer.
- Fireplaces: there are wood burning fireplaces in the living room and main bedroom.
- Upper Deck, enjoy a glass of wine on the upper deck while watching the sunset through the trees.
- Back Deck, has a table and seating for 6, a bar-b-q, snow shovel/brooms and a hot tub. Hot tub fits 4 people.
- Front Deck, has a bench for 2.
- Barbecue: gas (propane), bar-b-q tools located above microwave in kitchen. Please clean bar-b-q and tools when done using.
- Televisions: all rooms contain an HD smart television with SlingTV and the ability to log-in to all of your streaming services (ie. Netflix, Hulu, Prime video).
- DVD Player: connected to the living room TV so you can enjoy a movie while laying next to the fireplace.
- WiFi: High-speed
- Washer/Dryer is located in the downstairs bathroom.
- Kitchen: fridge, 24" gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, bucket sink, tea pot, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker, magic bullet blender and all the cookware/utensils/baking items you will need.
- Board Games: an array of board games for adults and children.
- Iron & Ironing Board in hall closet.
- Entry codes changed regularly.

****We cannot grant access to the cabin until the rental agreement is signed with the Good Neighbor Brochure - please note no code will be sent earlier than 4pm and only with the signed agreement per the City of Big Bear Lake****
Parking: The City of Big Bear Lake limits Parking to a maximum of 2 vehicles for the house. No Street Parking is allowed in any residential neighborhood.
All trash must be taken off-site per Big Bear Lake rules that will be emailed to you or it is $25 per bag left behind.
All occupants must be disclosed as Big Bear Lake is strict on occupancy and vehicles you cannot exceed either or it is subject to immediate eviction without refund and $200 per person over occupancy.
No music per Big Bear is allowed on the property line and Spa hours are prohibited between the hours of 10pm-8am per our permit and City rules.
Village distance: 7 minutes away from the home.
Slope distances: Snow Summit is 10 minutes away from the home. Bear Mountain Ski Resort is 13 minutes away from the home.
We have high chairs and pack n plays available at our office for rent for a fee of $25 per day for each or as a packaged deal, please notify us in advance if you would like to rent these during your stay.
To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.
If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.
Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.
Refundable security deposit hold collected 2 days prior to check-in (excluding Airbnb reservations).
Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.
(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.
(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.
(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.
(5) Trash - All trash must be removed offsite to the free trash sites. Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or outside is subject to a $25 per bag for removal this is not our rule - this is the law and we must abide by it as there is no trash service due to wild animals. Please do not review us based on the law. We provide a dump service if you should want to pay in advance, but we have to send a dump service we cannot have housekeepers take the trash as the CITY does not allow this.
(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use.
