Our COBB ISLAND, MD get a way is just 1 hour and 15 minutes from DC, 1 hour and 45 minutes from Baltimore and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Richmond! When you need to relax and get a way this is the place!

This two bedroom two bath cottage with WIFI includes a primary en-suite bedroom with a queen size bed and flat screen TV with cable. . The second bedroom is on the second floor and includes a full size bed, a twin bed and a flat screen TV with roku. Both bathrooms are on the first floor. Enjoy game time or a movie on the flat screen smart TV in the living room with warmth of a pellet stove.

We have a fully equipped kitchen, with all new appliances to make your stay enjoyable.

Relax on a rocking chair on the back deck. Read a book in the enclosed front porch or have a cocktail in the tasting room.

Backyard fire pit for those chilly evenings! Signed waiver / agreement required before use. A few pieces of starter wood are provided. Charge of $1.00 per each additional piece of wood. If bringing your own wood the waiver and agreement is still required but you also must comply with local and state laws for firewood crossing any state line.

If golf is your game, Swan Point County Club is only 5 miles away with dining and golf open to the public.

The Cove at Cobb Island, Scuttlebutts, Captain Charles and Captain John’s, The Rivah, Ledo Pizza and the marinas are all a short walk. Sorry, this is NOT a beach community.

The market on Cobb Island and Dollar General are open.

The cleaning fee for any bookings 14 days and over is $200.

Thanksgiving

We love this cottage! Its the 3rd time we have stayed here for Thanksgiving. My daughters in-laws live on the island and we spend the holiday with them. Its perfect for what we need. Well stocked and convenient to the other house. We had a visit from "Ramona" the local Emu this trip! We also had an engagement!

Perfect Getaway

Property was very clean and comfortable. Was the perfect location for a nearby wedding and within close proximity to DC, the Chesapeake Bay area and Gettysburg! We really enjoyed our time in the area.

Adorable Cottage

My husband and I had the best time in Cobb Island. The cottage was absolutely amazing. Every detail was thought of. We had a wedding to go to, and I was so worried we would not have an iron or a hairdryer, but we had both. Full kitchen, with a coffee pot and a Keurig. All of the information before arrival was so helpful. We were able to stop at the grocery store on the way in to get everything we needed. The area felt so peaceful and calm. We had a wonderful time checking out, Captain John’s, and walking around the neighborhood. We learned how to crack blue crabs. Lisa was the absolute best answering any questions that we had. We definitely hope to go back one day.:)

Short Stay

We had a very short stay. We were in the area for a wedding at The Pavilion at Weatherly. This home was very convenient to the wedding venue. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Summer Getaway

We spend a few days at Lisa's house for a quick summer getaway. We had a wonderful time. Communication with Lisa was excellent. The house is in a great location. A quiet neighborhood without much traffic which allowed us to walk around and explore later in the day. We were also able to drive around the surrounding areas and explore some other coastal towns nearby. The house had everything we needed to prepare a variety of meals during our stay. It was a pleasure coming back to the house each night to sit back and relax.

Awesome quiet cottage

Cobb Island is a quiet community away from the traffic and city hubbub. The cottage is well equipped, clean and convenient. Great local restaurants and atmosphere. We were visiting our grandson stationed nearby. Reasonably close to Mt Vernon and DC areas. The property was an excellent location for our needs.

Wonderful engagement weekend!

We had a wonderful time at this cottage and Cobb Island. The cottage was delightful and worked out great for our annual New Year’s Eve getaway. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a quick but lovely trip to Cobb Island to visit family. The cottage was just as pictured and the bed was extremely comfy! Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Cobb Island!

Island adventure

This property & host exceeded our expectations. We had a 2 night mini vacation & enjoyed every minute. The cottage was perfect, clean and in good order. We were close to a few restaurants and had the best crab cakes at Scuttlebutts. A short drive to Colonial Beach for lunch overlooking the water was a wonderful experience.

Weekend getaway

House is even better than described. Owners have thought of everything that a guest could need. Less than 30 minutes to Budds creek for dirtbike racing and Spartan Obstacle course races.

Family Reunion

My partner and I were visiting Cobb island for a family reunion and decided to get our own accommodations. Lisa’s place was clean, convenient, and the perfect get away from my large family over the long weekend. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cobb Island!
