This cute little cottage was perfect for 2 of us and our dog. It was decorated coastal and everything was just the right size. We loved the screened in porches and spent a lot of time enjoying them. We will definitely stay there again.

Perfect for a Couple

Amazing use of square footage to provide everything a couple could use for a getaway. Owners have great taste and decorations give it a beach vibe. Conveniently located at the Point and walking distance to bars and restaurants. Would stay here again.

It was exactly what I was looking for in a quiet get away. The hosts make sure guests have what is needed in the kitchen, generous bath linens, comfortable sleeping all with a beach coast flair. I rented a golf cart for two days, it is the best way to get around, parking fees apply to cars. Restaurants, tiki's and shops are locally owned. First time visit to Colonial Beach, I will return.

You MUST stay at this quaint cottage!

This is a perfect cottage for a couple or a small family. It’s small and has every accommodation you need. It’s on Colonial Beach’s pointe, so just a short walk to the water. It’s adorable whale theme gives it a beachy feel. VERY clean, has fresh linens and comfortable furniture. We will definitely stay again when we come back to visit our family!!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the Might as Whale bungalow. Wonderfully decorated and with a comfortable bed, our stay was delightful. It was clean & had quality appliances. The screened-in porches were inviting, the walk to the water was short and the hosts were flexible & super responsive. Definitely recommend.

This cottage was wonderful for a long weekend getaway. My husband and I enjoyed walking our lab along the water and around the town. Everyone that we met was very nice and welcoming. The cottage is adorable and had everything that we needed. We are looking forward to returning again in the future.

I always like visiting tourist towns in the winter. We had a really great stay. The house was spotless and had a very recent renovation. We visited family during the day and walked along the river in the evening. I would definitely recommend this location during any season.

Minor exceptions - no hair dryer and bed was too soft for our comfort. Met neighbor who was very helpful in our figuring out the access code and congenial.

Beautiful stay!

Wonderful home, courteous home owner, excellent customer service through Evolve. The home was clean and comfortable with all of the little extras you might need when traveling or you may have forgotten. The design of the home was a great use of space and really cozy beach vibes. The porch and backyard areas were a fun surprise and my little dog did not want to leave the porch. Colonial Beach has many great restaurants and home has convenient access to beautiful river beaches and bayside shoreline. The area is well taken care of and there are many places to visit and activities to do. Wish we could have stayed longer but the weekend trip was totally worth it!!!

I couldn’t have asked for anything more for my three day stay in Colonial Beach. If anything could have been added, maybe a washer/dryer. However, I over packed anyway and didn’t actually need them. They are just the only items not available.
