Welcome to this completely newly updated (June, 2019) ocean view 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 1-story, 1400 sq. ft. beach cottage with walkability to Carlsbad Village (0.8 miles), and Tamarack Beach, 0.9 miles away. STVR Permit # BLRE006060



This delightful ocean view home is comfort and beauty unlimited - inside and out with a beautiful landscape.



A unique feature of this home is the outdoor living space which includes multiple fruit trees, a lush green lawn, and a patio for sunning or grilling, that spans the entire side yard. Relax in the outdoor dining space with a fire pit watching the western sky at sunset.



LEGOLAND, if is on your bucket list, is just a short distance away, as is freeway access that makes it easy to drive south and enjoy the many world-class attractions of the greater San Diego area - including, but not limited to - The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, and SeaWorld.



Arrive and stop for a moment to enjoy the creative serene, landscaping of the front yard. The talk of the neighborhood - as it gives the home a modern, chic feel.



Enter the home and be greeted by a spacious great room that offers the opportunity to gather in multiple areas – making it a grand entertainment and gathering area. There are 2 comfortable seating clusters, both with lots of comfortable seating and a large flat screen TV. One also has a fireplace and slider access to the beautiful serene lawn.



A beautifully updated modern kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and 4 high-top stools at the kitchen counter. An additional breakfast nook in the kitchen makes it easy for everyone to eat and commune together inside. Just add the food and camaraderie and have fun.



The master king bedroom has sliders to the outside, a flat screen TV, and an ensuite shower with a large walk in shower. The 2nd bedroom, also with slider access to the outside, has a queen bed and a flat screen TV. The 3rd bedroom has a full (double) bed, so this home comfortably sleeps 6 in beds with a maximum occupancy of 7.



There is a shared hallway bath with a shower/tub combination and also a half bath for your convenience. All bed and bathrooms are furnished with an ample supply of premiere linens to ensure your ultimate comfort.
Additional amenities include WIFI and cable, air conditioning, a washer and dryer for your convenience, and 2 garage parking spaces as well as 2 driveway parking spaces.

Great location, home with all the amenities you would want and a fantastic backyard!

The backyard had excellent space for our kids and dog! The whole family romped around indoors and outdoors through the large sliders freely during the entire stay! The grass was perfect - we were barefoot the entire time! There were apricot, peach and orange trees! We picked a few apricots and they were ripe and delicious! Loved how close to the beaches we were and everything was basically a short drive or walk away. Driveway parking was spacious for our large vehicle! We had access to the garage but didn’t use it. The Vons across the street was great as well as the Starbuck that was across the highway. AC and the hot water was excellent! We will want to return to this location again! Thank you!

PERFECT STAY FOR A FAMILY TRIP

We stayed at this VRBO for our son’s 4th birthday trip, and it was the perfect home base for our adventures! We visited Legoland, SeaWorld, and the San Diego Zoo, and everything was just a short drive away. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully updated. The big backyard gave our little one plenty of room to run around, and the whole space felt comfortable and inviting. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to families looking for a convenient and relaxing place to stay!

Large enough for everyone to have their own space. Outdoor space is fantastic for a dog to sniff and play without the danger of escaping. Good location, safe to walk or run, close to the 5, and only a few minute drive downtown.

Nice large clean house, the kitchen and living room are huge and open. The house is white and bright. Fit 7 of us really well. About a 3 minute drive to the beach. New and updated bath and kitchen.

Awesome Beach Bungalow

We loved our stay in Carlsbad. The home was clean and spacious. The yard was well-maintained and big enough for the kids and dogs to play. We really enjoyed the chef's kitchen and outdoor area. I would suggest that the kitchen include a few more items: a cookie sheet/baking pan, foil or plastic wrap, bowls, and more kitchen towels. We always love to clean before we leave, so having a Swiffer or light vacuum would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to be invited back.

Wonderful house

We had the best time staying at this house with 3 adults and 2 small children, and will definitely recommend this house to anyone who asks! It was super modern, clean, and was an open concept which is great with children. The backyard had a nice patio with a table and lights and a nice grass area for my kids to play. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bedroom with the tv does get pretty warm at night, even with the A/C but the fan provided was helpful with keeping it more comfortable! The house does come with some beach equipment which is a plus! The parking garage was too small to fit the Toyota Sienna minivan we rented but it fit perfectly fine in the driveway. It is off of a very busy street, so there is some street noise you can hear but it wasn’t bad at all. If we ever visit Carlsbad area again, we will definitely look into renting this house again!!

Graduation Weekend

The house was very clean, the one thing was a strong pet odor on the couch. We had to clean it, seemed to help. Something we noticed or we didn’t know how to work properly was the oven took a very long time to heat. The rest of the stay was great beautiful house.

This was a very nice home in a convenient location to a grocery store but on a very busy road. Traffic made it challenging to get out of the drive, but street noise was a non-issue. It had a great backyard for our dog and again very well maintained. It could have used some new/additional glasses as we were constantly hand washing them to keep up with our crew. The gas grill would not light and there was no lighter or matches, so we had to get creative to get it lit. Once lit, it worked great. Overall, a nice stay and would definitely stay here again.

Nice, but with issues.

Property not really ready for occupancy. Stove had burner problem, 2 car garage not cleared adequately, missing light bulbs, ice dispenser didn’t work, tv controls not easily used, garage side door deadbolt can’t be locked, to name some problems. Very difficult driving out of driveway due to busy street. Slow response from management for problem solving. We were not there for vacation but because our house had water pipe leakage and was under repair. Location terrific, nice ocean view, and very nice house. Probably great for short term vacationers. Would have been better if we could have checked place out before committing to rent.

The house was nice and Clean, beds comfortable, plenty of room for a dog and 6 adults, A very roomy kitchen to cook and prepare meals. Disappointed that the kitchen was not stocked with basic cleaning supplies, dish rags and Tupperware for food. The fire pit & garage opener did not work, so therefore was unable to enjoy both features. Cockroach and termites also present in the garage. Great location to the beach and grocery story. Probably wouldn’t rent the house again for the cost and features unavailable.

Dog Owners BEWARE! VACASA DOESN'T CARE!!!

The house was fabulous. I will NEVER rent from VACASA again: All texts are automated. I called and spoke to a 'Manager' regarding the gate being left open repeatedly (lawn, garbage/recycle bins) and NOTHING was done about it. I finally emailed two gentlemen I found on the Internet and two signs were produced to hang near gates, however the lawn maintenance still came and the gate was STILL left open. I deserve a credit for having no BBQ as the propane tanks sit on the deck unattached (mentioned to 'manager', no response) ~ I have date photos to prove it. I WILL NEVER RENT A PLACE RELATED TO VACASA AGAIN and I rent all over the place and often.
