Wild Things is a spacious log cabin with vaulted ceilings offering 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom, Jacuzzi, lofted game room with 1 twin bed and 1 full bed nestled in a wooded setting centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with convenience to all the attractions and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park!
As you enter the main level, you will find a comfortable living room that offers a gas log fireplace, queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, rocker, large screen TV, DVD Player, a movie library, and board games with wood flooring, ceiling fan, and lots of window to let the natural light in. There is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and wood flooring in addition to a separate dining room area that offers a table that will seat 4-6 with two benches for seating. The master bedroom offers a luxurious king bed, bedside Jacuzzi, TV, log chair, 2 easy chairs, wood flooring, and a stacked washer/dryer in one of the closets. A full bath is located on this level that offers a tub/shower combination with a built-in hair dryer for guest convenience.
Head on up to the lofted game room area, you will find a pool table, pub table for 2, an easy chair, 1 twin bed, and 1 full size bed. Perfect place for the kiddos to sleep or young adults or even challenge each other to a game of pool. Each bed is on the opposite side of the room with small triangle windows to let the natural light in as well as take in the beauty of nature.
The covered front deck offers a double rocker, two wood rockers, and a small table for guests to enjoy taking in the serene sounds of nature. There is a covered screened back deck that offers a hot tub, patio set for 4, checkerboard game, and a ceiling fan for guests to enjoy soaking in the relaxing hot tub after a long day of activities. There is a small yard area that offers a parklike charcoal grill and a picnic table for your grilling pleasure.
Don't forget your laptop! This cabin offers Free WIFI internet access. With all the luxuries that this cabin has to offer, Wild Things is perfect for couples and small families to enjoy making this their home away from home in the Smokies.

An excellent retreat

Had a wonderful time, would definitely come back. Perfect for a solo trip or a couple. Roads are well paved, but narrow and steep in places. Consider 4 wheel drive if visiting during the snowy season.

Awesome stay!

My wife and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary and it was an absolute pleasure staying at your lovely cabin. The location was great and we wanted to be as deep in the woods as possible and this happens to be one of those particular locations. My overall rating for this location and the cabin would be a big 10!

Really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was clean and check in was easy. Barbara was very nice. Roads were tricky getting up there but overall pleased!! I would stay again.

Beautiful cabin!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Wild Things. The location was great, only 10-15 minutes from store, gas etc. The cabin was spacious and decorated very nicely. Beds were comfortable. Hot tub was a favorite! We would definitely recommend this cabin for a small family with kids!

We loved this property! Barbara was wonderful about communicating with us and even offered us an extra night a discounted rate since snow was moving in. The location is perfect and the cabin was amazing! We will for sure be back!

Loved the Smokie Mountains!! And the room in the cabin

My family just got back from Tennessee a couple weeks ago and loved it! Perfect location to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, or if you just wanted to relax at the cabin. The boys had their space upstairs and we all enjoyed the hot tub! The hubby and I are already talking about going back.

Super Family Friendly!

We loved our stay at the Wild Things cabin. The house was clean, warm and inviting. Our children had so much fun having the loft to themselves with their special sleeping quarters. They played in the hot tub daily. We also enjoyed teaching them to play pool. The cabin is in a great location right between Gatlinburg and Pigeonford which was so convenient. We plan to make it our home away from home in that area of the Smokies.

Convenient Location - Pretty Private

We have stayed here before (a few years ago). While this visit presented a few issues when we arrived, Barbara was QUICK to respond and pay attention to details. The screened-in side porch offers privacy around the hot tub, but you can still enjoy natural views. Kitchen is well stocked with comforts of home. Decor is typical of the area and LOVE the wooden raccoon wrapped around stair post! Thanks to the owners and we look forward to our next visit.

This place is great!

This is such a nice place to stay and visit the Smoky Mountains National park along with Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. So many things to do are within a short, scenic drive, but the house is in a quiet and relatively secluded area. We even saw a family of bears right outside on 3 or 4 of the 7 days that we were there! We (especially our kids) loved relaxing in the hot tub each night and even sometimes in the mornings before we went out. Everything was in good working order, directions to the place were simple to follow, and communication with the owners was easy when needed. I would definitely recommend this house for couples or families looking for a good home base in the Smoky Mountains area!
