Relaxing Cabin on the hill

Week end getaway

Stayed 1-4 Aug. Great location about halfway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Seen Black bear everyday. Will try and stay during the week next time. Gatlinburg got kinda crowded on Saturday.

Clean and cozy

All the amenities of home. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, and soaking in the jacuzzi bath tub while viewing the breathtaking scenery. It doesn't get better than this !!!

Nice views

The cabin does have a wonder view and semi secluded location. The cabin is perfect for couples who want a nice quiet getaway. The large windows let in lots of light and were wonderful to wake up to the mountains view. We also seen a few bears in the neighborhood which was very neat. There are some steep hills but nothing too bad.

The cabin was clean and had everything you would need for an amazing stay, hot tub was nice with a relaxing view. We will be back!!

never could get fireplace to work, views were not as shown on listing, foliage around cabin blocked views, loft view was good but windows were Very dirty, the fact that cobwebs were not only on the outside of the windows but even on the inside, shows how long it's been since they were cleaned

Just what we needed

Some of these reviews stated on this property are not whatvwe experienced as far as cleanliness and supplies for the kitchen. Out of all the vrbo we have used this has got to be the most stocked kitchen we have had yet when it comes to supplies. The cabin was clean and yes the couch was work, but suited us just fine because its lived in constantly. Loved the hot tub and the closeness to everything. We will stay again thats for sure.

Overall the stay was nice the cabin was precious had a nice kitchen loved the porch with hot tub and Grill which we spent a lot of time on. Love the fireplace. One thing I will say is you better turn that fireplace on a couple hours before you go to bed because the heat will run you out of the Loft upstairs. The only real issue I had was when we tried to check in we got there at 4:00 there was a gentleman meeting us at the door telling us that we could not get in because the lock had been changed he had to go back down to the office and would be right back. We had been in the car all day and had two dogs with us so about 35 minutes later he showed up. And then had to fix the door which he gave us a manual key to said that it worked all was well but in all reality we could not lock the door the entire time of our stay the only way that you can lock it was shutting it and walking it from the inside. Which is fine I really wasn't concerned about somebody breaking into the house everybody's on vacation and doing their own thing but if somebody was really wanting to be nosy and wanted to steal some stuff they could have just opened the door and had their way with our cabin LOL. I did try to reach out to the manager to see if anybody knew what was going on while he was gone getting the keys to the house since it was taking longer than what he had said I did not get a response. Ever. But other than that the trip was fine and cabin was clean.

Beautiful cabin but needs wirk

We LOVED the cabin, but definitely needs a deep cleaning and some major repairs. The size was perfect for my husband and I and the views were beautiful. The HUGE drawback was the shower and the cleanliness. The shower floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages and there was a crack in the floor fiberglass that looked like an unsuccessful repair was made. Depending on how long it’s been like this, I’d imagine the floor beneath is compromised and a major safety concern. The cabin is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. General floor areas were clean, but there was at least a quarter inch of dust on all baseboards and some fixtures. The stove burners had cooking debris that seemed to have been there awhile. The cabin has glass covers protecting the coffee tables that were disgusting underneath and on top. They are a safety concern if you bring any children because they don’t have sticky pads to hold them in place so they slide with the slightest bump. Bathroom mirrors looked like someone had taken a wet rag to clean them. Positive notes: Great location to all activities. The drive to the cabin is a little intense with steep inclines, but one you drive it a time or two, you get use to it. All linens were clean. We didn’t use the whirlpool tub due to not trusting the cleanliness, but we sure enjoyed the hot tub since we knew there were chemicals in it for disinfection. The cover for the hot tub isn’t the prettiest, but serves its purpose. We had a lot of fun with the pool table and retro arcade games. Gas grill worked, but had a little trouble with the ignition here and there. I’d recommend bringing a long lighter or matches in case it’s being temperamental during your visit. Also bring a dustpan/sweeper because there’s no cleaning supplies in the cabin. Would we stay there again? Not sure. Cabin size and amenities were perfect, but the property management that takes care of the cabin, Aunt Bugs rentals, seem to have the same bad reviews with their other cabins they rent out. I’d probably find another cabin that I wouldn’t feel the need to clean on vacation.

this is a great place if you are looking for somewhere to stay....and not be in the cabin the entire time. only 2 of the small burners work on the stove, the two larger ones don't work. tile grout in the kitchen is non-existent in some spots so the tiles are cracked/not in place the right way. no mop or wipes, so if you spill something on the floor you'll have to use wet paper towels.

Weekend getaway

The cabin was very relaxing. The check in process was simple & efficient. The decor was just right. We enjoyed the view, peacefulness & relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.

Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and there were actually enough products to last the week. There were a lot of dead ladybugs and cobwebs...they could have been cleaned a little better. Kitchen table is very unlevel...we put some books under a leg to keep it from rocking back and forth. A small block of wood would solve that problem. It would be nice if the cleaning people put the arm down on the icemaker so there would be ice available when tenants arrive. Overall it was a nice stay.

Cute cabin

Cute little cabin. Not as clean as I would have liked, but it was just my husband and I so it was fine. The roads getting to the cabin were very narrow and steep, so it would not be good in the winter.
