Our two bedroom farm house has a very unique feel with detailed craftsmanship (built by the owner). The home is 1000 square fee. It has an open concept with a 500 sq. ft. deck and views of the ocean, mountains, and our farm. We have goats and plenty of fruit trees. We are 6 miles from HoÊ»okipa Beach Park, less than 10 minutes from waterfalls (Twin Falls), 6 miles from Makawao town and 9 miles to PÄÊ»ia. We are also right on the famed Hana Highway (Road to Hana). We have a fully equipped kitchen with new, full-size appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, and gas range stove. The kitchen also has a coffee maker, toaster, and a blender. The master bedroom has a king bed, walk-in closet, 65-inch TV, and a reading corner. The second bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed. We provide bath towels, beach towels (Turkish towels), linens, a cooler, and beach chairs. The area is very peaceful and beautiful at the back of our neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. There is very little traffic with restaurants and stores nearby at the Cannery Mall (approximately 4 miles away)
We loved our stay and loved the location!!! If you want a peaceful location with beaches nearby this is the place for you. Owner very responsive to questions we had.
We loved this property! The home was in a very nice neighborhood/location. Perfect layout and set up for a small family or two couples. The home was well stocked and had great property management.
We also enjoyed the little coffee cafes near by.
We really liked the location, close to Hana Highway but up country a little. We had goats to the left, cows out front, chickens all around. The owner lives next door - very friendly, responsive but quiet and in the background. The house was just right for us - we slipped into a pattern quite easily. Big lanai, view of West Maui mountains left, ocean through the trees to the right. We're sad to leave ...
My husband and two children (11 and 14) stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. It was in a great location, 10-15min drive from beaches and the lovely town of Paia, right on the road to Hana and close to Haleakala. The property provided plenty of space for us to relax after a busy day at the beach or tourning around in our rental car. The kitchen was VERY well stocked for any cooking you may want to do. The hosts had chairs, snorkel gear, cooler and umbrellas for your beach days. The hosts were very helpful and the goats were a fun addition. All in all FANTASTIC
Of all the places we stayed when we visited Hawaii, we had the best time at this Maui Farmhouse! If you are visiting Maui, it is the perfect central location for seeing Upcountry, Haleakala, the Road to Hana and the North Shore Beaches, but the Southern and Western beaches are still a very doable drive. There is a cute country store with a restaurant, Jaws, within a few minutes and the quaint nearby town of Paia has great little shops to explore. The house itself is everything you would want, clean and comfortable but chic and stylish. The enormous spa shower was incredible and the beds so comfy after a busy day exploring the island. The view from the covered porch was spectacular, very enjoyable for a morning coffee sunrise or a sunset cocktail! We will definitely be staying here if we ever visit Maui again! Thank you for the wonderful opportunity!
The Farmhouse is a beautiful and peaceful place to spend time on Maui. Itâs close to charming small towns and beautiful countryside to explore. Iâd never stayed in this part of Maui before and fell in love with how green everything is. The house is beautifully designed with perfect decor, exceptionally clean, and the kitchen has everything you could need. My favorite feature is the lanai with breathtaking views in every direction, we spent most of our waking hours there. You feel Hawaii here, the air, the birds, the breeze, the scents. I felt so relaxed here, perfect for anyone but I could see it a perfect place for a artist or writer. I didnât want to leave. Sarah and Cary are the nicest people and hosts, gracious in every way. Would definitely stay here again.
The pictures in the listing donât do this place justice! Itâs lovely. Great views from the spacious balcony, and very well equipped. We could have stayed for a month and been quite comfortable. Kitchen, bath, and bedrooms were immaculate. Nice touches like beach gear, towels, and Hawaiian snacks made it feel warm and welcoming. Location is 10-15 minutes from 3 different towns with good restaurants and grocery stores. Thereâs no air conditioning, which was fine because there was a nice breeze. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, this home met all our needs - it was very clean, beds were very comfortable, had fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, snorkel gear, full washer/dryer, covered carport, covered patio - very close to waterfalls and right on the road to Hana. Very responsive owners - overall great place to stay if not desiring the big HI resort experience.
We enjoyed this beautiful home in a great location, close to Hana hwy and access to Paia, beaches and farm stands. Our gracious hosts furnished this home with upscale appliances and thoughtful touches with their guests in mind. We've traveled a lot and this is by far the top few rental homes we visited Mahalo.
We loved the amazing views, the gracious host, the comfortable home, and the great location off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood.
They have fresh eggs, barnyard animals, and beautiful landscaping.
We would stay here again.
We loved our stay here! The house was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could want and we especially loved the deck. The neighborhood was quiet and away from the super touristy areas, but we were still close to a nice beach, the volcano, and the Road to Hana. You really can't beat the location unless you're just looking to party on Maui.
The hosts were next door and gave us our privacy, but also provided us with some fresh eggs and fruit.
Highly recommend.
What a wonderful home to visit on the northern shore of Maui. Itâs real ranch-style living with cows, goats and chickens everywhere. Perched on a little hill facing west this home is beautifully built with brand new appliances, furnishings and amenities. If you need a random utensil-they have it. If you need eggs-just go outside to find them in the bushes where the chickens lay them. If you need anything at all on your stay-the owner lives next door and is a friendly, gracious host.
We loved our stay and would recommend this property with a perfect 10 out of 10 rating.
Thank you to the owner! We miss being there already!
This property is near the Hana Highway after the Paia town. This is probably the best place to stay than the rest of the island. It always rains at night. Very green when you compared to most of the island. This property is newly built and well maintained. We loved the Lanai and were there most of the time. Owner lives next door. Very helpful and answered our questions right away. We loved the stay do not want to leave from here.
Perfect place to stay if you're looking to experience Maui in a less touristy aspect and enjoy the island itself. We loved that it was just off the road to Hana and waking up to the natural noises of the island. Located on a very low trafficked road it was nice and peacefully quiet.
We have lived on Maui for about 20 years. Sarah teaches fifth grade at Makawao Elementary School, and Cary drives boats for Ultimate Maui Adventure Cruises. Charlie, our son, is in fifth grade. We love to surf, swim, hike, and take care of the property and our animals. We just love being outdoors!
We purchased our home in 2010. We loved the neighborhood and the fact that we had 2 acres to farm. We love the location and the quiet, rural feel of the property. The property was in pretty bad shape when we bought it, so we poured our time and money into renovating the house that we currently live in, as well as bringing the agriculture to a productive state. A few years later, Cary built the farm house that we have listed as a bed and breakfast. We have family come stay with us quite a bit as well, so itʻs nice to have the extra room.
HaÊ»ikĆ« Hideaway is in a quiet, spacious neighborhood that is within short driving distance to Twin Falls, HoÊ»okipa Beach Park, and Baldwin Beach in PÄÊ»ia. Makawao town is also a short drive away. If you are looking for a more relaxed environment with a variety of activities nearby, this is a great choice.
