First, a note about the host. The day before our stay we were scheduled to be in Kahului at a hotel. Unfortunately, this was the timing of a Tsunami warning. Our hotel and surrounding area were evacuated, meaning we would have to stay in a shelter or our rental car (with 3 children, not fun). We called Sharyn on the off chance that she might be able to help, as the property is well out of the Tsunami Zone. She called within 5 minutes and made arrangements for us to arrive early and provided recommendations about getting provisions. In my opinion, you canât truly know how a host is going to be until something goes wrong. Take comfort that you are in fantastic hands on this property!! She saved our vacation!On to the spaceâŠthe layout of the house was perfect for everyone to have privacy when needed and together time when wanted. Cooking was easy and comfortable, the AC was helpful when the winds were too strong to keep the windows open. But the true gem was the property, landscaping, and ways to enjoy both with Lanai space. You could literally walk around and feel like you were in paradise! They maintain it beautifully with such interesting flora! The pool was the best I have ever swam inâŠit was beautiful, comfortable temperature the entire time, just enough sun, and located inside lush plants that really gave that feeling of privacy. Great location for Road to Hana and North Shore towns and beaches! A true 10/10!!
