Great unit

We stayed at the Sea colony many times, this large unit was by far the best, very spacious and clean. Perfect ocean front view, large balcony, kitchen was stocked with everything you need, beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler, loved the pantry. Communication with Mark the owner was great

Perfect View of the Beach

501 N Edgewater was the best place to stay. The parking spot is right by the entrance to the back of the building and the elevators. The walk to the beach and the pool is just as quick. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on. The temperature of the condo was always comfortable. Everything in the condo was labeled so you never worried about where anything was. All in all, the perfect spot to view the sunrise every morning. We loved our stay and hope to be back next year!

Enjoyed vacation in Bethany Beach

Our family had a great time in Bethany Beach. The condo was spacious and very comfortable for the 5 of us. Having coffee on the balcony and watching the sun rise was a great way to start the day. Our host was very responsive to our questions.

Wonderful Unit

This unit was exactly as pictured. Beautiful and spacious. It perfectly accommodated three adults and two children. It was nice to have the space behind the sofa for our kids to play. The wide open area when you walk in the front door was great too, so we didn't have to navigate a tight hall with our beach gear, and we weren't stepping over each other when cooking in the kitchen. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of storage. As always, Sea Colony did not disappoint with their accommodations. Despite being peak season, we never had an issue getting a spot at the pool, or waiting for an elevator. I had concerns over the garage clearance for the parking space. It is listed as 6'3", and our pick up truck is around 6'5" tall. It was not an issue. With some tight turns, we were able to back into the parking spot. I would definitely book this unit again.

Great resort and a great view!!

This condo is spacious and well organized. Love that the kitchen has labels everywhere indicating what goes where. The wood look tile floors are perfect for the beach and we enjoyed the balcony and the furniture out there (after noon when the sun was no longer in our faces). Great for HH and dinner outside. Sea Colony itself had lots of fun activities for our grands. They especially loved the splash pad, the mini swim meet and diving for pennies, and the marshmallow roast. We only rated cleanliness at a 4 because beach housecleaners never take care of the little things. (We owned and rented out a Bethany beach home for 30+years.) However, bathrooms, kitchen, and beds were all very clean. That's what's most important to me. We hope to be back next year!

Nice location and great view.

The unit was clean and comfortable. Appliances and electronics all worked as expected. The view was outstanding. The balcony furniture was clean and comfortable. The master bedroom bed was comfortable. Master shower was nice. Location near the main elevator was very convenient. Also, direct access to edgewater's indoor pool/fitness room was convenient as well. Kitchen and laundry appliances were old, but functional. A library of family movies would have been a nice touch. Living room sofa could stand to be replaced/updated. Overall, compared to the many other units we've stayed in as a family of 5 over the years, this is one of the nicer ones. I would not hesitate to book this unit again, should the price remain reasonable and comparative.

Donna was owner Condo did not have any extra toilet paper at all, no paper towels, napkins, etc. Nothing extra as other vrbo's listed and previously rented. Entry combo was incorrect, had to wait in lobby with large tub full of our belongs for several hours until host returned our call, Hot water was not turned on, different location for ON switch but not told, no hotwater until host called back again and told us where fuse box holds the hot water button. There was not a single set of directions for any of the 3 TV's each with 3 remotes - why would you as an owner not have an entire list of instructions and directions???? All other conddos from vrbo had a bathmat ( we did not) floor soaked,, each matress was old and you sunk in the middle when sleeping,, no trashbags for trash cans, why was there not any sample shampoos, conditioners, etc for guests in bathroom. Positive side, air condition worked great and view was wonderful but ww could have found that in any other condo. Sorry Donna you could be a better host and finally into condo at 6 when we started the door entry at 1:30, we lost almost an entire day and tons of inconvience. Please don't rent any more til you have all of thewe items fixed. Plenty otjer condos in development that even ha ve a bottle of wine, crackers and cheese waiting the guest. I would hope you will give us a refund for a much less than perfect stay..One more important point - YOUR WATER HEATER IS GOING UP - 0nly one shower - 10 minutes then water freezing cold

Spring Break

The property was clean and the kitchen had the stables you would expect/need. We enjoyed the view of the ocean. From the master bedroom I could watch the sunrise from my bed each morning and open the patio door to hear the waves crashing on the shore. These were my favorite parts of the trip. They do not include bed linen, towels, and paper goods like paper towels. You are also required to throughly clean the property in order to get your $100 cleaning deposit, as the cleaning crew only disinfects. The rental agreement did spell all this out, but I didn't get the rental agreement until I had already paid. I recommend that this information be part of the description. I would have made a different choice had I know the above before paying. Anf since my trip was sour of the moment. I had to pay the full amount at booking and had no refund option. I also had to pay $15 per person for an activity pass to access the pool and other things on the property. This also was a surprise to me.

Wonderful location and nicely updated!

We had a great week! It’s the perfect location, directly in the center of the complex, right off of the elevator in Edgewater. It even had a few beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach toys for us to enjoy! We ended up paying to have towels and sheets as the room does not come with them. Only complaint was the floors were pretty dirty and in need of a good mopping when we got there - probably mostly because it was at the end of the beach season. We loved our stay and would definitely stay in this unit again!!

We had such an amazing time during our stay! This unit was perfect for us! It was very spacious and had all of the things our family needed. The owners were so quick at getting back to us with answers to our questions and their unit was very clean and well kept. We especially loved the specious kitchen and laundry room with plenty of room to store items. We could not be happier with our stay and will absolutely be looking to stay here again!

Great week at Sea Colony

Just enjoyed a wonderful week at this condo with my husband and two young children. We had more than enough space and the condo had everything we needed. The owner was very communicative before and during our stay. We’ve stayed at many condos in Sea Colony over the years, but will be trying to rent this one every summer from now on.

Excellent location and amenities

This condo is gorgeous. Perfect property for our family of four (twins under two). Plenty of pans to cooks with, a few beach chairs and beach items, and the property looks just like the photos. The owner was upfront about the need to bring linens, but I do wish bath mats, kitchen towels, etc had been provided. The amenities were wonderful. Gym in the building, lots of pools, and easy beach access. The parking is perfect, the spot is right by the elevator and on the way to the beach. Would certainly stay here again.

A wonderful family getaway

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect to have a kids' room for our 3 girls, and a king bed for us! The location directly on the beach was beautiful. It wasn't exactly beach weather yet when we were there, but having the view and the balcony was perfect. And having an indoor pool right in the same building was key for our kids. We also drove over to the other indoor pool in Sea Colony to check it out one day. It's a little bit bigger, but more of a lap pool, fyi. The unit was well equipped & clean. They even have a hair dryer, kids' plastic cups/plates/bowls. No need to bring any of that stuff with you. They also have beach chairs, beach ball, & I think an umbrella (but I can't remember now). We were still slightly off-season and there were quite a few things not yet open for the season, and we've already said we'll have to come back in a warmer month. It's a perfect, quieter location for a family getaway.

Great stay over winter break!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Place was clean and well-stocked. View can’t be beat and great access to sea colony amenities. Would highly recommend!

Easy to book and easy to check in

The unit is exactly as the pictures showed. Great location if you are staying at Sea Colony. We actually left something of value behind and our property manager was kind enough to retrieve it for us
