First; next time I'm in Boston I will see if this place is available. It was spacious, clean, safe, and close to the green line. If you're planning to use public transportation you'll want to be ok with walking up hill. Personally I enjoyed the walk but it could be too much for some. I bicycled to and from Beacon Hill on a daily basis and found it to be quite easy and enjoyable. Though the neighborhood is college student heavy, it's relatively quiet up there at the top of the hill. Heidi was very helpful whenever I needed anything - mostly with last minute parking requests which usually worked out. If you know you need parking it's best to reserve ahead of time.
Great option for long term stay, have already rebooked to return to on my next 6 week visit. Super communicative and flexible host. Great option for business or leisure travelers.
Great apartment within walking distance of many basic amenities. Close to area hospitals and tourist attractions. The unit is wheelchair accessible from the entrance to the building and within the unit. 3 foot wide doors and smooth floors makes it easy to navigate. Management is very responsive with quick returns on emails and calls. Highly recommend this spot for an extended Boston stay.
Mixed bag. Apartment was big and clean. Kitchen was well appointed. Dishwasher was problematic. To her credit, the owner sent a repairman promptly when I complained but it never cleaned the dishes well. One bathroom tub creaked and buckled like it was about to give way beneath you, so we didn't use it after day one. Upstairs neighbors sounded like they were running a Jazzersize class up there for hours every day. Walls were well insulated though; I only heard someone else talking/laughing once during our five week stay. One of the neighbors right near the front door used cannabis daily and the hallway often smelled because of it (though it's legal here). The apartment walls were barren - not a single thing on them - and the ceilings were quite high. Taken together, this made the whole apartment echo like a slot canyon (with a Jazzercise class going on). Still, I appreciated many things about the space and it wasn't a bad place to stay. I did not, however, appreciate the parking situation. I was paying extra for that and didn't even have an actual spot for the first week or so - she had me parking so that a portion of my vehicle blocked another tenant's front door. Even after I got a spot, it was so tight I literally had to get out the back hatch of my vehicle many days, and the passenger door the remainder of the time. It was super stressful. I would not stay here again even if I had to pay more for a different apartment.
