Paradise awaits. This luxurious French Style Villa is a perfect destination for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. Set in the secluded jungle hills right outside of Tamarindo, you can relax and indulge yourself in your own private compound designed by a renowned French architect and designer. Villa Nacara combines a stunning open air living area experience complete with tiled pool, koi pond and dining area.

The property is just minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica as well as the vibrant town of Tamarindo and its fine cuisine and lively nightlife and entertainment.

Villa Nacara is situated on a 5,000 m2 (1 acre) plot landscaped with mango and banana trees, Guanacaste trees, royal poicianas and bismark palms.

Professionally decorated the house includes:
- Three separate bedrooms each with a king or queen bed, closet, safe and
private bath.
- A large lap pool to enjoy day and night
- Half-bath and shower near the pool
- A well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, oven and
gas stove.
- Entertainment and exercise room complete with stationary bike.
- Fresh water pond with seven colorful koi - they swim for your
attention and a food morsel (kids favorite!)

Tamarindo Heaven

Everything about this property is stellar. Miriam the manager was above and beyond - giving excursion advice and helping with any questions. Uber is 20 to town but best to rent a car to see the sites beyond. TRY the Canopy ZIPLINE just one mile away- 9 zips of your life! Playa Conchal is 30 minutes and amazing!

Very helpful hosts

The house is well represented by photos and is located away from the busy city center but close enough to make it easy to travel into Tamarindo. The hosts and property manager went above and beyond to help with our questions. The water pressure wasn't great but that's was a minor issue as everything else was great. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc.

Paradise!

By far the best vacation rental we've ever had! This property is a paradise. It sits on an acre of lush, tropical gardens with cactus, bamboo, palms and fruit trees. Very private, yet only 10 minutes drive to Villa Real, 20 minutes to Tamarindo and 30 minutes to some of the best beaches in the world. The pool was fantastic. The Koi pond added to the Zen-like calm. Waking up and feeding the Koi was one of the highlights of my day - so relaxing! The rooms are beautiful, well-decorated and spotlessly clean. Every bedroom has it's own en-suite with outdoor shower. The property manager Miriam was fantastic! So knowledgable, efficient and helpful - more of a concierge than a property manager. We couldn't have asked for more. Very highly recommended!

Beautiful Property!

We loved our time in Costa Rica. The property was gorgeous and quiet. We played in the pool in the rain and there are so many butterflies flitting around and frogs singing their songs. The property is located on the outskirts of Tamarindo, but still close enough to enjoy the beaches and the delicious food of the country. The people of Costa Rica are SO kind and welcoming and Russ and Patou are incredible with their communications. Highly recommend the area and the property!

Nice place to stay at

Overall a nice house and place. Pros: - property manager was super nice, available, and helpful - house is nice, rooms as well, with nice pool Cons: - house is a bit old and needs some freshening up - located in a quite remote location (as advertised) I still recommend the place, but I think the owners should invest a little bit to refresh some things.

Paradise!

Great experience at Villa Nacara. Miriam was amazing and available to help with all our questions and booking tours. We had pool service twice and cleaning service once during our 8 day stay. The property had everything we needed to cook, grill, do laundry and just relax! It was close enough to tourist area if we wanted to go there and close to local beaches! Plenty of stores nearby for grocery shopping and a pharmacy and urgent care within 15 minute drive of property. The living/dining area is Al fresco! We enjoyed the outdoor living! We had a little challenge with the sliding doors but otherwise everything worked. The koi pond was nice and the fish were out quite a bit! We loved the privacy and seclusion and all the nature we encountered! The rooms were spacious and comfortable! We wish we were back there! Pura Vida!

Beach vacation

Overall great location to tamarindo beach and town. Very clean. Loved the open concept, probably not ideal for infants/toddlers bc of koi pond but we had lots of family helping watch the baby. My older boys enjoyed feeding the fish and swimming in the pool. Property manager was very helpful.

So nice!

Loved our stay these past nine days. Everything was wonderful. We listened to howler monkeys, saw parakeets and other beautiful birds, a few frogs, lizards, and iguana on the grounds of the property. The air conditioning was cold, the bedding and pillows were really comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. The kitchen was well-equipped, and we cooked several nights. The pool was absolutely fantastic! We swam every single day and relaxed in the chaise loungers when not swimming. In the evenings we enjoyed the nice covered seating area. The three outdoor showers (covered and accessible from the interior) were an added bonus. Plenty of room for three couples if that’s your thing. We two enjoyed it immensely.

Beautiful house

This house is really fun. It has some good things that you might find lacking in other Costa Rican houses. Water pressure and temp control was pretty amazing. Such an excellent pool. Easy road access and great wifi. We had a few visitors. Iguanas hang out on the roof. That was cool. Frogs hang out in the fish pond. Also cool. Howlers hang out in the neighborhood. We didn't get to see them but they sang the song of their people in the evenings. Super close to Tamarindo and the best beaches in Costa Rica. Plenty of super markets, fruit market and restaurants. Helpful people at the gas station if your tire needs air. I didn't want to leave and that's a sign that the vacation house is great.

Increible experiencia

Definitivamente recomiendo Villa Nacara, Patricia fue súper atenta y después Marian las managers fueron increíbles y súper atentas a todo lo que necesitábamos. Russell El dueño desde el comienzo estuvo en contacto y nos dieron tips de lugares para visitar y playas cerca de nuestra ubicación. Definitivamente vivimos la naturaleza en esta hermosa Villa. En la villa tienes todo lo que necesitas para pasarla de maravilla y en familia. Definitivamente una experiencia inolvidable.

Aussergewöhnliches Haus

Das Feriendomizil ist schon etwas besonderes. Der Tag findet praktisch im Freien statt, gefühlt bist du aber im Wohnzimmer. Die Schlafräume sind etwas abseits, die Betten sind sehr gut, hier gibt es eine AC. Der Pool ist das absolute highlight, er ist sehr sauber und wird wöchentlich geprüft. Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt, die Gärtner sind oft bei der Arbeit. Hier kann man Tiere beobachten die man sonst nicht sieht. Das Wohnen in dem Haus war schön.

Très beau site bien aménagé

Bel accueil à notre arrivée par Marc, notre hôte de ce séjour. Toutes les commodités étaient à notre portée. Place tranquille et apaisante. La piscine est fabuleuse et à une parfaite température. Les oiseaux colorés et un iguane se promènent dans un site enchanteur. On a entendu aussi un singe hurleur. Les salles de bain sont spacieuses. Les pièces sont loins l’unes de l’autres donc on ne craint pas de réveiller les autres convives. Petits bémols: la cuisine aurait besoin d’un rafraichissement: odeur de frigo dans la pièce, portes d’armoire qui claquent fort et qui tiennent à peine. Four et réfrigérateur vieillissants. Mais tout le matériel est là pour se faire de bons repas. On a bien aimé cette villa!

Not sure about renting a home in a foreign country or worried about the logistics and details of getting to Villa Nacara. Your property manager - Tibo - lives next door. He will greet you when you get in and make sure everything is perfect for your stay. If you have any questions he is at there to help you. Tibo also speaks French, Spanish and English so he is a tremendous resource for you. We try to eliminate as many concerns as possible so you can just relax and have the time of your life.
