Mountain house overlooking the forrest only 5 minutes away from Tamarindo Beach. This 3 Bedroom house accommodates 6 guests very comfortably. The house has a magnificent pool nestled in the forrest where you can hear, see and enjoy nature!! The house has all amenities to enjoy, a fully equipped kitchen with high end appliances, outdoors dining, WIFi and AC throughout the house. Located in a very quiet and safe private community very close to Tamarindo's lifestyle and beautiful beaches to enjoy.
The house is located in the mountain only 5 minutes from Tamarindo. Rental car or a personal car is recommended as you need to drive up the hill to get to the house. Road is all paved and in great shape.
Rancho Villa Real is a gated community with great neighbours. It is a very quiet area with lots of nature surrounding it. The house is nestled in the forest. You can enjoy nice walks throughout the community and also enjoy the club house.

Beautiful Stay in the Hills

Beautiful home nestled in a neighborhood in the hills near Tamarindo. Great location with shops a short drive away. We made great use of the fantastic kitchen that was well equipped for family meals by the pool. Lovely to hear the birds and wildlife including howler monkeys! Great stay!

Amazing place

It was such a great property. Everything was well maintained. The pool and wild life were so fun. Great beds! It was a little dirty when we first arrived but the property manager had the cleaners come back immediately to fix the problem. (Wasn’t terrible, just seemed like they missed sweeping the floors and it was not at our complaint but by the property managers own choice.)Not right in Tamarindo but with a car only minutes away and super close to grocery stores.

The Perfect Spot

This was the perfect spot for us. The gated neighborhood, with security 24/7, was a very short drive to downtown Tamarindo. It had everything we needed and the concierge was quick to respond to the few questions we had. We would certainly stay here again!

Costa Rica Getaway

This property is just as advertised. It is a short distance from Tamarindo beaches. It was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed hearing and seeing Mikey’s in the surrounding vegetation. Definitely enjoyed our time!

Could Have Stayed Forever

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was perfect for our family. The home is beautiful and pool is perfect. One afternoon we had a magical moment as a troop of monkeys made their was through the trees in the backyard and stayed to munch on leaves. The location is perfect. A short, easy drive to Tamarindo but far enough away to feel peaceful. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful setting

We enjoyed our time here. It’s a beautiful location—great infinity pool, amenities, and wildlife. Watched a bunch of monkey one day and saw several on other days as well as hummingbirds. Concierge that comes with the reservation was great. The main suite could get a bit warm and the Sun sometimes made it hard to sit on the couch (only place to really sit in the house) without the sun in your eyes. Grocery stores nearby and not a bad drive to Tamarindo. More peaceful than staying in town. Well-equipped house. Appreciated being able to cook and grill (needs a toaster!). Had a bit of a snafu trying to get access to the gated community but once that was resolved, no issues.

Nice House outside of Tamarindo

Pros: Modern, clean, well equipped home. Great communication by several managers of the home. Very comfortable beds. Pool was spectacular and so was the wildlife that came to visit every day. The bathrooms are spacious and amazing, plenty for our group of 6. Cons: There was some confusion about the bedroom/beds situation of the home. The listing says 4 bedrooms and also 3 bedrooms. There are really only 2 bedrooms and 1 utility room that has a bed in it, its a small room with a laundry type sink and counter. It worked for my teenage son, but it's not for a couple of adults. The 4th "bedroom" is a fold out futon below an open staircase that we used a folding screen to block off. It worked, but it was not ideal. Luckily by 12 year old didn't get much say. There is no table to eat indoors, only four stools at the kitchen counter. Otherwise if you are cooking, you eat outside. The house could use one or two more chairs in the living room, our party of 6 brought in a pool lounge chair because there is only one sofa when watching a movie. The house is at the very top point of a gated community and requires several large hills to navigate to. The road is not well maintained and has many big holes. The pool could use a grab bar for safety, it is difficult to get out of.

We loved our time in Costa Rica and especially loved the accommodations! The house was in an ideal location - private yet a very short distance to town and minutes away from Tamarindo. The home itself is wonderful! We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas - watching the butterflies and hummingbirds and hearing the calls of the howler monkeys. The pool was used daily and every convenience you can think of was provided. Thank you again for sharing your amazing home for a memorable vacation!

Modern home, very private, surrounded by forest. About 15-20m drive to Tamarindo beach. Traffic backups were common. Service for the unit and front gate was excellent. I had an AC not working and a gentleman came out within 15 minutes. The pool is beautiful and very inviting after long hot days. Grocery shopping very close, but bring your own bags!! Loved the tropical fruits welcoming us to the home! We would come back here, it was so wonderful. The master sink upstairs close to the shower has a slow drain.

Comfortable villa

We loved our stay at the villa. After little over 2 weeks of activities and lots of travelling in Costa Rica, the villa offered us all we needed! Comfortabel beds, a fantastic pool and space for everyone to do their own thing. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Heavenly Tamarindo Retreat

My family of 5 was exploring the many regions of Costa Rica and was lucky to find this beautiful home in Tamarindo. The location was ideal since we had a car - very private but accessible and a short drive to stores and the beach while also having all the amenities we could ask for....a private pool, space to spread out with ample comfortable beds and baths, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a washer/dryer. Communication was easy as was check-in and out. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home if you happen to be in the area!

Great property!

The house was just as described! We were delighted with the pool and really enjoyed the wildlife during our stay! The beds were very comfortable and we took advantage of the kitchen and the outdoor grill! Overall, we would love to stay here again if our travels ever take us back to Tamarindo!

We loved everything about the property! The kids enjoyed the pool each day, and we made some great meals in the beautiful kitchen! It was very spacious and had everything that we needed. It was fun hearing the howler monkeys each morning, and also seeing them in the trees right above the house and pool! It was overall a great experience!

Jungle oasis

This house was superb! We enjoyed the pool and wildlife right in the backyard, day and night. The howler monkeys were fascinating to watch, as well as the hummingbirds. The location was great and close enough to local beaches and downtown Tamarindo. A restaurant that was close by that had great authentic cuisine was called Rural.

Tucked away home

The house and property were nice. We found it difficult to get to in the dark so I recommend trying to find it in the daylight. The security guard was helpful though. Couldn’t open the front door with the access code but the owner was very quick to provide assistance getting into the home with a new code.

Words cannot describe what a paradise this place was! It’s beautiful, quiet (away from the hustle from Tamarindo but close enough to go there) a piece of heaven in the nature, with monkeys, iguanas, birds and huge crickets! Really loved the place!

Great property for family and relaxing.

Great property that was centrally located to many beaches or stay at the house and enjoy the wildlife and pool. We saw monkeys, birds and lizards. It was wonderful.
