Casa de Armonía is within a mile of Tamarindo Beach with its long beginner-friendly waves, beachfront dining, world-class sunsets, and the famous Tamarindo estuary, brimming with native wildlife. You will be within walking distance of Siempre Fresco (a local grocery store known for excellent produce - just at the end of the street) and Auto Mercado, the largest US-style grocery store with the best selection of imports, is just a minute's drive down the road. There is also a collection of walkable shops, including Tamarindo Coffee Roasters, a gym, an Italian specialty grocery, and Rural, a popular open-air restaurant with traditional Tico fare.
This beautiful home boasts a spacious private backyard with a private saltwater pool, a wooden patio, an outdoor dining area, and a gas BBQ. During the day, a pack of green parakeets noisily flit about the branches of the trees, and hummingbirds frequent the wall of bright red hibiscus along the fence line when in bloom. If you're lucky, you may see a troop of howler monkeys visit in the afternoon during dry season, and in the evenings, you can sit on the patio under the warm string lights or while the kids play in the multicolor LED-lit pool. A convenient outdoor shower is available in the backyard to wash off sandy feet.

The interior of this home blends modernity and rustic charm, with natural accents throughout. The whole family can spread out comfortably on the large sectional. This house has a triple-filtration drinking water system with a dedicated dispenser near the kitchen sink, along with the usual water and ice dispenser in the full-size refrigerator. The well-equipped kitchen features all stainless steel appliances that will make cooking and entertaining a breeze. You can blend up smoothies for the whole family with the local produce from the Saturday Tamarindo farmer's market (don't miss the local guanábana and maracuyá!) and dine either at the kitchen island or alfresco on the outdoor, locally-crafted Guanacaste wood dining table under the covered patio.

The separate "casita" studio has a queen bed, en-suite bathroom, and small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, a sink, and a microwave. The master bedroom features a spacious king bed, en-suite bathroom, and a private en-suite patio with seating for two to help you unwind after a long day of adventuring. All rooms are equipped with a Dohm white noise machine for guest use. Additional conveniences include an available Pack N' Play, a high chair, a full size washer/dryer on-site, and an online house manual with entertainment recommendations and answers to FAQs.

The entertainment options in Tamarindo are endless, but if you want to see even more, Casa de Armonía is the perfect home base to experience some of the best Costa Rica offers. It's an easy, fully paved 1 hour drive from Liberia Airport. 3 minutes to Tamarindo Bay. 2 minutes to Tamarindo Estuary. 30 minutes to Playa Avellanas. 35 minutes to Playa Flamingo. 40 minutes by car to Las Baulas National Marine Park (the second largest nesting site in the world for the endangered leatherback sea turtle). 40 minutes to Playa Conchal or Playa Penca. 45 minutes to Playa Negra black sand beach. 1 hour 20 minutes to Playa Hermosa. 1 hour 45 minutes to Ostional National Wildlife Refuge (the largest of two locations in Costa Rica where the annual arribada or the arrival and nesting of olive ridley sea turtles take place). The Leona Waterfall and Rio Negro hot springs (both a 1:45 hour drive) and Rio Celeste Waterfall (3-hour drive) are common day trips, and if you're traveling to your next adventure, the amazing Monteverte Cloud Forest is a 3.5-hour drive through beautiful terrain.
