Waterfront 2-Bedroom House

Waterfront single level duplex located in a nice and convenient location about 3 miles from downtown Saint Pete. The house has a full stainless steel kitchen. High end furnitures, comfortable beds. Spacious bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom number 2 has a bunk bed with a queen bed and a full size bed. There is a laundry for guests use. Free parking and internet.

We offer FREE KAYAKS during your stay. Bring your boat, we have FREE BOAT PARKING; bring fishing rods, you can fish right from the docks. Our guests reported frequent sightings of dolphins, manatees and many sea animals.

DOCKS-We have 2 docks. 1 is available for guest use, the 2nd one is being rebuilt and expected to be completed asap.

Nice place for a short trip

This is a nice place for a short trip. The rooms are nice and large. There aren’t any dressers in the bedrooms. The beds and the sectional are very comfy. Needs dishcloths and potholders in the kitchen. Pier out front needs repair. Even with these things, we would probably stay again.

The property is close to everything. It was a very relaxing environment. We really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely recommend!

Sunrise by the lake

The stay overall was decent. The exact location was a little off. Definitely need curtains in the rooms and bigger ones in the living room. We bought some cheap curtains just to keep people from seeing in. Shower curtain needs to be wider. No dressers or tables to put things on or in the rooms. We did move the sofa. Wasn't close enough to see tv. We appreciate the fast responses to our questions and for coming quickly when needed. Thank you

They have remodeled an old 3 apartment building. Some things we nice like the kitchen. The bathroom was nice but very small with no counter room. The bedrooms needed a dresser to put you things, all they had was one nightstand, one bedroom with a lamp and the other with no lamp. The living room's TV has no internet which made it useless and both the curtain and blind did not fully close. Some of the air conditioning vents were old and wouldn't open all the way leaving one bedroom and living room warmer. The ad was not showing the correct location but the one next door. The morning shower did not give hot water for a long time if the neighboring apartment had taken the shower first. We left two days early.

Long weekend

The place was fine for what we needed, but it didn’t quite match the photos. There was no washer/dryer as listed, which was disappointing. The beds were very firm and not particularly comfortable. It feels like the property is in the middle of a renovation, but the updates aren’t being done thoroughly. About half the outlets didn’t work, and the WiFi was spotty and unreliable. Overall, it worked for a short stay, but we probably wouldn’t return.

Not what advertised

House had sticky floor, stale odor. I think it was a flood home. Back yard piles of debrie. Could not walk dogs there. Kitchen cabinets outside layer of grease and dust. Holes in walls. Pics were shining but not what I found.

disappointed with several aspects of this property, many of which were misrepresented or not disclosed in the listing.First, the “king bed” is actually two twin mattresses pushed together, which means you end up sliding into the gap in the middle all night. Extremely uncomfortable and definitely not a real king bed.The “water access” and “terrace/patio” are not private — they’re shared with all the other guests staying in the duplex and adjoining rooms. When others are using the kayak or pier, there’s basically no space or equipment left for anyone else. It felt more like a crowded hostel than a relaxing getaway.The shower curtain was visibly dirty, and the backyard was cluttered with debris, which made the outdoor space feel neglected. Parking is also a headache — it’s limited and shared among all guests, leading to double-parking and frustration.Additionally, the bathrooms have no A/C vents. You have to open a window just to get air circulation, which isn’t ideal, especially in the summer.Overall, the property felt overcrowded, poorly maintained, and misrepresented in the listing.

Partly renovated

This listing does not meet VRBO standards. The ad is not correct and pictures are misleading. The second bedroom has a queen bed NOT a set of bunks, a queen and a single as claimed. The ad said that washer & dryer were available which we assumed meant it was in the apartment. We would not have stayed if we’d had other options. We wasted the first night trying to get wifi to work, only to learn later that we’d been given the wrong information. The overall conditions of the apartment appear as if it was hurricane damaged and not fully renovated. The area under the bathroom sink was never sealed back up which might be how the cockroach got in. Baseboards and ceilings have peeling paint. . We had to live out of our suitcases. There are no dressers. Bedrooms have only a bed and one side table with lamps too low to read by. Bath towels are something from the rag bin. Bed linens are old and pilled. Linens look as they were purchased at a second hand store. The living room has a nice L-shaped sofa but no chairs. The curtains don't fully cover the front windows & I found a beer bottle behind them. While the kitchen table would have been a good place to use a laptop, there’s no plug nearby. We had to use the sofa end table. We couldn’t use the dishwasher because there wasn’t any dishwasher soap and because it appears not to be properly installed. It tips forward when opened. There was only one roll of toilet paper for 3 people for 4 days. That’s quite optimistic.
