The bungalow is conveniently accessed from the alley between the avenues. On-site parking is available for one vehicle, or two small/compact cars.

Hi Lynn, Thank you for your feedback. I do want to clarify a few points, as the listing details are accurate and clearly outlined. All photos in the listing are current and representative of the property, I personally took them and they have not been altered in a way that misrepresents the space- inside or outside. Regarding parking, access through the alley is explicitly stated in the listing description. While I understand this may not be your preference, it is disclosed upfront so guests can make an informed decision prior to booking. The property has dedicated parking in-front of the unit, a private courtyard and a private backyard. As for the bathroom, there is no exhaust fan; however, the bathroom does have a functioning window that opens for ventilation. This meets ventilation standards in Florida. In the future, I would recommend reviewing the full listing details prior to booking to ensure the property is a good fit for your preferences and expectations. Best, Valerie

Kitchen utensils were discussing and should have been trashed before we arrived. Walkway into the cottage was very dangerous. There was no place to put anything. Floor grout had lots of chips and crackers. The alley parking with trash cans was also discussing. Way to much dirt by Patio and in alley. Patio umbrella looked like it was never cleaned. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. We did leave early without getting any money back. I asked him to put it back on the market so we could recoup some of our money but, that didn't happen. DON'T RENT THIS DISCUSSING PLACE. I believe this is a slum landlord situation.

At no point during your reservation did you report any of these concerns or give us the opportunity to address them. Our team is highly responsive and would have immediately assisted if anything had been brought to our attention. Following your departure, the owner, property manager, and cleaning team conducted a full walkthrough, and none of the issues described were found. We also maintain time-stamped photos before and after each stay confirming the home is clean, well-maintained, and properly prepared for guests. You also did not cancel or modify your reservation, and there was documented re-entry to the property after you stated you had left. As a result, the dates remained unavailable for other guests, which is why a refund was not applicable under platform policy. For context, the home is located in a very desirable, quiet residential area of Gulfport, where alley access is standard for the neighborhood. The property itself is a well-maintained, high-value home, and we take pride in providing a quality experience for our guests, which is reflected in our consistent positive reviews. We stand by the condition of our property and our handling of this reservation.

Peaceful and Convenient!

We stayed for three nights and had a great time! The house was clean, it was tucked away off the road but they have clear insdirections for you and once you find it which didn’t take long at all itprivate, and in a great location — close to everything we needed but still nice and quiet. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog, which made the trip even better. Would definitely stay here again!

The Beachcomber is fantastic!! The neighborhood is quiet, the property itself is beautiful, clean, well kept, smells great, the yard is awesome for my 2 little fur babies. We couldn't ask for a better place to stay! The washing macgine and dryer was a huge plus, not to mention the most quiet a/c units around. Highly recommend. If i could give a 100 stars I would. Oh, and the host was fantastic with communication. Any question i had they answered within minutes!! Cannot wait to stay again!! Thank you!! 100/100 A

The bungelow is close to Gulport, though it would be a long walk. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The patio area was great..nicely shaded! We would definately stay again.

Very Cute Bungalow

We had a great experience staying at the Sand Dollar. Great getaway for you and your spouse/partner. Loved the outside deck. The property is on the other side of Gulfport Blvd. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Beach Blvd. The hosts were very communicative. We would definitely stay again.

I found it to be very well maintained and within great walking distance of the main street in Gulfport. Everything I needed was there. The host was excellent in communication.

Beautiful home in a great location

My husband and I were traveling across FL with our springer spaniel. The Sand Dollar Cottage was a perfect base for us to explore St Petersburg but also enjoy the friendly community of Gulfport. Besides the great location, the house itself is great - well maintained, has all the necessities, and cute (love all the decorations!). The owners were very responsive snd helpful with the directions. Very pleasant stay overall, thank you!

The Sand Dollar Bungalow

The hosts was very responsive and accommodating to our needs and requests. The house is in the older part of the community and needs some work, but I know they have plans to make some further updates. Great area! We were able to ride our bikes to downtown Gulfport which is on the bay and has cute shops and lots of great places to eat. Just a short drive to St Pete beach.

Lovely Town & House!

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is perfectly in the middle of downtown St. Pete and the beach! The only downside was the WiFi did not work, which we managed since we were rarely there. Other than that, it was a great stay!

The Sand Dollar

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was cozy and private, and the neighborhood was quiet. We could walk to Gulfport's waterfront and to Tomlinson Park and Clymer Park which were very convenient since we also had our dog with us. We were just a short drive from both the beaches and downtown St. Petersburg. Joseph was always quick to respond and very accommodating.

Our short stay was great! The home was the perfect size for two people! I had a couple questions and the owner was awesome at answering my questions fast and accurately! Loved the privacy with the fences in the front and back yard. Overall a great experience!
