We are a farm animal rescue in beautiful Tunbridge Vermont. We are a home to sheep, goats, ducks and a jersey cow named Aggie. All the farm animals are friendly and enjoy interacting with people. **This is a shared space** We live on the property in a separate wing of the house. The home is two capes joined by a large dining room. The kitchen is shared. There is an option for a separate/private entrance. Coffee from Vermont Coffee Company served in the morning.
Property was great and Steve was so helpful in helping us understand the farm. The downstairs room was perfect for my mom who is 87 and uses a walker.
We will miss the dogs and farm animals and would definately stay again when in VT
We were in the area to bury my Mom's ashes and have a celebration of life. We booked the whole house for the weekend. Missy and Steve are great hosts. They answered all of my messages/questions in the months leading up to that weekend. Missy spent time giving us a tour and introducing us to the animals.
The house is clean, comfortable and relaxing.
There is space on the deck to have a fire and sit outside.
We rented this house for friends of ours who were coming up to Vermont for our wedding. Missy was an incredibly friendly and accommodating host. The house itself is beyond amazing with all the charm of a rural country home but with absolutely none of the compromises. Everything was clean, beautiful, and comfotable. My friends were extremely satisfied with their stay and I would definitely rent this house again.
We loved the property and house itself is very roomy. Bedrooms are good size, beds are comfortable. And coffee with muffins in the morning was a cherry on our âstayâ cake.:)
We had a wonderful visit with family in Tunbridge. The house was better than expected; perfect for relaxing. The views were breathtaking. Steve and Missy were great hosts. We enjoyed hearing about the animal sanctuary, the animals and the future plans. These flatlanders will definitely be back!
The hosts were very friendly, but also gave us our privacy. They brought us out at dusk to see the animals and pet the sheep and goats. They told us about the great work they do there and stories of why some of the animals were rescued.
The house itself is very large and beautiful with many indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. Great views from nearly every room of the animals and the countryside. It feels secluded but is only minutes from the town.
