Welcome to my vacation home.
I should have everything you need for a weekend getaway or a month long stay.
I have a full fenced in back yard, and a large inviting deck with a view of the town.
I have 2 queen size beds and a couch.
There are TV's in both bed rooms and the living room with a connection to your favorite streaming platform. Netflix/Hulu etc. Full kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, dishes etc. Kureg coffee maker with K cups, cream and sugar.
Full sized bathroom with soap, shampoo conditioner, towels etc.
The location of my place behind the
Dary shack on the corner of 2nd street. Walking distance from the canoe rental so pretty close to current river.

Host was amazing. We really only needed one night to ride out some storms before our float and this house was perfectly located and very cute.

Home away from home

Plenty of room for 2people. Back fence on left side of yard needs to be more secure. Very comfortable beds and hot water and great water pressure

Good location in town

The location is good if you want to be in town. Can walk to several places to eat. Definitely not as clean as I prefer!

Very convenient

Owner was very nice and responsive. Location was great - right behind Dairy Shack. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Centrally located in town. Cute little property perfectly situated for access to all the Ozarks have to offer.

Family vacation.

Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Great location within walking distance to town and river. Owner was very quick to communicate and answer any questions. Will stay her again if ever back in Eminence.

Family Trip

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We were pretty close to everything. We were walking distance to gas station and the dairy shack. Not too far from any sort of body of water. We were in the river most of the time. But it was definitely nice to come back to a well air conditioned house. Would stay here again!

Perfect Location

We stayed here to float Jacks Fork. We rented our kayaks from Windys. The location of the house was perfect for all that we did. To make it even better all we had to do was cross the street for some amazing ice cream at the Dairy Shack. 😉 If you enjoy walking pretty much everything in town was walkable. We loved it!!!!!

Quiet and cozy

The place was clean and comfortable, with snacks and a Keurig with plenty of K cups. We enjoyed the deck off the front door. It's a short walk to the Dairy Shack, other restaurants, a grocery store, gas station, and some cute shops. Host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. There was a very minor issue and it was remedied in short order. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy home in the heart of Emminence, Missouri

We took a late October vacation to relax and enjoy the changing leaves in Shannon County. We found this home to be very well maintained. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom and the well-stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed restaurants within walking distance. It was nice to have freedom to move around and not be bothered by anyone. We also appreciated the property owner's assistance when we needed it. We would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet, private place to stay in Emminence.

Always a pleasure

This is one of our go to when coming to eminence. The house is quiet close to Dairy Shack , breakfast , and morning coffee, all walkable . The owner is great to work with when there is some unforeseeable issue and is quick to respond. The deck gives nice place to unwind whether you are floating , riding or hiking . I highly recommend

Rivertown stay

The location was great. Everything being walking distance was very convenient. We loved having the porch to relax on each morning and evening. The only down falls to the place was the cleanliness, there were spider webs throughout the house, the stool was dirty when we arrived and some of the bath towels smelled like they had soiled in the washer for a bit. Other than those small details the stay was great. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom,and appreciated the extra amenities. Like dish soap, hand soap coffee etc. overall We really enjoyed our trip..

Great Place To Stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My large family (20-30 people) travels to Eminence together every summer to visit the area where our family is from. Our group usually books up most of the local motel but this year my husband and I had our 1 1/2 year old and we wanted a place where he would have plenty of room to run and play, and a place where we wouldn’t have to worry about close neighbors in case of a meltdown or two lol. This place was perfect! It was so cute and cozy! There was plenty of room for us and the best part, it was right up the hill behind Dairy Shack! The hosts were more than accommodating! We will definitely be booking this place for years to come! Amazing place.

Great Location

The location of this property is perfect. You can walk across the street to Dairy Shack and get good food and ice cream. The gas station and hardware store are also that close. You are 1 minute from the entrance to a large camp ground and 1 minute from river access. Having laundry also helps but the best part is the property owner. He was the easiest to work with. I had some questions and he was very prompt and nice! I highly recommend this listing AND any listing this owner has as he was so great to work with. We will be back and it was perfect for us!!

Everything was as expected as I know the area well. However, the floor was not swept or vacuumed well at all and my friend was injured by stepping on slivers of glass that had apparently been broken at some time.

We had a great time and enjoyed the town and the rental. We did not have access to the washer and dyer as stated in the listing but we made do. The house could use some "kid friendly" cups and more forks and some dish towels/pot holders. Other then that it was great and neatly set up. The owner allowed us to check in early due to a death in the family. After driving 16hrs that was very much appreciated. Will rent again in the future.

SPRING BREAK GETAWAY

The cabin was perfect! Upon arrival the tvs were tuned the correct places. The cabin was neat & clean and was supplied with fresh towels, soaps, shampoo and hair dryer. There was a Keurig coffee maker with coffee & hot chocolate pods ready for us. And for breakfast there was sweet rolls & instant oatmeal packets. We had received a message from the owner stating where the key would be, his phone number and a message stating if we had questions or problems to feel free to call. Our cabin was located close to anything we needed in town. We would definitely rent from him again and we highly recommend it! Thank you Joseph!!!

Good Time in Emminence

The location is good if you want to be in the center of town. Nice deck to sit and people watch and you can walk to multiple restaurants. Overall it suited our needs and we had a wonderful time.

Great property in the middle of Eminence, MO

This house was recently redone inside and is a great place to stay for the weekend. It was central to our float as well as Peck Ranch, Rocky Falls, Blue Spring, and Big Spring. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well. Most importantly, it was across the street from The Dairy Shack, which has fantastic food as well as ice cream of all kinds. The property owner was great with communication and was very helpful. We are likely to return.

Perfect for a float trip

We’ve stayed here twice because it’s a great location for a Jacks Fork float trip. Windy canoe rentals will pick you up and drop you off at the VRBO. The house is comfortable and well-stocked but also just steps away from a Sinclair convenient mart and The Dairy Shack. There are also a couple of restaurants and bars in walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious upper-level deck and watching the town activity.
