Cabin located up a private road on a ridge above pine hollow, driveway is fairly steep, but not bad. Property is 200 acres surrounded by Rocky Creek conservation land. Our home is located on the property just past the cabin. ATV access trails to State land close by. Trails and dirt road access to Eminence where a variety of trails are also available to ride. Enjoy day trips to the Jack Fork River, Current River, Eleven Point River, Rocky Falls, Blue Spring and Klepzig Mill. Canoe, kayak, rafting and tubing outfitters close by. The space Quiet, remote and secluded area. Only 7 miles from Eminence and 5 to the Jacks Fork River. We rarely see our guests except occasionally in passing. We believe in giving people their privacy.
It was perfect place to stay! Secluded, yet close to town. Was basically in middle of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, was able to visit all of the NPS places to see within the Scenic Riverways
We absolutely loved this place! Everything was so perfectly curated from the art work to the light fixtures to the extremely comfortable furniture. They have an epic DVD collection along with Direct TV. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen too. Its also the perfect distance from town. Still very close but very secluded. Even the little road to get to the property is charming. We cant wait to stay here again!
Beautiful cabin surrounded with woods, we saw three turtles and made friends with lots of bugs. We were a lot closer to the owners than I thought, but they were very kind people. They were very active on communication as well!! Would recommend
Everything about the Collier Cozy Cabin was spot on. Easy check-in. Full accommodations, Kitchen, bath, Laundry, etc.The gravel driveway is a bit steep but had no problems navigating it. Very Quiet location. The covered porch was nice during the rain we had. Would certainly recommend to a friend.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed. Very nice owners. We even took a look through Jodyâs store in Eminence.
We stayed 5 nights in this cabin and it was exactly what we were looking for! Very peaceful and secluded with great owners. We brought our SXS and as promised it had direct trail access to take you to eminence and anywhere else you might want to explore. If you are looking for something close to town but atill want your privacy than this is the place for you
Our stay was perfect for what we needed which is rest, reset and refreshment when not working. We were surrounded by nature. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Our stay was cut short because of heavy rains and storms and some roads being impassible to the cabin.
Had a wonderful time at this cabin. Cabin was well supplied with everything we needed and was very roomy. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed having a full kitchen, grill and washer/dryer. It was very wooded so not unexpectedly we did have multiple bugs in the cabin to kill each day but they were your run of the mill woods bugs and nothing harmful and no fault of the host, just part of nature :). Driveway was steep but our car did fine. You do have to cross a creek which we were surprised by on a county road but again, our car did fine, even after it rained. All in all, it was great and we wouldn't hesitate to book here again if in the area.
This was a great pick of a place to stay. Nice, well kept cabin at the top of a kind of steep driveway. Not really a problem for my wife's Jeep Renegade front wheel drive. Secluded, quiet spot on 200 acres and park land beyond. Trying to escape a little late Summer Texas heat and succeeded as a couple of mornings hit upper 30s early October. We went to Alley Springs, Blue Spring, Rocky Falls , hiked the loop on the property, and went to Shawnee Creek Campground to hike around to try and view wild horses. None there. I think we went too late in the day. We ate at a couple of places in Eminence and shopped there. We had a good time. Friendly people. We used the WI - FI in the cabin for internet. The AC unit in the window is also a heater. The info you need is in the notebook. Thanks Jody and Perry.
