Great clean place! Great location out away from people but a short drive to town. We had a nice quiet stay. Very handy they had everything we needed for cooking and any other needs. The hosts are very friendly and assured us if we needed anything to just call. We Had plenty of sights to see in the area and we plan to visit again soon!
Very clean accommodations. Very secluded location. Private, peaceful, and quiet. Very relaxing environment. We found it to be a very good central location for going out and exploring the trails.
My sister's and I stayed for a weekend at the Tiny House and we loved everything about it. The host was wonderful and helpful and we felt right at home.
We stayed here just to get away for the weekend. We were blown away with how much we loved it. We were greeted by âCarlâ the cat. Our stay was very quiet but full of sights. The horses are so fun to just sit and watch. We also had all 3 guard dogs come join us for dinner one night lol. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed! We are definitely going to be coming back!
Really enjoyed staying at the tiny home, hostess was super nice and communicative, property was comfortable, clean and wonderfully located near all the parks/trails.
We loved the scenery. Traveling up the mountain road and all the way down to the current river. Absolutely loved the craftsmanship of the cabin. It was beautiful. Owners were accessible if needed and gave great suggestions on places to visit.
This place is in a perfect location if you're looking for peace and quiet and beautiful scenery. Check in and out was very easy and lots of helpful information was provided by the host. I'll definitely stay again!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this property in the Tiny House with our dogs. Everything was fantastic! The property was beautiful and the house was clean and just the right size to fit all of us. We will definitely be back when we need a weekend away!
We absolutely loved this location!! Quiet spot in the county, close drive to both current river and downtown. The only suggestion would be to have a better selection of firewood.
This was perfect for two adults on fishing trip. Hosts were great to work with. Super clean cabin way back in the woods. Loft beds were comfortable. Really cool place-looks even better in person than in the pics. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice cozy cabin, well equipped with cookware, utensils, appliances, gas and charcoal grill. Bathroom is a little small for tall people. Loved the seclusion, no traffic to bother you. Great stay!!
This is an A+ proberty! The cabin was great and the view was awesome. So close to everything I love about the Ozarks, hiking, floating and they have horse back rides on site.
This place was amazing! Highly recommend for couples that need some time away, for relaxation, time together, and great places to see. Owners are great, and excellent communication. This little place of theirs is amazing! The cabin is beautiful, small, but has everything u need. And plenty of little hidden closet spaces.
If you are a big person the tiny house experience may not work for you, but I really enjoyed my first experience. Lovely home/property/area and very nice hosts (thanks again to Lisa for going above and beyond and saving our bacon). The screened in porch was a real plus!
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend in Eminence, MO which included a visit to Echo Park, four out of six of the beautiful springs, Rocky Falls and a 12 mile float down the current river.
The Old Desperado Ranch was centrally located and provided everything we needed for a two night stay with our 15 year old beagle. Will recommend a trip to Eminence, MO and a stay at ODR to friends and family.

Impossible sleeping accommodation
The pry was the sleeping accommodation. We were told that there were two lofts, one with a ladder and one with stairs. Unfortunately my wife was not able to sleep in the bed because you had to crawl to reach the bed by the ceiling was so low. It was dangerous for me and I am a mobile retired person. We stayed two nights of the four we paid, couldnât stand the thought of another night.
I am 70 and did just fine going up very small steps to go to bed. 90% of my friends could not have climbed a ladder or the steps with a railing a few inches tall. This should be a warning for anyone renting this. We did fine, there were no problems except I felt the owner did not want me to bother them.
The Tiny House we stayed in is located down a dirt road. The only issue we had at all was there is a small sign stating the name of the place, but it could be missed. If one is not used to traveling down dirt roads it might be a little intimidating. Also, a low riding car may have difficulty traveling down the road.We are used to roads like this so it really wasn't an issue. It is a very nice "Tiny House", and had everything we needed. Very relaxing, and the scenery is just beautiful in the area. I would recommend it for sure.
