A very peaceful getaway with everything you need to relax after a long day floating on the river. Only downside was the shower; it was either really hot or really cold even with very tiny adjustments to the temp.
Came down from Jefferson City for a 2 night stay to canoe on the current river. Property was very clean and even though it is pretty small it had all the amenities we needed. Great place to get away, very relaxing.
Nice location.Host provided helpful information about the area and offered additional amenities if needed. Several extraâs provided in the cabin. Our family had great time.
The cabin was nice, clean, and the location was good, close enough to town, but out of the way and peaceful! The only âcomplaintâ would be the shower, we could not get the temperature regulated at all. We were told it was touchy, but it was either scalding hot or ice cold, the only time it was warm was when it was transitioning between hot and cold. It would stay warm for about 10 seconds before going all hot or all cold. I stayed in the shower for 15 minutes trying to figure out how to keep it at a tolerable temperature, it never stayed, so showers were fast. Donât expect a long relaxing shower after a day at the river. Other than that, the place is nice and comfortable!
We stayed 2 nights, canoeing nearby Jacks Fork River in between. Used the cabin for sleeping and cleaning up, but spent the majority of time by the fire pit. Friendly farm dogs came to visit us. The night skys were amazing to see, since there is no light nearby obstruct your view.
We stayed the weekend for my husband's birthday. The cute little cabin was just right for our visit. It is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is quite a distance north of Eminence, but that's what we wanted. The host was attentive but not intrusive. It was a relaxing weekend and just what we needed.
The cabin is located on my childhood property where I was born and raised. My husband and I moved back here to raise our children in a rural community. We are small farmers with cattle, chickens, a horse, cats and our dogs. We have a couple border collies that help work the cattle. We are retired and decided to host to give us a secondary income and to share our piece of Godâs Country that we are blessed to own!
This is a rural community. The cabin overlooks a couple of our hay fields with opportunities to view wildlife, pick wildflowers or kick back and watch the stars! The Milky Way is amazing in the front yard.
The cabin is located on about 40 acres with guest access to about 5 acres to park, walk, take a run or just relax at the outdoor patio table and chairs.
