Spacious Lake Front Home with beautiful Gardens, Pond, Waterfall, Pool, & Dock

The property has a beautifully landscaped pond with koi fish and a waterfall, as well as a large heated indoor pool and spa. The large den has a pool table. we are on the lake and we have a boat dock. There is also a fire pit. My husband and I live on the property in a separate apartment (not attached to the house), so we will be here to immediately respond to any needs that you may have during your stay and we look for ways to make your stay special and memorable, while also giving you your privacy. The property is conveniently only 8 minutes from the highway. We look forward to hosting you at Misty Pond - your private resort! Great for flexcations/ ideal work/play destination. Discounts for longer stays. We have a pontoon boat which you can book charter boat rides and Taxi trips to the many restaurants and parks on the lake!
Note: Because of the water activities and fire pit on the property you will be required to sign a waiver agreement of release of liability.

The Misty Pond Resort Delights!

We have stayed at many short-term rentals and The Misty Pond stands out as one of the most impressive! The grounds are breathtaking and beautifully well-maintained. The house was a perfect fit for our family with children as they would end each day playing in the pool while we made dinner. Missy obviously loves this property and allowing others to enjoy it! We give the Misty Pond 11 out of 10 stars!

Perfect experience

This property and the host Misty and her husband were wonderful! Friendly and helpful! We had everything we needed. The property was so beautiful and relaxing!! Morning coffee by the waterfall and nature and wildlife was very calming. The walk to the lake was convenient and the kids loved the indoor pool and the fire pit. It was a comfortable and tremendous stay. Everyone enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks.

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding. The house was the beat place to enjoy some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle. The kids played in the pool while the adults played pool or sat and relaxed! Watching the deer while drinking my coffee was the best. We even saw a red fox! Missy and her husband we the best. So friendly and inviting. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Missy and Steve’s home. The house and property are beautiful and they did everything to accommodate us. If we go back to Lake Lanier we will be staying at their house again.

Family Wedding

The home was perfect for us as we traveled from Louisiana to attend a family wedding. It exceeded all our expectations plus more. propertyThe host thought of EVERYTHING!!! PERFECT accommodation for bridal party, wedding party and a family/friends brunch. Several guests told me that this property was the highlight of a wedding weekend that included the Botanical Garden and The Chair Factory! Hosts are beyond gracious!

Wonderful spacious home!

Our family selected this property for space and location for us to be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving getaway! We truly had the best time whether it was baking in the kitchen, working puzzles and playing games at the large dining table, watching football or the Thanksgiving parade as we swam in the wonderful indoor pool. We could not have had a better experience. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays and absolutely perfect for our time away.

We had a furniture repair business for 30 years and were ready to retire from having a larger business with employees to doing something with less stress and more fun! We hope to be able to bring peace, restoration, and fun to families and friends at our beautiful Misty Pond Resort.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My husband and I fell in love with the property and had to have it! We also wanted to share its beauty with others, so the perfect way to do that was by short-term rentals. We had the idea to make it into a private resort for families and friends to come and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of nature and of being together having fun! Come and enjoy wildlife, gardens, forest, water activities, and so much more!

This is not just a home- it is a resort property packed with things to do such as swimming, kayaking, nature trails, basketball, and much more! We also feel that having us on the property is a benefit because while we give you your privacy we can also be available if you need anything or have any special requests. We try to do little things throughout your stay to make it more special. Never hesitate to let us know how we can make your stay better and memorable so that you will want to come again and again!
