A small condo/townhouse in a quiet neighborhood next to a pond and trees in backyard. Has a 2 car garage, hot tub in the garage and 2 bedroom/2 bath. Very close to Ball State and other conveniences.
Certainly could tell an elderly couple must have been the owners of this condo. Pet odors were left behind and several things needed repair that previous guests have left notes about in the guest book at the condo, such as the toilet paper holder.
Unit was very clean and the beds were comfy. Nice quiet neighborhood, but it is also conveniently close to the shopping and dining places along the main thoroughfare. Liked the balcony and lower patio with the view of the pond. Geese were nesting on the lakeshore, and they were a little noisy at times, but thats nature! The hot tub was a nice bonus. The only drawback to be aware of is the stairs, as it is a split level. The stairs are very steep, which could be a problem for older people or people with mobility problems. There is a chair lift for the upstairs. We will probably stay there again the next time we visit Muncie.
Trees in bloom--white out every window. Stairs steep, handrail difficult to hold on to. Did not care for Roku. No ABC, NBC, CBS which meant I could not watch NCAA final game!!! I like local and national news. Bedrooms, living room, baths and kitchen were fine. French/Paris decor was a bit over the top.We enjoyed time with family and our visit to BSU. We enjoyed the wild life. A mother goose was sitting on her nest.
We really enjoyed our experience staying in this condo. It was a little tricky to find in the dark but we did make it with a little extra effort. The hot tub was a great touch in the winter but we did accidentally lock ourselves in the garage. Communication with the host was easy and a plumbing problem was fixed right away even on a Saturday. Only con for us was bed comfort but we would still stay again.
Property manager did not send the access code ahead of time. When I contacted them about an hour and a half before our arrival, they still did not send before our arrival. We were at the condo standing outside for over ten minutes before the code was finally sent (after many contact attempts) and the owner was not nice about it. Would not rent from this property owner again.
The property was nice. I had a bit of confusion trying to read house numbers from main drive, but after understanding them it was fine. I had to buy coffee for the coffee pot, none was available in the property. Could have been an oversight. Overall, we had an enjoyable time. We would return if we're back in the area. Thanks
Visiting family. Great location. Loved being on the lake. Very clean. Very quiet location. The stairs are small and steep so folks can use the chair lift if needed. Was great to have the garage to keep the vehicle in. Everything you should need for a short or long stay.
This property suited us perfectly as we helped our daughter purchase and move into her new home in Muncie! The location just off McGalliard had everything we could need or want. The accommodations were clean and comfortable!
Very nice condo. Very clean which is very important to me. Was decorated with a Christmas tree for our December visit! Very close to anything you need.
This condo is well-furnished, clean and comfortable. It's equipped with everything you might need for a stay near Ball State University. The neighborhood is quiet and seems very safe. The Paris- and Euro-themed decor was a little weird for Muncie, Indiana. A theme involving cardinals or Indiana wildlife would be more appropriate, but didn't really interfere with my stay.
The check-in process could have been more convenient. They required me to call to get the access code (and suggested calling a week in advance.) This should be sent via VRBO messaging several days in advance of arrival.
I was also disappointed with the property manager's reaction when I called to say that a periodic alarm started going off at 6:30 a.m. at the condo's disability lift chair. He expected me to try various methods to fix it myself. "Did you try this? Did you try that?" I was no longer at the condo at that point. When I asked him to send someone over to fix it, he said first that he didn't like to send someone into a rental while it was occupied. He also said he hadn't seen my message sent in writing through VRBO because "I have 17 properties to manage."
Everything ended well, though. He finally sent a maid, who was able to figure out how to stop the alarm.
