This is a historic single family house in the North End. Close to restaurants, downtown and boardwalk. Short 10 min walk to the beach & boardwalk.
The house is equipped with beach gear, 6 beach tags, board games & puzzles. Access to outside locked storage for your beach gear. There is a set of bed linens (we do ask that guests place them in a bag in the foyer before they leave). We don't provide bath or beach towels.
It has a full kitchen, coffee bar and a gas grill outside.
Unwind and relax in a quiet neighborhood on the large covered front porch with awnings.
We are upgraded the three bathrooms during the spring 2022. We added a tub to the first floor bathroom & 2nd floor laundry.
We had a fantastic stay â loved the common areas where all the family could hang out in the living room and dining room and front porch. Great air conditioning which was appreciated during a hot week. Itâs a short 10 min walk to the beach and even shorter walk to a few different coffee shops, smoothies, ice cream, and farmers market in the park on Wednesday morning. Hope to come back one day!
Our stay was very nice. Paul was very helpful. We needed an extension cord for mom's rented Electric scooter. He provided one. He had several outside grills to use, with attending accessories. The house was nice. I liked the fact we were in the historic district and read up about it and it's boundaries.
We enjoyed our family trip to OC, NJ. The house was perfectly located in walking distance to the start of the boardwalk and even a local coffee shop. We did have a few minor issues during our stay but the host was super responsive and came right over to help us. The property may not be best for those that cannot handle steps as there are 2 flights of stairs. It was nice to have an ice machine and a full kitchen. Make sure to bring towels and coffee. We would stay again if in the area.
This is a great little property with owners onsite to assist with every need. It's several blocks from the beach/boardwalk so we used our cars to shuttle grandparents and equipment as needed. The adults rode our bikes or just relaxed and enjoyed the 10/15-minute walk. The tradeoff is worth it though. The property is on a quiet, tree-lined street with little through traffic making time spent reading on the front porch enjoyable. As expected, parking is an issue from Friday to Monday wherever you stay but it is much better midweek the further you are from the beach. We loved grilling in the well-lit backyard and having two outdoor tables to accommodate our large party. Mostly, we appreciate that the home has not been divided into 2 units, enabling all of us to stay in one place and really feel like it was one big family vacation! We hope to stay there again next year!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few blocks away from the shops and beach/boardwalk. Space was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Lovely front porch and rear patio. Host was very helpful and communication was prompt.
Enjoyed our staff at the house over Labod Day weekend. Quiet street , nice neighborhood. Owners were great responding to all our needs! The extra sheets, and kitchen supplies were truly appreciated!
Nice house in the quiet area of the historic section. Plenty of room for our large family and also pet friendly. Paul the owner was very responsive. Best part is the front porch where we spent a lot of time relaxing. Great coffee shop nearby called Positively 4th Street. Overall great stay.
The house was perfect for our family of young adults with partners and dogs. The neighborhood was quiet and a short walk to town. The beach is a 10 minute walk. There are several coffee shops nearby. The house had a fully equipped kitchen and a backyard with grill. We all loved sitting on the front porch reading, talking and relaxing. We would definitely rent it again.
