WINTER RENTAL - Single Family House Sleeps 8

I grew up in Delaware and going to the Beaches and the Jersey SHORE. I fell in love with Ocean City years ago and had an opportunity to buy this unique bungalow back in 2001, the same time I moved back to the Philly - Wilmington area. The house was a when I bought it; but having had construction and swimming pool experience since I was 17 years, I jumped on the project. It was fun and the home and pool are the most rewarding part of my spring-summer-falls. I TRULY believe, like my family and several regular clients, that your family will will indeed enjoy our special home away from home.

My best childhood memories were with family at the beaches of Lewis and Rehoboth DE, LBI, Avalon and Ocean City NJ. I was offered an inexpensive opportunity rent a brand new unsold home back in the spring of 2001. A friend of a friend realtor toured some 30 homes over that week in Ocean City, before I decided on the home across the street from where I was staying and I have never looked back! Ocean City is truly the safest, most relaxing family vacation town in the area.

It is one of the few remaining single family bungalow, built in 1927 with a real sense of that eras' craftsmanship. The real beauty for us older folks is that the house is only 4 steps up from the front yard and 2 steps up to the house in the backyard. The circular room flow make it great for entertaining; while a den off to the side with doors makes it a decent place for those that can't always get away from the office. The big room upstairs is made for kids and can easily fill comfortably with more than four. Pool-side BBQ and dining until 10pm is pretty much a 7-night affair for most of our guests. Don't forget your bathing suit and to warm the up in the dryer before getting out of the pool at night!
