Summer

Beautiful cabin exactly described. The A/C fully kept up when it was over 100 degrees outside every day. Unfortunately didn't get to spend any time on the decks or hot tub because it was just too hot outside. Awesome location about 15 min to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Exactly as described in listing. Can't wait to book again!

Much nicer in person!

The cabin was nice and very clean. Much nicer in person than what you get from the pictures. Loved the location on the mountain. Perfect place in between the crowds of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We even saw a bear walk by the cabin a few times! We enjoyed our stay!

Family fun

This cabin was perfect for our family with three children. Plenty of space. Everything was clean, you went straight to the cabin, no extra step for check in. My kids are already asking to come back next year.

Our 2nd Stay

It was meant to be. We only had 2 days in the area on our drive down south. My son asked if we could stay at the bear cabin(what he calls it) we stayed at with the family a few years ago. It was available those exact 2 days! The family had a great time again. Everything was clean, great communication and the location is perfect. It’s the kids happy place!

Great cabin!

Getting to the cabin is quite an adventure - but to be expected based on the location. It's a hilly climb, but after a couple of times, it became second nature. Overall the cabin is quite amazing. Beautiful and absolutely perfect for a good sized party. The kitchen was very well appointed, the grill had adequate propane and was ready to go, and there were plenty of plates, pans, utensils, etc. for preparing meals. Overall, we had a blast and the owners were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cabin . It was clean and had everything we needed . The only complaint would be you might need to bring some extra towels because there was only 6 but other than that it was great . David King is great host and I would recommend him for sure . I actually got sick when we was supposed to leave on Saturday and David ended up letting us stay one more day because of me being sick ! So thank you very much for that !

Nice cabin

Cabin was clean and as described. Comfortable. Directions to avoid steep hill were useful. Not having cell service e prevented accurate rerouting so difficulty locating cabin. The listing had the map with option for directions. It took us to incorrect address so didn’t help with locating the cabin which was 1539 but address on map was 1543 which did not exist. Nice place. Lister communicated very well and promptly.

Cute mountaintop cabin, perfect size for family

Loved this cabin for our family vacation. So much room and so many activities. Our three kids (14, 11, & 8) really enjoyed the bunk beds downstairs. I cherished playing pool with them, and introducing them to games my wife and I grew up with on the barrel video game console. Wonderful location, right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, very convenient for whatever adventures you have planned. David (host) was very welcoming and responsive. He checked on us throughout the stay and even had a reminder message before checkout so I didn't have to scroll through past messages. Would absolutely stay here again. Everything we needed was available. We did breakfast in the cabin every morning before venturing out for the day. A must stay!

Perfect location

The cabin was exactly as listed, very clean and had a nicely equipped kitchen. We loved the extra cozy blankets placed throughout and the extra towels. The communication was also really great. The location of the cabin could not be more perfect, very easy to get into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

Great Weekend Getaway

Our family visited the area for a sporting event. It was the perfect place for our family of 8. We had plenty of space and privacy. They even had baby gates which was a lifesaver for our little guy.

Take my money and run

Tried canceling reservation 18 hrs after making it, was up to the host discretion, wouldn’t work with us or communicate with us, a voucher would have sufficed on a available date in July, simply got ghosted…… had the gull to charge a host fee that was more than the rental fee and possible cleaning charge while our infant toddler couldn’t crawl on the floor bc it was so filthy

Wonderful stay

It was the first time my kids and mom experienced the mountains and they loved the cabin. Very nice and clean. Hot tub was also amazing. Stocked with all the amenities needed. Great communication with the owner. He was great! We would definitely stay there again.

Our family fell in love with the Smokies when on a vacation when our kiddos were little. We made the great choice to buy the cabin so we could enjoy it and share it with other families to create memories.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This cabin has a great location and it's perfect for a family or two small families. We love the new hot tub and arcade table. Our kiddos sleep great in the basement where it's quiet. The cabin is nicely decorated for the mountain-feel and has easy access to the mountain attractions in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It's just 10 minutes from the main parkway.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love this cabin because of the convenient level parking for 2-3 cars. It's an easy walk to the covered porch which has 2 rockers and a glider. We also love the open floor plan, the new grill & picnic table on the back porch. We also love the new hot tub and arcade table. The pool table is always a big hit. And the mattresses on the beds are new and comfy for a good night's rest.
