Enjoy the magnificent 180-degree ocean views offered from this wonderful well-equipped oceanfront home. Watch the Ocean Sunrise while relaxing on the porch swing with the morning's first cup of coffee. Plan your day's activities, catch up on the latest family news or count the evening stars with the kids! It's just a short walk to the community pool and tennis courts and a short drive to the Currituck Club golf course, shopping and restaurants. All king and queen bedrooms are oceanfront and open to the decks.

Ground Level: Has a den with a Queen sleep sofa, TV, foosball, refrigerator. The laundry and a half bath are also on this level.

Mid Level: Features a Queen mbr and a mbr with 2 Bunk sets. A second Queen room shares a bath with a room with 2 Singles. An outdoor hot tub and covered decks on this level provide more enjoyment for the family.

Top Level: Has a well-equipped kitchen with new appliances, large dining area with 2 round tables ideal for meals or family game time, a spacious great room that opens to a screened porch and a sun deck perfect for reading a book or enjoying incredible views of the beach. Also on this level is a King mbr with Jacuzzi. A few steps up you will find a Queen mbr and a loft and sitting area with a 46 in. LCD TV/DVD. Here you will find the most incredible views of the beach from the deck.

Gorgeous location!!

Gorgeous location with easy beach access. Furniture could use some upgrades. Needed additional bedding and sent text to Barbara who said she would get on it yet we never received any. Over all it was an amazing stay!! Would definitely return!

Perfect location and dolphin views

Awesome views of the ocean from the third and fourth level. We saw dolphins almost every day. The location is excellent as it feels remote but is close to amenities. We went all the way from Corolla to Hatteras and enjoyed all of the museums, lighthouses, and restaurants

Great Get-away

Our group of 9 ladies loved our stay at this beautiful ocean-front house. It was spacious and clean! Lots of bathrooms and a fully-stocked kitchen. This is a greatvhome for large groups!

The house was perfect for 3 couples. Kitchen stash of dishes, cookware and utensils was excellent. However, shortly after check-in, we were invaded by ants, kitchen and bath on main floor but were found in the bedrooms as well.Ant traps were purchased by guest but did not help. Oh gosh where do I start. I remember booking my trip with VRBO and don't know who VACAS is but they are the one who has been in communication with me. The house was iin terrible shape, didn't get in at 4pm had to wait until 5pm where it would have been longer wait if we didn't wait by the house while the housekeeper were done with the house. The VACASA didn't even send message to let us know the house was ready. Found the house very dirty, spiderweb all around the outside deck, found ants and roach and they had some nerve to ask me to send them photos so I did and they sent someone to spray. I have small grandchildren with bottles and still saw so many ants on the kitchen countertop. We didn't even enjoy the deck because of spiderweb. The house has aged and dust under the bed, past renters left trash on the deck and the cleaners didn't even clean them out. Not sure if I am going to use VACASA or VRBO.

OBX Vacation/Family get together

Ocean Sunrise was a large, beautiful home. We had 14 people ages 3-79 from New York, Washington D.C., Arizona and Seattle WA. The home accommodated us well and perfect for our size and age groups. The ocean view from the 3rd floor and balcony decks were excellent. Pros: Location. quiet neighborhood. Home to our left was occupied and the home to our right not occupied. Very short walk to beach/ocean. 50 steps on doon crossing steps. Land side steps were recently replaced. Lifeguard station nearby and manned 9-5. We had had one contact with Vacasa during our visit for a ceiling fan not operating in one bedroom. The problem was addressed one day later and fan replaced on Wednesday of our stay. The separate ice machine was a life saver. Provided plenty of ice for beach chests and home use. There were plenty beach supplies available: 7 or 8 beach chairs, 3 or 4 'boogie' boards, 1 beach umbrella, small portable wading pool for young ones and ton of various play toys for beach. Cons: No information on house operation especially for TVs. Took several hours to figure how to use remotes to select programs. Each TV required 2 remotes. House not suitable for people who have balance or walking issues due to steps in house and walk to beach. Our times driving was adequate. No long traffic jams. We arrived around 3pm and house was ready for occupancy. Overall, our vacation with family at Ocean Sunrise was excellent and I would recommend staying here.

Great views and proximity to the beach.

The house is very spacious and offers almost everything you need in the kitchen. It was clean for the most part, minus the gnats and flies. The views from the porch are fantastic and has a great little table outside to enjoy breakfast with the views. Just a short walk to the beach. Access needs a little work with some loose boards and steps. Great house, overall I give it a 8/10

Great for rest and relaxation

The home was comfortable and had everything we needed, including easy access to the beach. we appreciated the multiple bathroom, all couples and families had their own bathroom (10 people in total stayed). We would stay here again.

Quick getaway

The view was stellar. The house had lots of space and the rooms provided enough privacy. The kitchen was well stocked and equipped with everything you could need. Plenty of seating and parking. Hot tub was a nice place to relax. If you don’t like steps, be aware that the dunes here are very tall. There are around 45 of them to get over the dunes.

Christmas in July

Our family of 15 got perfectly in this house. Every family had enough space where you didn’t feel cramped. The pool was a short walk and the views of the ocean were incredible. The kitchen was very well stocked with whatever appliance you could possibly need! We will definitely be back to this house in the future!

Great Beach week

Beautiful views of the ocean and so convenient to be right on the beach! The house had great amenities and fully stocked kitchen for all your needs. The downstairs A/C was broken when we arrived but Vacasa responded immediately and brought over window units so the bedrooms were very comfortable. The ice machine broke as well mid week and was not able to be fixed which was inconvenient. Overall - wonderful house and wonderful stay!

Goregous views

This home has gorgeous views of the Ocean from the home. Multi layer decks for viewing. Lots of space to move around and for little ones to play. Only giving a 4 as the water pressure in the showers is lacking. Easy fix. The master bath shower head is okay, pressure was low. The other two bathrooms recommend new shower heads, with a separate attachment for cleaning out the shower. One likes to think they get all the shampoo out and the tub/shower is clean with multi people using. Great for large families and those who want to see the Ocean.

Loved Ocean Sunrise!

The original property we rented up in the 4x4 had a problem with the well so Vacasa worked with us and put us in this property instead. We felt like it was a blessing since our daughter broke her leg the week before we came to Corolla. The location was fantastic and the house was beautiful and very comfortable. And that view!! Gorgeous! The photos aren’t updated and there is a brand new kitchen and the floors have been redone on the main living level. We really have no complaints aside from the cleanliness of the place. We feel that the cleaning service could have done a better job. Would definitely rent it again!

great views, privacy and beautifully laid out home

a perfect place to get away from city life for a while, and enjoy the natural beauty of the outer banks. the house is very well stocked for home cooking, and with the many outdoor spaces, a great place to relax and enjoy being outside. on top of that, you are only 50 steps away from the beach - and a quieter part of the beach at that - which you can also see from the 3rd floor outdoor deck. this house seemed to be the best one in the neighborhood! we'd love to stay here again and are already thinking of when we might do just that.

Family Vacation

The house exceeded our expectations. The house was very roomy, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the entire family to gather as well as areas where you can “escape” for some alone time. The beach was a 5 minute walk(at most). There are a number of steps to climb. We spent all our time at the beach so we never went to the community pool. I would highly recommend this property.

Stay for the view

View cannot be beat and makes up for the parts of the house that are still dated. Photos are not up-to-date so know that the kitchen and flooring are all new. Best stocked kitchen we have ever had! Main floor bedroom will get woke up w the bright sun and no reprieve. 2nd floor bedroom by hot tub - just know it powers on about every 10 minutes all night long so light sleepers like me will r require ear plugs. Hot tub was very newish and so clean. Most bedrooms/baths are dated but again the view makes up for it. Enjoyed pickle ball courts (but bring own paddles).

Ants and water

The house was great for 3 couples. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, and dishes. It was also stocked with ants. Any morsel of food was quickly discovered by the ants and the ants were found on all floors and most of the rooms. Ant traps were purchased but were ineffective. The Keurig stopped working on day 2, the espresso machine was a nice backup. The screen door on top level had a large hole in it and the entry door had to be kept closed to prevent insects from coming in which negated the experience of listening to ocean sounds while inside on the top level. Day one, we noted and advised Vacasa of standing water on the lowest level in utility room and entry way. No communication was received, and I contacted Vacasa by phone to ensure the message was received, I was told a vendor had been arranged. The remainder of the days, the leak continued, with water damage noted as the walls became wet and there was a constant stream of water from under the siding onto the driveway. Of course, this level of the home was not usable, due to the water on the floor. As homeowners ourselves, we were concerned with the increasing level of damage to the house and the issue was distracting to us. We appreciated the bagels and were impressed with the quality of the product. The beach chairs were used, and it was nice to have them available. The nearest beach access walkway was under repair upon arrival and completed on check-out day, but we were able to use another set of stairs, so it was a minor inconvenience, and we understood the need for maintenance. There was an abundance of towels to use. Several of the electrical outlets, for example, the outlet under the large windows facing east on the kitchen level, were not secure in their housing and posed a safety threat. The location of the house was good, groceries, restaurants and shopping were a short drive away.

great amenities. loved the pool for a different scene when we could not go to beach. When we got there one of the windows was broken and glass all over inside. There was only a vacuum cleaner to do the floors. would like to have a swifter or cloth swifter broom. the broom we had was not very effective for sand. there was not enough hot water for everyone to take a shower from day one. communication was not very good when we called about the window or hot water problem. loved the view and that it was so close to beach. plenty of room for 16 people to spread out. all in we had a great time. Not sure we would go back to this place.

Unkept landscaping/broken glass

The house was big enough for our family and the bedroom layout worked really well for us with plenty of space for everyone to spread out when needed and a large living space on the third floor for everyone to gather together. However, we were very disappointed with the pathway to the beach. It was overgrown with bushes which greatly restricted a section of the pathway. This made it very difficult to carry out beach items to and from the beach and help our kids down the the beach. We reached out to the Vacasa rep for our stay via text on our Forst full vacation day and was told they would send someone to address this issue. I reached out for a follow up mid week and was told the local staff received the request and someone would be out as soon as possible. They did not update us on our request and never had local staff come to the house. It wasn’t until our check out day that I messaged them with my complaint that this was not taken care of that I was told that there was no local staff to complete the request. We also found broken glass in the master bedroom and in the kitchen that was not cleaned up prior to our arrival that my nephew found. The basement freezer was also covered in spilled beer.
