Cette maison de bord de mer semi-assis sur un terrain d'angle et les six chambres comprennent quatre suites de maître. Literie logements comprennent deux rois, deux reines, deux lits simples et deux lits superposés. Comprend une cuisine complète et salle à manger, deux grandes chambres et une véranda-in. La salle de loisirs au rez-de-chaussée comprend une table de billard et baby-foot. La piscine est clôturée et un bain à remous derrière la maison. Internet haut débit dans toute la maison. Les autres équipements comprennent le chauffage central et air, lave-vaisselle, téléphone, laveuse et sécheuse, stéréo, télévision par satellite, et des douches extérieures. Il y a beaucoup d'espace sur le pont pour l'océan visualisation, et le nid de corbeau permet de dauphin observation le matin, ou grands couchers de soleil sur le bruit le soir.

Little to nothing to do (peaceful)

The house was absolutely beautiful lots of steps, very close to the beach good access but as for amenities, everything was very far away and the town closed way too early even the liquor store closed by 6 PM so if you’re looking for a party type environment This is not the place for you if you’re looking to relax at the beach and read a book it’s perfect. There was a few things that were not the cleanest, but I don’t wanna post those on here because I believe it’s really not the owner’s problem as far as what was messed up. I think it’s there cleaning crew Not doing their job correctly.

Duck House fits the bill!

We stayed here for our Spring Break week with two families for a total of 4 adults and 3 teens. The house has so much room that we could have brought a whole other family and still had plenty of room. The teens enjoyed having their own floor and separate bedrooms with plenty of TVs and a desk of their own. The game room with a pool table and foosball tables came in handy and was a great addition. The Crow's Nest was absolutely one of our favorite parts and our friends watched almost every sunrise and several days of dolphin watching. The pool wasn't supposed to be open but we asked after saying we didn't originally want to use it and they were able to open it for us on Tuesday! We actually got some use out of it even though it was cold weather. The hot tub was amazing and we saw one beautiful starry night. The beds were very comfy as well. The bikes are a great thing to have and were used several times. The only things that we would change are the top floor bedroom door doesn't stay closed and could be easily fixed, more toilet paper, no extra charge for sheets and towels and liquid soap instead of bar soap. This house was absolutely phenomenal and we would 100% come back again! Thanks for sharing!!

Off-Season Stay for Ultra Marathon

We came to the OBX to support a family member running the Blackbeard's Revenge 100-mile race in March 2025. This house is great for a group or large family because of the variety of sleeping arrangements possible and the number of bedrooms that each have a private bath. We also appreciated the game room and laundry on the first floor. Beautiful decks with ocean views, including a screened-in porch. Great trip overall!

Perfect Getaway- Spacious home for entire family

So close to the beach, great house with plenty of room for everyone. Location was perfect. Game room was a plus! Easy check in and check out. Would rebook!

Memorable beach access for emotional family gathering.

We gathered as family for our mother's burial, and this home was just right for a very emotional visit. There are plenty of places for family interaction, especially the crow's nest (watched dolphins from here!) and hot tub. Our host was very responsive and helpful when responding to our questions. A couple of minor suggestions: 1. Suggest better lighting in grill area (near parking). Bottom step near grill is half height, so lighting extra important. Could the grill be placed upstairs on balcony? 2. The main areas were clean, but housekeeping needs to better vacuum bedrooms. Thank you for a memorable experience.

We had a great time. Its the second year in a row we have stayed here. We love the location and home 🏡 The key pad to unlock the keys to the house has been hard to open both times but orher than that everything is great! Until next time! Highly recommended.

Nice Place - Nice Location

Wonderful accommodations with nice amenities. Gracious hosts. Location was very conducive to our activities. Several good restaurants in close proximity. The beach can be seen from a couple of levels and is located just across a private drive and the protective dune. Lots of wildlife around. Recommended stay!

Beach and family friendly!

The house is big enough for everyone to have their own space but also big enough for everyone to be together! We loved the short walk to the beach, and the views from the crows nest. We had a great time and would definitely rent again.

Excellent but needs upkeep

We stayed in Duck at this lovely house because our own, somewhat newer and better maintained beach house in Corolla was booked for the week we needed to accommodate one of our kids' families. Location is great, just steps to the beach, and the house is nice and large with room for all 12 of us. Our only complaint is that small details, like broken blinds and places needing fresh paint, are being ignored, which is a pity since the overall experience was excellent.

Hope to return!

We've been staying in OXB since 2015 and this house has been a favorite and we hope to return next year! It's well stocked and you can't beat the location and beach access. Bikes, chairs, umbrellas, pool, hot tub are much appreciated bonuses to the awesome views and short walk to the beach (it's not even a walk, maybe a skip) The owner had good communication when the AC froze up and a very nice manager was there within the hour. We hope you'll have us back! Thank you :)

Wonderful Stay at Duck Dunes

It was just what we were looking for - comfortable accommodations for four families, with close proximity to the beach, and with a pool! The screened porch and crows nest were areas that were enjoyed by all too. We had two young children who made use of the provided high chair which was nice. We had brought our own child gate, and were glad we did, as the one we found in a closet didn’t seem to work properly. We did have an issue with the microwave, which stopped working, but the maintenance guy was right on it and we had a replacement within a day. (And it turned out that not only was he personable and helpful - he was from our own home town!) We saw a magic show in town one morning and walked the boardwalk and did some shopping. We rode the provided bikes around several residential areas one evening, which was also enjoyable. As a Father’s Day treat the guys went charter fishing, and our 7 year old grandson caught the first fish! But the majority of our stay was enjoying pool time and late afternoon/early evening beach time. Altogether a wonderful week of relaxing family time at a well-cared-for home away from home! (One other note - the bottom level was definitely colder than the other two levels. Put your most hot-blooded guests there!) We would highly recommend staying at Duck Dunes!

Family Trip

To many good things to say about this property - Clean, roomy house. Plenty of room for 7 adults and 1 toddler. The house could easily hold more than 7. -Best equipped kitchen in any VRBO house we've used -Pool and hot tub are clean and well maintained. The pool guy came twice in one week. The hot tub was perfect for those cool May evenings. -4 master bedrooms with full bathrooms. Nice. -Great location, steps from the beach. -Duck is a beautiful town with a small-town feel. Some nice restaurants and amenities. - This was our first time to the Outer Banks. We for sure recommend it. -The beds were comfortable. - The owners were very nice and responsive to questions. We would DEFINITELY stay at this property again.

Very roomy and comfortable

This house is about about a 100 steps from the ocean. Nice views, clean and roomy house. We had a great time on the Outer Banks and enjoyed our accomodations.

Stayed for a week and had family come in from New York Virginia and Kentucky. House was great location fabulous views on the ocean. Nice close access to the beach. Make sure to bring your own bath kitchen towels. House was great hot tub was awesome

Great home for multiple families with three levels of sleeping accommodations. Older fixtures in bathrooms led to some discomfort as we are a tall family. Enjoyed the game room and access to the beach is great!

Didn't disappoint!

While the weather left a bit to be desired, the house was great! Very close to the beach, and everyone was happy with the living quarters. We particularly enjoyed the crow's nest deck. All in all, a good place to stay.

Great stay - excellent location - very clean - great hosts

We spent our March break at this property. Everything was as expected. No surprises. Very clean and tidy. Lots of room for my wife and I and our 7 children plus son in law, grandson and dog. Pool table, hot tub and easy beach access were all a big hit. The property owner was very responsive to any questions. Would recommend and we are already talking about going back next year.

Best week ever

My sister and I planned a suprise 80th birthday celebration for our mom. We had family and friends come in from KY, WV, PA and locally here in NC. This home was perfect Spacious for everyone to spread out. Well equipped kitchen, close to shops and restaurants, and the best part was the million dollar view of the ocean. The walk to the beach was extremely short. This house is perfect. Very clean also and having linens provided saves people from having to pack bulky bed stuff. We so enjoyed our stay

In raising our two kids in Virginia, it was natural for us to go to the Outer Banks to enjoy the ocean and some of the best beaches in the world! Over the years we talked about the possibility of getting a place of our own in the Outer Banks, and eventually we were able to make it happen.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We looked at many properties in the area, but kept coming back to Duck. There was something special in Duck. As a real estate friend told us upon asking him what made Duck unique, he said, in all seriousness, "because Duck is Duck!" What that meant to us is that Duck offers all the benefits of a beach vacation getaway, along with a sense of community and civic pride, in addition to parks, shopping, dining and night spots.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The most appealing quality of our home is its proximity to the beach - it is literally just a few steps from the front door. In addition, the crow's nest offers a wonderful spot to savor morning coffee and watch the breakers roll in, or enjoy a sunset over the sound. Pool and hot tub provide just about all you might need, and the house is comfortable and easy to live in.
