We had a wonderful stay in Marathon Key! The home is beautiful, very comfortable, and in a great location. Everything was exactly as expected, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing family vacation. We especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and easy access to everything Marathon has to offer.We would definitely recommend this home and would happily stay here again!

We would have given 5 stars, but the pool was unbearable. The pool has a heater, which really doesn't make much sense for being in the south, but it felt like the heater was on the whole time. Even at midnight the pool was over 90 degrees. If the owners were to add some shade over the pool, it would have helped out big time. Also the rule about the AC, the house was too hot keeping the temperature so high. We used the pull out sofa, could not locate any sheets or extra pillows or blankets. The place was clean and they had a lot of outdoor items to borrow which was nice. Let's of kitchen items available as well, the utensils all had to be washed though, they seemed to be a little dirty.

Thank you for giving us 5 stars on Accuracy, Arrival, Communication, Location, Room Cleanliness and Value for money. The overall 3 star for a warm pool in the Summer seems extreme. To let you know, the Florida Keys gets cool in the Winter months and our guests typically request pool heat starting in late October through April. That is why we have the heater. We ask the guests not put the A/C less than 72 degrees because many times, guests leave the sliding glass door open (which one should never do) and it cause the A/Cs to freeze up. However, we do not control the thermostat. You had full control over that and if you had any concern about turning it lower, all you had to do was call me. You could certainly have turned it down if you needed to. At no time during your stay did you reach out to me with any of these concerns. The only thing you texted me about was the pool temperature and dock lights.

Yes the kitchen was fully equipped. The place was spacious and super clean. Only thing I would change is the outdoor cushions were worn. There isn’t a lot of sun exposure.

A very nice home with lots of amenities you want.

The home is a great fit for us. The home has the amenities that we want . My family loves the pool and paddle boards. We enjoyed the fact that staying here we were located close to restaurants and stores. It was a great 5 week experience for us. We ‘ll be back next year!!

Great place for a great time!

Four generations in this property for a week; all had a great time! The pool, kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes were all used, and the path to the beach was also used often! We grilled meals and utilized the outdoor seating areas! Would definitely return for more fun! Thank you!

Marathon Family Vacation

Our family met in Marathon for a late summer vacation over Labor Day - 7 adults in all. The property worked really well for us and we especially enjoyed renting a boat for the week and having it delivered right to the dock behind the house. Snorkling was fabulous. Good fun had by all.

Reel Life Christmas

This property was absolutely perfect for our group of 9 family members. There was plenty of room inside and out. The heated pool was just the ticket for the kids. The location was outstanding. We even saw 4 turtles released from the Turtle Hospital on Sombrero Beach. We caught fish off the dock, used the kayaks and the paddle board. There’s something for everyone. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Keys stay

Great trip to the keys! House was great for three families! Parking was not an issue with four large vehicles and a boat! The dock was great for the boat and also for the kids to fish! We were greeted by manatees two nights! Only thing that could have been better was the temp of the pool, it was SO hot outside that the pool was not refreshing when jumping in, more like a hot tub. I know this is the case for many pools in the keys in July. A chiller would be great! I would book again!

Our Christmas Gift

The house was perfect for our family! House is centrally located to enjoy the north and south ends of the Keys. We heated the pool and enjoyed it thoroughly. Kayaking to mangroves and sombrero beach was a treat. We used the bikes almost daily. Very thankful for quick responses from Meredith. Only disappointing aspect was Sombero Beach charging to park now. $14 per car to enjoy our day there- hated being on a clock.

Just a described

We stayed the last week of January 2023. We had 7 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of room for everyone. We never felt cramped. The house was just as described. Beautiful house. Perfect location. We spent a lot of time fishing off the sea wall. Saw a few manatees. Kids basically lived in the pool. The property manager was very quick to answer questions. She was great! I highly recommend staying here.

Sun Fun and Relaxation in Marathon

We took our family on vacation for our youngest son’s HS senior year. The house was perfect. It had lots of great spaces for everyone to relax. All of the bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. The Kitchen and breakfast bar have everything you need. We loved the upstairs deck for morning coffee. The heated pool was everyone’s favorite and the outdoor TV was great for watching sports while hanging out by the pool. The bikes and kayaks were also great to have. The beach and grocery store were just a short ride down the bike path. The dock was also nice. We caught some fish and got to watch lots of wildlife. We highly recommend this property for family vacations, it has everything you need.
