Featuring a large private deck, this resort getaway is home to a living and dining area, well-equipped kitchen, full hallway bathroom and two bedrooms, including the master suite. Accessible by spiral staircase, the top floor offers a vacation space of its own. Central air conditioning, washer, dryer and more. 3 TVs, DVD, Wifi., outside shower Notes: Fireplace is not available for guest use.

THINGS TO KNOW
There will be construction in the community from October 2023 through the spring of 2024. There will be noise related to various projects such as roof repair, piling repair, exterior painting, and road repair, but the vacation rental will be accessible at all times.
The Sea Colony Recreational Association requires a per person resort fee for guests ages 4 and older. This fee varies by time of year and is mandatory.
Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.
This property is managed by Vacasa Delaware LLC.

great location

Very roomy and great location. It was a 5-minute walk to the beach, and was also close to pools, restaurants, and attractions.

Nice layout and location

Had a very nice stay at this condo. It was clean but does need some upgrades. Kitchen was very well stocked with just about everything you could need. We booked again for next year.

Could be much better

This place is run down. With a little investment it could be great, but I think I would best describe it as dingy. The property itself couldn’t be better. The 12 pools, hot tubs, fitness center, beach parking, well maintained property makes up for the run down place. If I owned the house, the first thing I would do would be buy a new bed, replace the blinds, update the patio furniture, deep clean the house and paint.

comfit able, clean, well stocked would highly recommend it. 5 min walk or less and i was in the ocean.central air was great even on the 2 hot days when we first arrived. The upstairs bedroom does not get as cold as the rest of the house but was easily sleep able. Thank-you Scott. If you enjoy riding the tram they don't run as often when you are so close to the beach. No fault of the owner but internet on the beach is poor but i did see some internet tech trucks so maybe there is an upgrade in the works

Needs more than updates

The condo was dingy, smelly, had rotting wood, peeling paper and most importantly, an ac unit intended to cool an area half this one’s size. With all the drapes pulled, the unit blasting, 4 box fans supplied by the property manager and no lights or oven on we were eventually able to get the temp below 78. Sea Colony amenities & location were great as always, but this particular unit was disappointing compared to our previous rentals.

Property was Awesome!

We have stayed at 4 different locations in Sea Colony and this one is by far the best. Room sizes were good, amenities as well. I have a toddler and the spiral staircase was padded for any slips and he maneuvered just fine after a day or 2. The location was just across coastal highway so it was an easy walk. It also meant my older children could go on ahead without me. Any one looking to stay here should keep in mind just 2 things. 1. Internet was spotty. Sometimes working on 1 device and not another or not at all. 2. Bring your own plastic containers for storing food. I brought along sandwich bags, foil, and such. That was not adequate for left overs, especially when it came to transporting food to the beach and when we checked out on Saturday. Other than that, I look forward to booking this condo again for June 2019.

Would not stay again

The location of this property can’t be beat. It’s close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end. This place was not clean and even with a good scrubbing I think many items simply need to be replaced. This place could use more than just a coat of paint. Many of the fixtures in both of the bathrooms were rusty and the bathroom vanity cabinets were filthy inside and unusable. The spiral staircase made me nervous because it wobbled when you walked up or down. The wall-to-wall carpeting was warping in several areas across the home. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the bedding and towels were rough and scratchy. The kitchen cabinets were old, dirty, and there was an odor inside. The kitchen was not equipped with the basics to cook or even eat. What was in the kitchen was old And based on how unclean the kitchen was, we used disposable plates and utensils. There was a musty odor on all of our clothes and belongings that wash. We did book this last minute and we’re thankful for an option, but I would rather be more next time for a place that was clean and well kept. I should note that I did reach out to the management office for extra sheets, towels, and pillows, but I did not reach out regarding the items listed above. In my opinion, these were not things that could have been rectified in our short stay but things that need to be addressed before any future vacation goers arrive.

Should never have rented this out

Positives - clean, decent shower, location, Sea Colony amenities. Negatives - got into the unit after a 3 1/2 hour car drive. Went straight to the main level bathroom. Go to flush and it doesn't flush. My husband turns on the toilet, thinking someone forgot to turn it on for our arrival, and a few minutes later I go in to flush and find water all over the floor. I call the maintenance hotline, and while I'm talking to maintenance, my husband yells out that the tank is cracked. Person replies, "Yeah, we have a work order for that. We're waiting on the plumber." Owners knew, management knew, and they still rented to us. On top of that, there was a window louver curled up on a table, a smoke detector on the counter, a fire extinguisher sitting on the floor in front of the dishwasher, the carpet was all rippled up, an access panel was laying on the floor underneath the TV in the loft area, and the owner's closet was wide open. Spent the days of our rental 12/8-12/13 climbing the spiral stairs for every bathroom break. The first day we walked out the door and looked back, the duct tape around the upper level window added a nice touch. Morning of checkout, 9AM, work crew was hammering and fixing the rotted deck/deck wall panels. We had to walk over stuff to load our car, but the work crew was very polite. I would love to get a portion of my money back because I didn't get what I paid for. I got some of what I paid for, but they really should never have rented this unit out.

There was a strong smell when I first arrived at this home. It smelt like a dirty mop / wet dog. Once I did a cleaning myself afterwards, and got some candles, the place freshened up a bit! The cleaning crew also brought an air purifier for me which did help the smell. It was definitely upsetting to have to clean when I first arrived- but I assume that maybe dirty rags were being used? It’s a nice place for 3-4 people and so close to walking distance to the beach! Big kitchen as well.

I loved the decor of this home and especially the spiral staircase that led up to a delightful second living room. However, there were quite a few repairs that needed to be performed that made me worry about being charged for damages that existed before I even entered. The gate, the front door, towel rack and hooks in the downstairs bathroom that had either fallen off and was placed on the sink (towel rack) and hook on the door that was loose and hanging. On a positive note I loved the location so near to Hwy 1 and the beach as well as eateries and CVS and Walgreen’s. I would definitely welcome a second visit.

Filthy - old-and disgusting

Only one good thing- is location. If that’s all you care about then it’ll work for you- otherwise it was dirty, old furniture , dusty, has a kitchen you do NOT want to cook in, everything is incredible dated , paint chipping on the deck, broken screen door, bed uncomfortable and old. There may have been a few minor updates (like a new comforter and shower curtain) but that can’t hide the filth. Better off at the holiday inn next time.

Great location

This condo is located in the in the first complex after the beachfront high rises. Therefore, it’s truly a 5 min walk tops to the beach. We also found it very walkable to the pools and tennis center. The actual condo was comfortable and slept our family easily.

Wonderful place

The townhouse had everything we could want the Sofas and chairs were comfortable, the kitchen had all the cooking wear ,glasses and appliances you would need we appreciated the blender and made margaritas And strawberry daiquiris the freezer has an ice machine so this is very easy! The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice the place was very clean when we got there. Location wise you can’t beat it . Easy walk the A wonderful local café, a Dunkin’ Donuts a liquor store and the beach. The pools and fitness center and private beaches are more than worth the money you have to spend on the passes! l use the fitness center Three times for my four day stay safe. Looking forward to going back

Outdated and dirty

Other than location, this unit was dirty and outdated everywhere we turned. Dirty and stained bed comforters, pillows, kitchen utensils were dirty in the drawer, microwave had old spaghetti in it, ripped deck chairs, broken toaster, bedroom windows were broken and didn’t close. Everything in unit is from 30 years ago. We love Sea Colony, but this unit needs a complete rehab.

The location is very convenient. Property could use upgrades: bathroom/kitchen/furniture are very outdated, and new beds needed. Comforter and some couch cushions were dirty/soiled/stained. Hardwood floors would be better than all carpet.

Perfect location and Great amenities

This house is in the perfect location for Sea Colony. Right next to everything, but not in the large high rise buildings. We enjoyed our vacation and would rent again. House is a little out dated, but very affordable. Process was great and they were very conscious of the COVID situation.

Nice getaway

This is a nice property. The beds are comfortable, we didn't use the pull out sofa on the loft. The place was clean and the rental company was on top of everything. I would recommend.
