Ground floor means easy access to tropical gardens and the ocean beyond. Quiet location features large private view deck and renovated interior. Doesn't get any better.

Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 1 bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. Large private patio looking out towards ocean and garden. Beach chairs, pool/ beach towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer. Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed for a week with our 6 month old daughter. I loved being so close to the pool and that there was a beach right there (the beach is a little rocky, so we didn't set up there for swimming for the afternoon). It was great to have laundry in the unit and two bathrooms. Parking was easy, the staff was helpful, and everything was very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that the A/C was on a max 4 hour timer, so it got hot during the night and we had to get out of bed to turn it back on. Otherwise, it's a great place!

I'm so glad that there is a washer and dryer that we can use inside the unit. The bed though in the bedroom have no support in the middle, my husband rolls over towards my side. Other than that, all 2 kids slept well in the queen pull-out sofa and our 3rd one on a twin hide-away bed.

The beach there is a hidden treasure with grass, sand & mini sand dunes plus zillions of sea turtles.The pool is beautiful and good size. Hot tub. Four shuffleboard courts, tennis & pickleball, gas barbecues & beautiful grounds. Very well outfitted kitchen. Sofa/sofa bed could be a bit more comfortable. Spacious suites. Laundry, dishwasher, ice maker is so handy for cold drinks. Unit had a cooler, beach chairs to use plus a few books, etc. Nice big eating area both inside & outside. Very clean and well maintained. TV is a bit tricky to get the hang of but with the Spectrum AP was able to watch everything on our cell phones or I-pad! Even a working phone and CD player.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family was blown away with the care taken on the grounds of the Maui Sunset. The gardens are breathtaking and a joy to spend time in. The one bedroom condo was comfortable and set up for a family of 5 with all needed amenities. The response from the staff when we had any questions or needs was generally quick and we were happy with the resolution. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat, the floor level was IDEAL for little kids to run around in the beautiful garden while we sipped coffee in the morning or barbequed at night.
