Condo au rez-de-chaussée avec une chambre, deux salles de bain offrant une vue partielle sur l'océan et idéalement situé près de l'avant de la propriété. Ce condo avait une rénovation complète faite avec beaucoup de goût! Nouvelle cuisine avec de nouveaux appareils, des armoires, et de nouvelles salles de bains! Vous serez très heureux! Bon pied, planche à voile, kitesurf plage fronts ce complexe de condo en bord de mer dans le nord de Kihei. A quelques minutes de la plage Kamaole I, l'une des grandes plages de la rive sud ensoleillé. Air conditionné dans le salon et la chambre. Condo a un lit un queen size, canapé-lit, lit de repos supplémentaire, cuisine complète, et laveuse / sécheuse. Parfait pour les familles! WiFi gratuit!

5/5 — Wonderful Stay at Maui Sunset!We had another fantastic stay at Maui Sunset, and this unit was by far our favorite location yet—we’ve officially voted it the BEST spot we’ve stayed in over the years! The accommodations were excellent, and we really appreciated the thoughtful amenities: foil, plastic wrap, great kitchen pans that were easy to clean, and an excellent washer and dryer. Everything made our stay so convenient and comfortable.The only small note is that the bed was a bit bouncy and could probably use an upgrade, but aside from that, we give this unit a solid ten out of ten.Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We can’t wait to come back!

The resort property is very well kept, nice green spaces, the pool is a little small but not very busy so we were lucky enough to find lounging chairs most of the time. The barbeques were very clean, our room was not clean, there was dust on the TV stand, rice on the couch, smears on the bathroom door, crumbs on the countertop, poop stuck to the toilet bowl, smeared glass doors, mold in the dishwasher. I tidied it up myself. The property manager did offer to send in the cleaners again but I declined as I had already done it. B118 needs a deep cleaning and paint job. Our friends stayed at the same property in a different room and were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a nice hand written note from the host, their room was spotless and updated and the decor was lovely, I felt like we got a little ripped off considering we paid the same amount. I will not book this room again but did like everything else about the resort itself.

Love Maui Sunset

I have to give kudos to the maintenance and grounds teams as Maui Sunset. They work non stop to make sure the pool area , BBQ's and the lawn are immaculate . Not just once a day...everyday.

Pretty good

Overall I’d rate my experience a 3.5-4 out of 5. The location was quite central in Kihei, access to a pool and beach. The condo could use a deep clean, new bedding, and some more basic items such as garbage bags, paper towel etc. The condo grounds and bbqs are nicely maintained. My biggest suggestion is just a more comprehensive clean of the apartment.

Very peaceful and relaxing, our kids probably contributed to most of the excitement that weekend, LOL. Grocery stores are located near by, Kahului isn’t too far either. Down falls, the refrigerator and oven did not work properly. Our food froze up after the second day, ended up having to toss most out before we left. Wendi from Kumulani was great! She assisted us with all our needs and concerns. We’ll be back!

Reviewer Comments: Let me start by saying that this is the fourth time I have stayed at Maui Sunset and the first time I've had to complain, and it is all about the condo! I did take pictures, but I wasn't able to upload them. Kitchen/Laundry area: The stainless steel appliances are very dirty, the laundry area needs cleaning, and the washing machine sounds like a jet taking off! The recessed lights are very dirty. Bathroom not master: The shower rod fell off and can not be reattached; it is too old and deteriorated. The baseboards and air conditioners throughout the whole unit are very dirty. The curtains are dirty and torn.We decided to stay. This was a short stay and close to family. On a positive note, there are new bamboo cabinets in the kitchen, which are beautiful but sadly seem out of place compared to the rest of the condo.

In response, we took immediate action: the unit received a deep cleaning, including the stainless appliances. Unfortunately, the new w/d stack had been ordered, but not delivered until after your stay. Had we known about the issues upon your arrival we would have been happy to set up for a different cleaner to come in at the beginning of your stay. Also, we would have replaced the shower rod immediately for you. As far as the curtains they are on order as well. Unfortunately, like the w/d they had not been delivered and installed before your stay. We regret the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Best Regards, Nathan at Kumulani Vacations.

Maui Sunset is Perfect!

I’ve stayed at Maui Sunset three times now and it’s always a pleasure. Great condo, great property, haven’t had a bad experience. This is a perfect ground floor unit. We were there Jan 1-7 and there were a ton of people the first day or so (a given bc of new years) so it could be loud as the condo is across from the pool but we weren’t around during the day so this wasn’t an issue for us. After the holiday crowd left it was fine. This also made a slight issue with parking. I suppose a lot of people had more one than one vehicle in the lot so the first two nights we had to park in the street but not far. Again, once the holiday crowd left, this was no longer an issue. Very clean. AC is great. Two bathrooms were very convenient. The bed was a tad uncomfortable but we were so tired after adventuring in the sun everyday, we really didn’t mind. It was decent enough. Laundry always a PLUS!! kitchen is stocked with basics, enough for quick small meals. No complaints. Check in and check out were a breeze as well! They also had a new thing going this time — live music during the week on the grounds! It was really cool!!

Enjoy Maui Sunset every time we stay there.

Great location for a relaxing vaca. The condo we stayed in had high top table and chairs on the patio so we could enjoy the view. 90% of the condos have low table and chairs on their patios which spoils the view due to looking thru railings.

Week long stay in Maui near Kihei

Kitchen was a great space; lots of open area for my family and I to cook and eat basic evening meals. Something to note…furniture/couches were a little dusty, my eldest daughter had a little bit of eye irritation after sleeping on the sofa bed. Pull out couch mattress was also a little worn out, didn’t give us back problems but could feel the bed springs when lying down! Otherwise, great stay, we enjoyed having both bathrooms, the close proximity of the beach/pool, and the shower water was always warm! Also great neighborhood, my daughters felt safe walking around!
