Here are some reasons why we feel that you will enjoy our home which we lovingly call the Renegade Chalet.

This amazing Moonlight Basin custom home boasts 6 bedrooms and 6½ bathrooms, as well as a well-equipped kitchen for the gourmet chef. The expansive windows on the main floor offer amazing views of the Spanish Peaks mountain range. Enjoy easy ski in/out access from a magnificent, custom, resort-style ski room with a wall of ski lockers and boot warmers. Simply open the door of the ski room and you will find yourself directly on the Natawista ski run that takes you to Madison Base Area in Moonlight Basin. There is easy access to return home from skiing at Moonlight Basin or Big Sky Resort. After skiing, enjoy a soak in the private, deluxe jacuzzi under the covered deck just steps from the back door!

The main level of this modern mansion has the atmosphere of a grand alpine lodge, and boasts a large family room, gourmet kitchen with bar, and dining room situated to bring families and friends together. The family room has a floor to ceiling, stacked stone wood burning fireplace where you can relax on the full-length couches and twin leather club chairs. You have access to direct tv, apple tv, hulu, and Netflix, just use your own memberships or logins. The mountain décor includes hardwood floors, log beams, intricate stone and woodwork, industrial chandeliers, and amazing wildlife mounts throughout. Steps away from the family room, the spacious chef’s kitchen features a six-burner gas range, stainless steel appliances, and a granite center island, inspiring home-cooked meals. Four seats at the breakfast bar invite cozy mornings, while another bar top table seats four close by for additional seating. The dining table seats 12 with a wall of windows and a vista of the snowcapped Spanish Peaks. The outdoor porch, adjacent to the dining room overlooks the ski run, and has an overhead heater above the 8 person table. The porch also has both a propane grill, as well as a Traeger pellet smoker. On the main floor, this home has two Master suites with large walk-in closets. The West master bathroom also includes a steam shower. The lower floor has a junior suite, 3 bunk room suites and a separate media/game room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Our house is perfect to bring families together yet offers lots of private space when needed.

The summer in the Renegade Chalet may be even more spectacular than the winter. We are approximately 50 miles from Yellowstone National Park. The wildlife outside our windows include elk, moose, deer, fox and occasionally a bear. Explore all the summer activities that Big Sky has to offer. There are several top-rated hiking trails, world class fly fishing, mountain biking, zip lining, horseback riding, ATV rentals/tours, and of course, golfing. You will be able to check in directly at the house, and the property is professionally managed. Our property manager is available by phone to assist you with any circumstances that may arise during your stay.

The laundry room in the house has 2 washers and 2 dryers, as well as a second full size refrigerator.

**Minimum renter age=25. Renter must also be a guest in the house. Max 16 adults or 22 people including children. If requested, property manager will coordinate midweek cleaning for an additional fee. For an optional fee, guests of Renegade Chalet can enjoy access to the private Moonlight Club. Please note that in the interest of public health and safety, Moonlight Basin has temporarily discontinued the use of Moonlight Basin club amenities through the 2020-2021 winter season.
