Our Chippewa River retreat will offer a tranquil escape where hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling and swimming are a stones throw away! Our newly renovated cabin is tucked amongst the beauty of the north woods away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Escape to excellent river views while sipping coffee and watching wild life from the master walk out patio. Relax in the living room offering rustic beauty and a warm glow from the fireplace. Foyer entry offers, laundry and sitting bench for easy removal of clothing after a long day of outdoor fun.

Access to ATV/UTV trails directly from the retreat and snowmobile trails are ½ mile away. Large driveway allows for ability to back in trailers and unload easily.

Late Fall Vacation

Had a great time in a very clean place. Saw otters, swans, deer and eagles all in the yard! Would love to come back in the warmer weather for fishing and atv trail rides. We hope to comeback next year for the same week as well.

Wonderful Vacation

This is a beautiful property tucked away in the north woods of Wisconsin! It is impeccably maintained and the owners are great to work with. This was our 5th vacation at this property, and we will be going back!

Peaceful Paradise

A great place to stay

A wonderful place to stay...felt more like coming home than being away. Finally an owner who gets it and provides soaps, shampoos and TP to make you feel like you are at home! Very comfortable beds and couch! Well stocked kitchen and checking out was a breeze unlike other places that practically make you clean the entire place!!! I will definitely stay here again! Private and quiet!! If I could give it more than 5stars I would!!!

Blissfully quiet and relaxing stay in the north woods of WI

This is an immaculate and beautifully decorated home. Kitchen has everything you need for convenience. Bed was comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels, soap, etc. for your stay. We used this property as a 'home base' to visit waterfalls, state and county parks and nature trails in northeastern WI. Highly recommended!

Tranquil Getaway!

The property is better and more spacious than the photos indicate. Vetter’s interior spaces are perfectly designed and clean. Hosts, Jeff and Heather, we’re extremely accommodating and friendly. The fire pit and back porch are not shown in the photos and were a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this property for fishers, paddlers, hunters or others looking for a hidden gem near both the Chippewa and Flambeau rivers. We will be back!

Perfect cabin for a family

Beautiful, well stocked cabin with an amazing view. We brought our ranger and it is perfectly located for easy access to the trails and room for our trailer. Our boys loved fishing off of the dock and we all caught fish. The owner stopped by and gave us tips for fishing and the trails which we appreciated. We cooked almost every meal and the cabin had everything we needed. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere that was that well stocked. Our kids are already asking when we are coming back. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation

This is a 5 star property in a quiet, beautiful, Northwoods location! The owners are great to work with and the property is impeccably clean. This was our third vacation at this property and we will definitely be back! The cabin is stocked with everything needed, and is decorated in lovely Northwoods decor. Walking in the front door is like stepping into a little piece of heaven!

Amazing

My husband and I stayed for 4 days. It was the most relaxing place we have been to in a long time. The owner stopped in to check to make sure things were good and gave us fishing advice. They allowed us to use their boat as well. It was a truly calming weekend and look forward to booking again!

More then a 5 Star Cabin

The pictures don't do this cabin justice. Cleanest cabin I have ever stayed in and I've been using vrbo for almost 15 years to rent cabins in northern WI and MN. Kitchen is the best stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes, etc. Beds were comfortable. They have done an amazing job remodeling the cabin. They built a beautiful fire pit but we didn't have the time to use it. Heather was easy to work with answered all my questions in a very timely manner. Check-in and check-out was the best we've ever had. When the internet went out Heather got back to us quickly to try to fix the problem. The only cons of this property is the internet router location should be changed and a new dock should be installed or just remove the old dock. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Wonderful Cabin

We had a great time!! Very quiet and a great way to escape life for a bit. The place was beautiful with new updates and the fire place was amazing. We took a nice short trip on the river with the paddle boat provided. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Very relaxing getaway

If you’re looking for a peaceful quiet getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this is it. The cabin is beautiful and very well laid out. Heather thought of everything when designing this relaxing space. We would definitely come back again.

Wonderful Place to Stay!

My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the cabin and location! The cabin was extremely clean and set-up perfectly. It had everything we needed to make our stay flawless. The fishing of the dock was great. If we had any compliant it would be the dock. My wife is 5'2" and the step up on to the dock was a little difficult but manageable. The potential for a nice dock with sitting area there is huge, would be a great upgrade! Heather is a great host with awesome communication! We will be staying here again.

End of summer getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay!! In terms of amenities, this home was incredibly well appointed and well stocked. It was very clean and easy to find anything we needed. The home had a boat that we were able to take out on the water and do some fun fishing! We had such an excellent time and would absolutely recommend a visit here to anyone looking for a peaceful north woods getaway.

Beautiful property

Peaceful getaway

Our family absolutely loved this beautiful cabin. Heather and Jeff have thought of every detail to make our stay great. The cabin was very clean and well stocked inside and out. Jeff was very accommodating and stopped over with more firewood and a full LP tank for the grill. We brought our kayaks but my husband and one of our sons loved being able to use the row boat to get a little fishing in. I highly recommend this cabin for many reasons with no complaints!
