Parfait Chippewa Flowage Façade sur Premier Moores Bay!

Ravissant chalet en bois rond situé sur le côté est de la célèbre Chippewa Flowage, sur Moores Bay, avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de la Forêt nationale de Chequamegon. La cabine 9, avec trois chambres et un canapé-lit queen. Salle à manger pour 6-8, plus salle à manger pour 6-8 dans le porche de l'écran donnant sur le lac. Il y a aussi un pont / coin salon au bord du lac, avec un foyer. ** Cuisine et salon récemment rénovés en 2017 et nouvelle salle de bain en 2018.

Mais rien ne vaut la façade de plage de sable de basse altitude, parfaite pour la baignade! Il y a 2 kayaks pour une personne et un canoë pour 3 personnes à votre disposition avec la cabine. Excellente droit de pêche à partir du quai, ou explorer plus de 14.000 acres d'eau, 233 miles de littoral et plus de 200 îles sous-développées. Le Chippewa Flowage est une pêche de classe mondiale dans un cadre sauvage comme. Les poissons comprennent Musky, Panfish, achigan à grande bouche, achigan à petite bouche, le grand brochet, le doré jaune, Sturgeon et Catfish. Le prochain record du monde Musky (Réclamation de Hayward à la célébrité) est juste en attente d'être pris! Si vous êtes un peu incertain d'où commencer votre Musky Hunt, nous pouvons vous recommander des lieux de pêche ou le guide de droite à la location pour la journée complète ou demi.

Il y a plusieurs bars et restaurants dans les environs immédiats, avec une grande pizza, des hamburgers, et bien sûr ... Poisson frit! Jour de pluie? La cabine est équipée avec toutes sortes d'activités ... TV / DVD, jeux de société, puzzles, et cribbage conseil / cartes. Ou, prendre un voyage à la ville, il n'y a jamais un manque de choses à faire à Hayward! Il y a un marché aux puces tous les lundis, des tonnes de magasins soignée centre-ville, mini-golf, karting, La salle de pêche de la renommée et musée, un practice, location de vélos, et une salle de cinéma 4 de l'écran.

I mentioned to Kelley that I could find nothing that I would change in regards to the Cabin. Beautiful!!Great easy slope down to the water for for the whole family.Pontoon was a plus for us leisurely boaters for swimming and fishing! GPS was great for us first timers heading out on such a large amazingly beautiful body of water. Moores Bay area where the cabin is located was very peaceful and had an awesome view!

We really enjoyed the property and our entire stay. The home was spacious and very clean, stocked with all the amenities we needed, and in a beautiful location. The host was communicative and helpful in preparation for our trip.

Beautiful Cabin, upgraded amenities

This is a beautiful Cabin and well appointed with high end furnishings. The beds were so comfortable, it was exactly what we needed as a busy Family on- the- go with sports, work, etc. Allowed for us all to unwind. Tankless water heating is a thoughtful upgrade, as a Family of 4 and 2 Grandparents, we never ran out of hot water after back to back showers. That's a big deal in the Northwoods! :) Enjoyed easy access to Hay Creek Boat Launch and having our boats right at the dock behind the Cabin. Kelley was a great host, you can see a lot of love and care has been given by the thoughtful touches around the cabin.

Spring Fishing Opener 2025

Wow! This property is the perfect place to create new memories with family and friends! Immaculately maintained with a nice blend of modern and rustic style. You will not be disappointed. Great access to the Flowage with your own private pier, outdoor patio, deck, fire pit, and plenty of green space to relax. The beds and bedding were comfortable and allowed for pleasant sleeping arrangements.Kelley was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. My family and friends are already planning a return trip and will be staying here again! This is a 5-Star lake home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone who appreciates quality inside and out.

Place was awesome. Very clean, comfortable, and the location is perfect.

I would highly recommend this place. It's all about the finer details, and our expectations were far exceeded with the condition and amenities provided. Awesome property and neighbor Dave (and Banks) is also great company.

Beautiful

This was the most beautiful, curated cabin we have stayed at in the eight years we’ve been going to the Hayward lakes. Every detail was on purpose and beautiful. The historic details were so charming. We loved the large parking area for our trucks and trailer, and large dock for our boat and swimming. There was plenty of outdoor space for hanging out, relaxing and cooking. The hosts were very quick to respond to any questions and concerns we had. Our only issue was that there was no air conditioning and we did not know that before we arrived. While it doesn’t list it as an amenity, it also doesn’t say explicitly that there is no air. Our first three days were in the upper 90’s and the cabin temperature never got below 85. There was an intense storm the first night and the power was out for 5/6 hours, so no fans. They did source a window air but unfortunately, it did not do anything to combat the heat. In the end we had to rent a second rental with air conditioning so that the kids (and adults) could get decent sleep. I also wish that there had been an indoor area for us (8) to sit together indoors on the rainy days but we knew to expect that based on the photos.

Stunning view and great memories

Cute cabin in the Northwoods. Very clean and fully stocked. Comfortable beds and more than enough room for our family of four plus dog. Great experience with the family. I loved being completely unplugged and spending quality time together.

Fantastic Flowage Fun

This was our third time to the Hayward area, and first time on the Chippewa Flowage. The cabin was immaculate upon arrival, with no sign of any uncompleted maintenance items. Fully stocked with everything needed, including a ring binder with loads of lake and Hayward area information and brochures. The large square dock had the capacity for two pontoon boats. Great place for 3 or 4 lawn chairs for sipping coffee and watching the sun rise. Our lab though it was the best launching spot for full-out belly flops while fetching her toy shark. The sandy beach was nice for wading around in and sipping a “cold one” if you did not want to have a full swim. If you bring your own boat, the launches at Deer Run Resort or Deerfoot Lodge are quite convenient, with the latter providing a bit more leeway for larger pontoon boats. Plenty of room at the cabin for storing the boat trailer for the week. Johnson’s Resort, which is a short walk or boat ride away is a great place to get an ice cream after a long, hot day on the lake, or to hang out in the main lodge for a little comradery if you happen to run into a rainy day. Definitely the best of our three experiences in the Hayward area. Already looking at dates for next year's vacation.

Fun Stay

Overall we had a fun stay. The property was represented well. The paddle boards and kayaks were not available for use was the only disappointment but not a priority. The only other concern is the neighbors dogs were not on a lees and were walking the property. They seemed friendly but we were cautious. Good trip!

Warm, cozy respite on a wonderful body of water

With near-perfect weather, the four of us thoroughly enjoyed this lovely cabin. Great, easy comms with Kelley allowed us to be well prepared for the week, and we found the cabin to be neat, clean and perfect to support our activities for the week. Kitchen and bathroom updates are tasteful and effective and make this cabin a good balance of rustic charm and modern amenities. Kelley and Travis were super accommodating when we decided to bring two boats and needed more dock space. They are lovely people and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a fire most nights, and the screened in porch daily. When two additional guests arrived for a night, they enjoyed it so much they stayed for three—no problem! Thanks for a great week.

Gracious host!

Unfortunately something came up a few before our scheduled trip to Hayward and had to cancel. While it was too last-minute to find another renter for our dates, Kelly worked with us to credit a portion of the gone money to a stay next year which we are really looking forward to!

A perfect 'back to the basics' family vacation. It reminded me of places I stayed at as a kid.

The cabin is small but set up really well. We are a family of six adults with two toddlers and we did just fine. we used the fire pit almost every night and spent every day in the water. We were initially a little bit disappointed with the shoreline, we were expecting a nice sandy beach from the pictures, but came to realize that the water level was higher than when the pictures were taken. There was a nice sandy bottom. The owners were good to work with, they got back to me right away with any questions that I had. We all agreed that we would love to use the place again.

Great time on the Flowage

Our family had a great week on Moores Bay. The cabin provided everything and more. We have been spending time in that area for over 15 years and this is one of the best. The owners were excellent to work with and very responsive. She was very patient and answered my many emails, as this was my first time renting through VRBO. They even had a box of chocolates and a gift card to a local resort waiting for us. Would definitely return and recommend to others. The kids had a great time catching frogs and swimming right off the property.

Travis and I reside in Hayward, therein lies the blessing and the curse! We get to live here and enjoy all the amenities that Hayward has to offer, but because of our work schedule, we don't get to use our cabin nearly as much as we'd like. That's why we'd love to share it with you! Another plus is that we're locals, we're here if you need anything should an issue arise during your stay.
